You actually posted some of my favorite games :)
btw ins't Just Cause 1 came in 2006 or 2007? it isn't from 2010's.

But that count's as 2000.
When i said 2000's = from 2000 to 2009.

Anyway let's go back to the thread.

Forgot to mention Goat simulator and Air control.

Have you ever played any of the other SEGA Rally games? The navigator saying 'maybe' after certain turns is pretty iconic for the series. Same for 'Game Over Yeaaaaaah!'.
I find the game easy but that navigator, although comical, just gets to me. I imagine myself in the car, and if I was doing a stage, and my navigator says maybe, he's flying out the car:

Goat Sim is as toasty as I Am Bread. Both engrossing, while mindless and frustrating. I own them both and while questionable, they're not bad. Just a simple harmless game with the focus on F is for friends that do stuff toge..

But a bad game to me would be the myriads of franchise and movie licensed games I got. I remember playing a pretty odd Twisted Metal clone with James Bond cars.

The only exceptions were Goldeneye and the Spongebob BFBB and movie games. And some HotWheels games until Beat That.

Twisted Metal clone with James Bond cars? Would it be this game, by any chance?

But yeah, many movie games were just put out for the sake of making a quick buck and not a good game. Thank god for Batman games such as "Arkham Asylum" and "Arkham City"...

You think that the modern era games are terrible? Surely you've all forgotten the amazing garbage people put in the past.
This is why I haven't nominated a game. How could I possibly pick one that's the "worst" of all time? I'll have to keep thinking about it.
The navigator was absolutely useless!

You're travelling at 120 MPH and the navigator goes "Left medium turn!....... MAYBE" *WHAT!!*

I had to look it up for you guys because I've wondered about that myself, but a "maybe" pacenote means the appropriate pace for the corner will vary significantly depending on the weather and road conditions. 👍
Now tell me a good new game, would you please?
Some of the releases from Metacritic's Best Publisher of 2014, for one. I'm not one to wave Metacritic scores around but I think it illustrates a contrast with the sort of games you mentioned in the rest of your post.

I've also been greatly enjoying new indie games like Shovel Knight and Starbound. IMO there are plenty of fantastic games being made today. It's just becoming increasingly rare for one to come from a major third-party publisher.

Well I have been itching to post this for days, but here is truly one of the absolute worst games I have ever played:

Quad Desert Fury for the Gameboy Advance.

This is truly a terrible game. It don't get much worse than this for me. I grew up in the generation when Gameboy Advances was popular, I loved my Gameboy Advance (And still do) and I actually got more enjoyment out of it than my PSP and PS Vita combined! (Yes I am serious) I enjoyed nearly every game I got back in the days, except this one. I remember buying it at Wal Mart in 2004 for around $18, I thought it would be good, but when I got home I only played it for maybe 10 or 15 minutes and then got bored. I felt like I had been ripped off.

Now if you want to know why this game is terrible, well first off it only has two game modes in the entire game, Quick Race and Challenge Mode. In quick race, when you choose your track, all they have are these stupid numbers to represent it, no picture, no map, or even a name, just numbers. When you go out to race, all the courses are the same, the only difference is they changed the checkpoints around and added some hazards. As for championship Mode, all you do is win each race to continue until you have beat them all and then in the end, you don't win anything.

Secondly the music in the game is repetitive and can get annoying after a while, thankfully you can turn it off. That is about the only good thing about this game. The ATV's engines sound like chainsaw's and the physics and controls are ridiculous even for a Gameboy Advance game. They have several different riders and atv's in the game, but you don't even get to choose, you are pretty much stuck with a blue rider and and a green atv.

My closing thoughts are this, this game is just a pile of cheap garbage that Majesco thrown together and while all this may seem like a lot just for a Gameboy Advance game, believe me, it's that bad.

TheGamerFromMars on Youtube pretty much describes most of what I said and has a good video of it to show how bad it truly is:

It had arcade physics, and graphics worse than GT3. It had a measly 30 something cars and very few tracks. The "RPG" it promised to be was just lame driver upgrades. The damage was a terrible idea since the AI drove like they were in a demolition derby were everyone gangs up on you. It was a terrible game and shockingly it came out in 2006

You trust Sonic games now? I mean, there's All-Stars Racing Transformed, but I think it's all over.

Not anymore. I thought that Sonic games could finally be trusted, but...

Sonic Colours (2010)- "Maybe...maybe there's hope after all!"

Sonic Generations (2011)- "This is great!"

Sonic 4 Episode II (2012)- "Has Sonic really changed?"

Sonic Lost World (2013)- "Oh GOD"

Sonic Boom (2014)- "Sonic is doomed."

NFS MW 2012 - Felt like playing Mario Kart with supercars. Never played or purchased another EA game since.

TDU [PS2 ver] - Was good but my game save kept corrupting and the game wouldn't make new save or even go past the main menu, so that went back in the box.

Probably a game breaking glitch or a faulty copy because my copy dosen't have that problem.

The worst games users said over this thread is racing type of games yet we said that on a big racing video game site, How ironic is that? I have not yet to see a game that isn't a racing game apart from 2 and 3 games.

I never tried Shift 2 but i did owned Shift 1 and it's not too bad, it's alright game.

I agree, it's one of the few NFS games that I've actually played all the way through.

Is it wrong for me to say that I am also a part of that bandwagon? I enjoyed NFS MW 2012, I enjoyed racing around and finding cars (an unique way to get cars, that much I can tell) across the city. If want to talk about bad NFS games, why not The Run and Undercover? Both were bland, both were aimless games where you did the same thing over and over and there was almost no fun whatsoever. The Run tried to add an unecessary story to a game genre that rarely requires it, and Undercover just felt like a game that EA made while being completely clueless without a clear sense of direction.

I like NFSMW, it's probably the best full arcade game of last gen, better than BP and right up there with NFSHP, that is, if you're just looking for silly fun and intense gameplay. Sometimes it gets pretty hard too.

As for my worst game, Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends, I played through the whole thing and I hated it even more for that. It looks and feels like an early Shift 1 build. I can see now why SMS didn't really advertised it, it seems like they are ashamed of it.

There's another one, Kingdoms of Amalur, I went for it expecting nothing and it still dissapointed me. It's painfully generic, not in depth at all and it feels extremely dated.

And my last one although I can't really say I hate it or why I don't like it, it just didn't hold my interest. It is TES IV Oblivion.

I remember i owned that Game on my Wii (my Friend gave it to me for free) and Completed it %100! But i still think this is one of the worst NFS games, Everything is wrong with that game.

I Regret purchasing this game, i should have bought NFS Carbon Own on the City for DS instead.
I got mine for the Wii and I never could get into it a whole lot. I hated the drifting they had in the game, it was just too difficult to me and I never could get it down. I eventually gave up on it and haven't really went back since.
