Worst game in your opinion?

There's this game I remember from when I had a PS2. It was an Initial D Touge kind of game with licenced Japanese cars from the AE86 and MX-5 NA to the Supra RZ and Skyline GT-R R34. The main issue is that the game runs at around 10FPS (or feels like it) and is incredibly hard to judge the braking points. I don't remember the name of the game though.

It can't be Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2? Or could it be Emotion Type-S?

Auto modellista?
It definitely isn't that. It had good graphics and each car had a stock and tuned variant. There was only mountain pass tracks. @FilipinoGTUser1 i don't think it was any of those two. It had an RX-7 FD (yellow Or blue I think) and a white AE86 on the PAL cover

Matches your description.

No, BUT I FOUND IT

After searching "List of PS2 Racing Games" I finally found it

It was called "Touge 3" in Japan but was available worldwide (or in Europe at least) under the name Road Rage 3.

Alright, I would have to say that Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is the worst game ever.

Why? It is so infuriatingly tough, the songs are generic, and the cutscenes were just thrown in for fluff.

j/k.

Well, that cover alone explains why is the game so bad, the sole presence of that logo is enough for me;

Any Phoenix Games product is a major, and I do mean major red flag. May I remember that this disaster came from them as well?

Why did Atlus decide to have their name involved in this, I do not know... Did they produce the game, or was it Phoenix's job? Either way, Phoenix's involvement is enough to put me off from playing it.

I take it that Porsche that is obviously a 993 is not licenced? Had a look through other games from them and a lot of them do look terrible. Never played any of their games apart from Road Rage 3.

This game is awful. It's one of those budget games you find in a supermarket shelf because no game shops sell it and it's worth literally nothing. The handling in this game is worse than sliding on ice and every time you brake the car just locks up and slides down the track. The graphics are dire, the frame rate varies from decent to 🤬, and the easiest mode is impossible to beat.

That actually sounds about right if you're trying to drive a 1960s GP car with digital controls... But I'm sure it's also just crap, it looks painful.

No car in the game is licensed, they're just blatant rip-offs with worst graphical quality than Rascal Racers and no official endorsement from any car brand. And be sure to search for info on 5 Star Racing, then you'll know the true extent of its awfulness...

As far as recent bad video games go, I'd say the whole series of NASCAR games by Eutechnyx was pretty bad. Not nearly as bad as that Big Rigs game that was straight up broken, but these games were plauged witb issues, even after numerous patches. Not to mention all of their games after Inside Line was a straight up cash grab, with everything being a copy and paste of the previous game, with even more bugs.

Out of all four NASCAR games they produced, Inside Line was probably the best out of the bunch. The AI at least know how to make it around the track, and online was stable for the most part. It was still garbage, but not nearly as much garbage as the rest of the series.

I had that game too but, it was called Alfa Romeo Racing Italiano over here. It was complete garbage to say the least. In fact I posted it two pages ago.

NFS ProStreet. Only 2 config options for controller with no basic GT like setup. The Autoscuplt where you can try different configs to gain more speed. No just max it all for most performance. Oh you have a muscle car with a 3 speed gearbox and in the menu you have 6 gears. Good luck with that.

Even though I actually kinda like ProStreet, I can add to this list:
  • "Tuning" that might alter the car in minute amounts and do bugger all for actual speed, especially drag tuning.
  • The cars feel floaty as 🤬 for the most, but they may as well be about 50 pounds on the speed challenges.
  • Speaking of, simply rolling shouldn't total the car. Sever damage maybe, but rolling it at 20? Just, no.
  • Drifting, though I'd be willing to admit that could be me.
  • The AI is derpy as hell, and only seem to perform when you can't see them. See Ryo drifting 5K in the dockyards.
  • Graphics and frame rate on PS2 are abysmal, Where PS3 it just looks. It's a thing.
  • DLC renders the game broken because any car you get on download, even the Roadrunner, cost $0 in game, so you could buy a fleet of Veyrons or F1s from go without penalty.
  • Autosculpt stuff never really looks decent, especially the wheels.
  • The only reason to ever really need the repair markers was if you couldn't drive at all.
All that said, it's in my PS3 right now. One of the few things it does do, for me at least, is immerse me in it. Then again, I like how in DiRT 2 you were in the middle of the party, and many others didn't so take my word for what you will.

Another game I can add to the list is this:

68241_front.jpg

I don't completely dislike the game, but if you had to ask me if it's a "good game", I would simply say no. The game has some nice cars, tracks and customization, but that's just about it. The rest is rather unappealing and eventually gets boring. This is one of those games were if you want to know how to play some parts of the game, you will have to read the instruction manual before playing it (Let's be serious here, who does that?), otherwise this game will confuse you. They make it seem rather tedious and complicated when you're trying to race and it often takes the fun out of it.

The graphics are not too good for it's time and they could be easily be better, but they are not. The cars have very unrealistic performance and I don't play these types of games and expect realistic performance, but I am pretty sure a fully tuned Mustang can't go over 300 MPH in a 1/4 mile drag strip. It's easy to get disqualified if you aren't careful, luckily it's not too bad depending on the track you choose.

One thing I certainly cannot forget is the loading times, it is easily the worst I have ever seen in any game I have ever played! It's so slow at loading even the simplest things in the game such as changing the color of your car and it shouldn't take that long at all. To add more to it, when you get disqualified, their is a long delay before it starts loading again so you can restart, it is simply ridiculous. I can remember playing it once and then going over the line and getting disqualified. I had to wait at least 15 seconds before it started loading again so I could restart and I was like "Okay I get it already!" because I was already fed up with the games slow loading times and that unnecessarily long delay only made it worse. If you get disqualified a lot, you'll get sick of it very fast.

I am sure I have more things I could list on why this game is here, but I can't remember anything else and I don't own the game anymore. This game isn't the "absolute worst" game I have ever played, but if I had to make a list of the worst games I have played in all my years of gaming, this would belong somewhere on that list. I don't really like making long wordy posts like this, but there is just a lot I want to cover when I mention a game like this. It's kind of hard to elaborate on it and keep it short.

The worst game that I played is Corvette Evolution GT, it works like Racing Italiano. The game is very simple. Just customize your driver stats and that is it. You unlock cars by completing Championships or Challenges. The handling though was complete garbage. The so called "Tiger Effect" is good and all. But if it was a sim or simcade that is you would have to judge and predict your line to where you car was going.
