Was much nicer on the 2014 car:Even by Rallycross standards, this is ... Bleugh. The Orange is in the wrong places, looks like it was just randomly pasted on in strips.

It was a great example of German humour. People compared the 917 K to a pig, so they painted it like a pig in a sarcastic reply to these people.
Looks fine to me.
If it was brown, I'd agree.

That's because they're from GRC (bar Doran, who's running a black/white TengTools livery with Solberg this year), which is more like glorified car park autocross than actual RX, featuring extreme sports converts who are there just to get some more energy drink sponsor money. ERX and World RX liveries are far better:

I've notest over the last 10 years Livery's are getting worse each year. there no passion, no heart and such as hell no imagination. this years Motorsport has some of the worst ive seen yet.
For me this has to be the worst in WRC this year. messy, just messy

F1's worst this year by along way once again. which is sad as they had a chance of putting a great livery on this car.

As for your comment on liveries having "no imagination", I disagree. I think designers these days have TOO MUCH imagination leading to complicated, over worked, designs that may look good on paper but dont look good on track. I love the simple looks best

thing that bugs me more then anything about Goff's BTCC livery, is the use of the same RCI insureance logo twice on the side. like the big one wasn't enough, they hat to put another on the rear panel

I see no problem other than the Suzuki logo being slightly too large. The colours are absolutely superb.MotoGP, for me this is just awful.

You lack a sence of history...the Pink Pig is truly iconic and belongs in The Best Liveries of All Time thread. In racing's last gasp before advertising and sponsorship took over, this was a response to using something other than national racing colors.

He didn't say historic. He said iconic. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the livery itself, even if it wasn't as famed as it is; most of your post just appeared to be "lash every pink car in there". There is nothing wrong with the colour pink.
