Haha abs off is always the best when dealing with these trolls. If they ride up your rear-end, blow some smoke in their face.

If I'm in a cruise lobby and I have someone following me while bumping, I have a lot of fun with the person.

With my G27, I can shift into reverse whenever I want. So when someone is tailgating, I simply press and hold the clutch and put it in reverse. I don't let off the clutch pedal I just want the lights to come on. First few times I did this, someone actually spun out and hit a wall. He had no idea that I could do that. Funny reactions are priceless

+1 I want a G27 but I'm not sure if I should take GT5 to that level yet.

I usually do not rant, but when someone spins out in a GTR in front of you on Racing Softs and they calls you names for hitting them when there was no room to stop is pitiful. Some of these track day rooms are real silly. Most people in those rooms do not have any track day etiquette. I really make fun of the people who are in race cars waiting for whoever is behind them on the map to pass them and then they proceed to blow past you. I guess they think they are cooler then you because they are in a race car?

It's funny you mention a GT-R on RS tires. Just clobbered one on a Nurburgring track day lobby with my VW Beetle 1200. I saved the replay. He was such an awful driver.
The host decided to start a race. Feeling like a boss, I stayed in my 1200, even though I was up against a Speed 8, a YellowHat GT-R, and a maxxed out GT-R '07.
He rage-quit as I was approaching the Karusell. It's sad when you can't beat something with 600 less horsepower than you. :P
Oh yeah...I was on SS tires. Had a few mess ups here and there but nothing severe.
Once I get a capture card I'll start uploading videos in the GT5 Videos section of GTP. It'll probably just be recordings of Track Day lobbies complete with commentary from your's truely. :D

Just kind of seems like a third of the people in free run cruise rooms have hacked integras that go 250 mph.

Whenever I try to make my own rooms so I can kick those people, nobody ever joins.

Lol, there are a few guys that'd say I'm the worst the dealt with online. I was making passes in a drag room with my 2010 Copo Replica Camaro and some noob in a hacked x1 kept hitting me about halfway down the track so I loaded 200kg in m Tank Car and parked in the middle of the strip. The player that was hitting started threatening me that he'd beat my 🤬 so I proceeded to give him my address and am still waiting for him to show up. He said he'd be here by now.

You do that too? I love doing that.

Only when prompted. Normally, I'm the polite good sportsman that wins and loses with dignity.

Same here. If someone says they are coming to my house, that's when I call their bluff. In the same way.

I really don't get some people online. I don't go on loads, I don't profess to be a gaming God so I don't do many actual races but I love going on with like minded people to just enjoy the game, a bit of driving and all the time I've spent getting my cars just how I lie them.
Then you get some idiot with a RedBull that thinks its great to go the wrong way and ram ya just round a blind bend. Then he'll proceed to keep bumping and slowing u. I try to keep out of people's way, if I crash out due to a distinct last of talent I make sure I don't get in anyone's way when getting back on the track but these prats go all out to ruin your game. I've got 2 red bulls but I don't use them to ruin other people's fun!
Then, last night I go on and enter a drag room (I don't usually) but I followed the room owners requests and sat patiently online for a drag race but a few kept shooting off and trying to get everyone else to false start - annoying but hey, not end of the world. At which point this guy starts spacing his wording out so he could swear, ALOT, and people were saying please don't, he then said some pretty rough stuff to them too! Then he kept going off saying he has taken out individual PSN names and is "hacking" us all besides one that was clearly his mate.
I did nothing wrong in there but am worried about this hacking thing .... What was he doing and can your PSN account be hacked in some way or was he just winding us up?

Not worst maybe but funny. Followed a friend into a dirty le mans room and laughed as a lotus exige tried pitting my 1.8 tonne Aston. And everyone wrecking each other on run to mulsanne corner, and me sticking to inside guardrail, slow as you like, picking them off.

EDIT:
I joined one lobby yesterday with one idiot ramming me with an Enzo.

Today, I decided to join a cop lobby and this one was the worst one. They were having the players stop at every stoplight (um, you don't do that unless they're all red and you can't have them all red) and threatening to kick people for not pulling over. Um, pursuits are part of police life. So, I decided to get in my R34 Skyline TC and challenge those 'cops' and none of them could get me; I did it to prove how stupid cop lobbies are.
Dang if I had known you were doing that, I would have joined!

