I run a room with RMs and TCs only, no GT500s and no LMPs, with pp unrestricted. (this is my way of 'weeding out the Weider') However, this is a common occurance which is terribly annoying because i have to sacrifice my own race to kick them.
People who come in to the room and choose 'watch race' while we're qualifying, and after repeatedly urging them to get on track to no avail, i then start the race.
At this point they quickly go to their garage and make it to the track, but they appear on the grid in a FGT!
If that's not enough, i then get hate-mail because i didn't tell them they had the wrong car!?
Well i'm sorry, but if you can see what everyone else is driving, it's only common-sense to choose something similar. So if you're not smart enough to use your head, then you're not smart enough to be in my room!!

Out of 8 rooms i joined today, i got kicked from 7 because of my "Chive" green RX-8 being too "Ugly", or because of my PSN ID. I got so mad i threw my GT5 disc across the room, nearly breaking it. I've had enough with the GT5 community. I might sell the game this weekend.

Sorry Dude, I don't believe 7/8 kicked you because of the colour of your car. If it actually did happen that you got kicked from 7/8, which I also don't believe, then it was for some other reason.

I'm pretty sure I've never seen anyone kicked from any room I've ever been in because of an ugly-colored car, or an ugly car period, or just because of their name(though I have seen some come in and people wonder about their name and then they end up getting kicked after misbehaving on track). That's just sad.
I don't spend too much time in free run rooms however, sometimes when first starting the game I'll join one for a warm up lap or two and then just leave. I have spent some time in a couple that were fine, but I have also been in a few that were filled with the sorts of people who I can believe would kick for such silly reasons. I usually left those before having a chance to see anything of the sort, though.

A hacked X2010 would be a problem to you!? There are only a few tracks it even gets around properly and it can't really be used to ram because it's hard to steer and constantly breaks the collision detection, not exactly a dream trolling car.

Regardless, these hacked cars are illegal and in breach Sony's terms of use.
Personally, i've never seen one, nor do i wish to. And frankly, i am so pissed off that the game is being polluted with these things that i feel driven to go on a fishing epedition: to hunt down these F...s, just so i can report them to Sony! GT5 is supposed to be a realistic simulator FFS!
It's still highly illegal and in breach of Sony's terms of use. Publicly declaring you have one is just asking to be reported, F...!

I borrowed a modded civic from a friend (note how I didn't say received one) and its the funniest thing I've ever done in this game. 350 mph in a civic hatchback. As long as they're not racing competitively, I think they should be used for fun.

I never said otherwise, I was just pointing out that a 102,000 hp X2010 isn't that effective a troll car. In case you were wondering, I don't have any hybrids and have never even driven one. Ghastly things.

Never put a hybrid civic against a x1 at Daytona because that civic is going to be whooped.ik because my friends and other people was racing x1 against the civic around daytona and the civic got whooped.you can race civics at ssr7 or somewhere that got 200+ mph corners,just don't race it at a place like nurburgring

There is nothing realistic about these hacked hybrids. Ahh that's what you call them. I've seen lobbies with hybrid in the title, but never understood why. Thanks, this will make hunting them down so much easier.
They are illegal and in breach of Sony's terms of use. A friend of mine said that 4 of his friends have had their accounts terminated because they were in the same room as someone using a hybrid. He went on to say that Sony have set up accounts to go 'under-cover' and catching these F...s. If they catch anyone in the room using one, they also delete everyone associating with that person!
That's not what you said before. You said you have one, but you keep it hidden away.
Sounds more like you're trying to cover up what you said.

I'm not saying that you're wrong about the breach of terms, but the undercover PSN accounts sound like a bunch of 🤬. There are many games on PS3 that have been hacked online and I never heard of undercover accounts being used to spot people hacking or with hacks. I doubt that they would do that and specifically for GT5 only.

Well you can't say you weren't warned. I guess people need to decide if being permanently banned from PSN for the sake of a few minutes of stupidity is really worth the gamble.
You may be right...But what if he's right... Better yet, what if Sony forbids these F...s from signing up to play GT6 online...

I doubt Sony would ban people from playing GT6. They never banned anyone for playing the next CoD in the series lineup wen they hacked. If he has un-editied picture or video proof then I will believe him.

Very true. The would bann you off the network if you were guilty of hacking/moding against the terms of service.
I am not surprised at all. And honestly I wouldn't be surprised that Sony is using undercover accounts to find hackers. Plus it isn't that hard to find the hackers anyway.
Also if you get banned for being in the same room as hackers and get banned without using the hack I call bull crap on you. You are not in a breach of terms of service for being in the room. If you are in a direct violation which in this case is owning/hacking the game. Then i would understand you getting banned.
But if you are banned from just being in the same room I want to see proof or it didn't happen sorry.
And to the people that say "they are not harming anything by being in the game" and "they are hacked and hacks are a violation of the terms of service"
Kind of looks like one of those "i say potato you say potato" things hum. But oh well people are always going to do what they are going to do.
