Just had my own 500pp Test/Trackday lobby up. Happily testing on my own. Guy (or gal) jumps in, instant chat comms "530pp plaece", hits the track, waits for me and dives across the track and hits me, then leaves! lol... Some pillocks online amaze me :D

Just joined a Dirty NASCAR lobby. Some random kid joins half way through. The worst part, he was commentating... with his mic. He had such a high pitch, annoying voice I almost went insane.

Had a guy try and torpedo me awhile back on La Sarthe with his X1.. I called him out on the car and he takes that as grounds to try and hit me as much as he can..ghosting didn't work and I wasn't going to get away from him.. I eventually started having fun with it.. If there's one thing an X1 can't match a regular car in, its hooligan antics.. I began using the X1s speed against it. i started doing donuts at the beginning of the Mulsanne straight by the gravel trap/tire wall area and then when he'd take a run at me I'd snap the stick over and tuck the cars tail in at the last second.. Faking him out.. With the result being the X1 would go flying right by into whatever was in front of it.. He couldnt touch me once after I did that. On one fake he shot straight into a pair of Veyrons setting up for a drag race.. There was plenty of foul language directed at him by their owners for that one.. He ended up quitting.

Always remember the mighty RS 6 Avant Dan!

Speaking of the RS 6 - I was in a Cappuccino on London, some berk in an R8 V10 hits me the second I go on the track - blames me for it, then continues to crash me. Revenge time, hey? Out comes the RS 6, I catch up with him, push him into the first corner wall, then drive away, with him unable to keep up. He claims my RS 6 is hacked - I told him that the hacks were recently patched (Duh...) and he said "ur rs6 is faster then normal" to which I replied, "No, it's just faster than you."
He then inherited the position of room host, started threatening to kick me, so I said "go ahead!" and left before he had the chance. I might not have been able to drive my Cappuccino much but still had some fun.
 
Worst to deal with online is the constant bugs that prevent me or my friends from seeing each other in online races. Like, not seeing other cars or even their names on the user list.

How to adress that?

If you can't see each other, odds are one of your internet connections are not compatible with each other. Try re entering the room and if that didn't fix it, turn off your ps3, restart your modem and try again 👍

Stock is better.. It's heavier so it would be able to take more of a pounding. I used mine against a rammer one time in a tuned Viper and no matter how hard he tried he could not take it out.

I'd have to disagree. Reduced weight gives it more manouverability which the damn thing desparately needs. For me, it makes up for the loss of weight. Most cars online are tuned, so they weigh less than the Audi anyway. Whatever the case though you at least want to tune the engine.

Tried that all many times, also we all cleaned cache... GT5 system should automatically check for connection errors and suggest the appropriate correction, like MW3 for example.
 
I entered one lobby to drive my NSX in and it was labeled "Street Cars Only".
The course was Le Mans 2005 (No chicane):
- The first race, I had trouble driving my NSX and it I got screwed because idiots kept ramming into me.
- The 2nd race, I put on better tires and retuned my transmission and came came in 3rd place beating every idiot, but my game screws by by giving me the black screen.

Yeah I understand.. No worries. I personally have two. One maxed out, one stock. I was just saying in a rammer situation the weight of the stock car is better because yea while it has the dynamics of a tour bus it's extremely hard to punt one off the track. In a race where everyone is playing fair of course no contest the maxed car has 400 more horses..
 
I tail this guy and I decide to overtake.
Tight turn coming I quickly move and take the inside line with zero aggressiveness
(I never moved to his position).
Guy doesn't see me and takes his usual line crashing on to me and he gets a ramming penalty.
I get kicked.
Back to my own lobbies for now.

There was also this nimrod in a black RX-7 that couldn't be bothered to type "mb" or "sorry" when he crashed into me. I was sliding around the back turn on Tsukuba in my BTR, and all of a sudden, he just slams into me!
