Sorry I wasnt able to attend the race again tonight. My mother got into a car accident in her 328i, so I went to see her with my dad and grandfather. She was rear-ended by a Passat while slowing down for an Acura RDX that was, ironically, slowing down to avoid an accident. The Passat did not brake and threw the BMW into the Acura and destroyed the corner and what seems to be the cooling system. We're at the hospital now for her to get X-Rays.

No I was on the wheel, but I was drunk so that may explain any twitchy movements that look like stick users.
Really enjoyed race 1,clawing my way back up the order after first lap mistakes. Spent a few laps behind IfAndOr and the bbb for a few. Proper racing both of them to get past. Having a look up the inside, having to back out dancing left and right. Great sport
Race 2 was enjoyable too but I made too many mistakes

Unlike most I quite enjoy Indy and race #2 started off well with all of us close together. After a few laps though every time I got close to Tom there was lag and I was always worried I would hit him when his car behaved erratic. Couldn't enjoy the race unfortunately due to the lag.

Great races, fantastic pace Joe. Thought I had you last lap in race 1 but not to be. Really good racing, lots of room given when needed. Well done
Aye when I was behind tom I was seeing some lag too, takes the edge off a bit as you always want to avoid contact. Never had that with Tom before, had you cleared your cache tom?
I know most don't seem to like this track but I enjoy it, even with a wee bevvy. The Mrs actually counted up my beers and I'd had 5 Stella and was working my way through a bottle of aperol! Still buzzing after the races though, they were top class

Oh and when you have someone behind you for 20 minutes feel free to make a mistake any time ken!

It was very good races altough as mentioned before it was some lag in 2nd race. Well done again Joe.
Scott had a fantastic speed when he overtook me in the 2nd race and I hadn´t a chance to keep up with his tempo.

Anyways I'm here to announce the next chapter of the WWC, something I had in mind when I started it....
LIGHTNING LAP
Basically this will be a time trial in the club events section of the club, and it will involve 1 LAP of Nurburgring Type V in the Audi RS6 Avant '02.
You can practice as much as you want in your own room or offline, but once you set a lap time in the club event, that's it. You get one chance to do the best you can.
Settings will be the same as the Friday night races. You can tune the car as much as you want to 500pp on SS tires. I decided on the Audi because to me at least it's one of the hardest to get a handle on, it just wallows around. And I chose Type V because it's definitely the forgotten Nurburgring layout.
The event will run for 2 weeks starting today, and you can set a time whenever you want, but like I said, when you post one, you're done. Also it'll give a chance for people who can't race with us on Fridays to join in like @AndreasR @tarnheld @eran0004 @John Wells. Hopefully the lord of the ring @gkgamer will set a time for us to chase also.
Points for this will be decided based on how many people set a time, ie if 10 people set a lap, the winner will get 10 points, last place will get 1, with everyone else progressing by one point. These bonus points could be all important at the end of the series (or not).
Feel free to invite anyone you want to join in, the more the merrier.
There will be another one of these at a random time before June, most likely at a custom track.
