Usually free run rooms. The only room i didn't get kicked from last night was a cops room.

You should try joining my club. It's in my signature. The chances are you've been kicked from one of my lobbies for not being a member - if so, sorry bout that! :dopey:

We generally do everything that doesn't involve entering race mode - hot laps, drifting, 1-2 lap races in free run, cruising, all sorts. Look us up, you might be interested.

Very true. The would bann you off the network if you were guilty of hacking/moding against the terms of service.

I am not surprised at all. And honestly I wouldn't be surprised that Sony is using undercover accounts to find hackers. Plus it isn't that hard to find the hackers anyway.

Also if you get banned for being in the same room as hackers and get banned without using the hack I call bull crap on you. You are not in a breach of terms of service for being in the room. If you are in a direct violation which in this case is owning/hacking the game. Then i would understand you getting banned.

But if you are banned from just being in the same room I want to see proof or it didn't happen sorry.

And to the people that say "they are not harming anything by being in the game" and "they are hacked and hacks are a violation of the terms of service"

Kind of looks like one of those "i say potato you say potato" things hum. But oh well people are always going to do what they are going to do.

Yes you make a valid point. I was just telling someone who was in my room a short while ago and he exclaimed that as hosts we can't control who enter our room! Blah blah blah...

Something tells me there's more to the story. Like conversations regarding trading, duping, etc.

If I ever come across a hacked X1, then that means insta-ragequit for me. Those things can break the sound barrier. I really don't understand why people use them to win. If you wanna win, at least do it the CLEAN way. :irked:

I don't really think they give a damn how they win.

I do care about that. I don't want to win a race:

With an overpowered car
By relying on other people's mistakes

By knocking rivals off the track (intentionally)

Well, relying on people's slip ups isn't a bad way to win. Like if they break too much and you can pass, or over- or understeer.

I just saw a hacked gtr black edition and it was smoking everybody at top gear test track consistently

I saw one yesterday aswell. Infact, he was a GTP member. In that same room i was tweaking my hacked X1, and an immature child pulled out his FGT and tried to ram me. :banghead:

Very true, that's how I win most races. I don't particularly trust myself to overtake safely in most places, so tailgating and lying in wait until someone slips up is a good tactic.

Back on topic, I host public lobbies for my club because I seem to get better connection - the lobby title is always 'FRC PRIVATE'. You'd be amazed how many English speaking people fail to understand that word.

Allow me to explain: If they spin out because of the pressure I'm putting on them, that's OK. However, if I just get lucky, I don't like it very much and I think I don't really deserve it. But that's just my opinion. :)

Me neither. You never know how the other driver will react. I did make a risky pass round the outside yesterday though. Glad there are some drivers who don't go crazy when I try to overtake them. 👍

Last night, I played online again after about a month, man, it's so damn hard to find a good and clean racecraft. Eventhough the room title is "Clean Race Only" with fixed host status, still, it's nowhere near clean. People bumped each other on the first corner, and do dirty pass on the inside of corners.

Every single Nürburgring race in a nutshell.

If you want clean racing, not picking Nordschleife and Monaco to race on would be a start.

Picking good people to race with first would be good. Ive had great races at both Monaco and Nurb. Cant actually remember a bad race Ive had at either.

Yep, that as well. Unfortunately most people in public lobbies tend to divebomb at any corner they want to, though.

TBH, I haven't really had what I'd call "good races" at Nurb with the right guys, either. It's difficult to pass cleanly, and it often turns into a waiting game to see who messes up. I prefer side-by-side racing on tracks with a bit more width.

I was once playing cat & mouse on the nurburgring 24hr track against some teens and kids. We each only could choose either a VW Golf GTI or Lamborghini Gallardo. We could only choose 3 colors, I decided to go in a black gallardo. The race started and I was pulling into the lead with the first 2 minutes deciding to see if I could race clean and avoid getting hit and I did it. It was kinda a funny, because I ended up pulling at least a 3 minute lead ahead of everyone else by the end of the race. One kid got made and blabbing "KICK HIM, KICK HIM, HE'S A FAG". One guy responded saying something like "For what, that guy was the only person actually not driving dirty." I just left after a minute.

I wouldn't call that my worse moment or a bad moment, it just gave me a small chuckle. A kid wanting me kicked for actually driving cleaner than anyone else in the race, it just sounds ridiculous.

I went on this terrible server once. Nobody tried to get on the gravel, not even once. One of the users there even apologised profusely when he tapped me from behind. Needless to say, I went out of there as soon as the second race was over.

Well, there's a moment when i had join a room, month a go, not that many people, just 3-4 but we had a blast. Everybody respect each other race line. Eventhough i'm couldn't win, but the feeling of everybody race cleanly definitely worthwhile.

Come on Kevin, your just trying to see if anyone actually reads this aren't you. :)

I cannot listen to my ps3 library musics in online races but I can in offline races like seasonal events or spec races.. I want to listen and relax when I am online racing : ))