Lonely troll. Dismiss.

PSN accounts are hard to hack without direct email and passwords. I'm sure someone else can give you more clarity on the matter :)

Good! Thanks mate. I was a bit worried but there's nowhere I've put my email and password so I can relax.
He was commenting on which people would leave next as a result of his threats. Keyboard warrior clearly!
I shall play in confidence now! Ta dude

It's okay. Don't surrender to trolls :)

Happy racing!

This. If I hit a troll, I'll type "Hey Einstein! Parking lot's that way!"

Usually, the trolls I deal with are hitting me and trying to move my Tank. Unless, I'm feeling particularly jerky then I'll take my full tuned full weight Ram put it on RS tires and load 200kg in it and have it live up to it's name or park it. It's surprisingly hard to move that truck especially when its pushing against you.

A real life "friend" of mine and his friend joined the free run lobby I was in (host was AFK) and when I slid off, my "friends" (let's call him Bob) friend (Lee, not real names) started going "hahahahaha n00b!" And when I challenged him to a race, he accepted. I was winning by a long way, I got to the main straight at the Nurburgring and BAM! Bob hit me in a damn tank car and pinned me to a wall while Sam drove past and claimed to have won. I decided to say "Why don't both of you race me in Nissan Leafs" so they did. I won and got called a "HAX" off Sam, while Bob began to ram me repeatedly. I ended up flipping my lid (more over the fact that it was a close friend who'd try to look cool to a guy he met online...) and I brought my Minolta out and proceeded to spin their tank cars out repeatedly (that's the 1000bhp!) and outrunning them by miles. The host came back and kicked them. Then started the race and pulled an X1 out. I left and joined a Cote D'Azur cops room. Guess who joined… yep. Bob 'n' Sam! I was in Samba-baby (my yellow and white Sambabus) and they pulled GTRs out and told me they wanted to drag race me. So I got my Audi RS6 "Polished Turd" out and beat them several times, and then got called a hacker again.

I'm no longer speaking to Bob, and Sam was given the full fury of LegaChine over the mic and video after Bob invited me to a chat… disgraceful behaviour from the both of them.

It seems like video games tend to influence people to do stupid stuff that they would never do in real life. I've cut ties with a few friends due to unnecessary behavior on countless games. It's rediculous. :indiff:

I was in a Nurburgring free run lobby earlier this afternoon, and all was calm, until the host left. The new host decides to limit the pp to 550 and limit tires to comfort: medium. He also decides to switch off assists, except for ABS. I hopped in my M3 GTS replica and took to the track...and immediately spun. I thought "This'll take some time to get used to I guess." I looked behind me and watched as a detuned LFA did the same thing. I chuckled. Nonetheless I pushed forward. The time-to-beat was 8:11:849, set by an RUF RGT. I pushed the poor M3 to it's limits, and heard my tires crying for mercy.

I was approaching a car in front of me, when said car decided to swerve right into my path. I spun and ricocheted off the wall, hitting not only the guy who cut me off, but another fellow in an R33 behind me. I was furious, and at the same time, upset. I sent the guy in the R33 a private message saying "I apologize for that incident. I didn't mean to ruin your lap. The idiot in the red S15 cut me off."

He wrote me back, saying "No worries mate, he's quite the 🤬 anyway. XD" I resumed the game to see "HAHA u fail Jeep!" written in the in-game chat. I was pissed. I wrote "That was a cheap shot and you know it bro." Turns out, the guy in the R33 was a friend of the new host, and must've messaged him to kick the guy in the S15. I felt good after that.

I'VE HAD IT!!! NO MORE FREAKIN' ONLINE RACING UNTIL I FIND OUT WHAT WE CAN DO IN GT6! How hard is it to clear your cache before playing online? These people are killing me! I think I'm going to have a good race with fellow gamers and then BAM! Not even off the line at the start and someone plots into the field of cars. Then these jokers still drive and the car vanishes. Then appears. Then hits my car like a movable brick wall. Ruining the last 4 rooms I've been in the last 25 minutes!!! Unbelievable man. I'm done with it...

That doesn't sound like the problem is the cache. Sounds like a connection problem.

Either the rooms you are going into you have a bad connection with, or it is someone in the room producing this problem.
