so i was racing with a bunch of clean drivers and then one of them asked for my age. so i type 14 and they all suddenly hate me. what is really wierd though is that im much more mature than all of them (hard to say that maturely). people need to realise not to judge people because of age. Ticks me off.

On a good side though...... ive driven 1000 miles in my stock alfa brera

That's why I never tell people my age. I just type "You don't need to know that" to most personal questions I've had (Age/gender/city/family/relationship status etc.)

I was at the top gear test track with one of my friends and everything was fine until I brought out my 36,637 hp Audi out.then the host kicked me out of his lobby.i wasnt ramming, causing problems,or getting into people buisness.i was absolutely minding my own buisness and the lobby said trade/drag/cruise/no x1.

You were using a hacked car, what did you expect you moron?

^Man, idiots are everywhere. No need to get so pissed, it happens to everyone. We have to live with it, unfortunately :)

Yeah, I got over it( I'm a grown man) in a couple minutes.

My connection is fine. The network is offline anyways for the moment.

I normally ask you to change car to a non-hacked car. I don't kick many people straight away.

Edit: I don't lick people, guys :)

It's always fun when I use my ~290mph Cien in Route X lobbies full of badly tuned Veyrons.
It's not always so fun when I get kicked for it.

worst online experience
drift room + host is asleep + idiot in x1.

1 time i was in a drift room (hosting) with advertised G27 RWD CH. come loud mouth came in, used 4wd race car with racing tyres on, starts ramming every1 hes the best drifter ever, drifts in real life and on gt5 and procedes to say were all ****. hmm ok, sets tyre restrictions, and fr,mr rr cars only, and light penalties and asked him to drift and keep up with the rest of us. if hes good enough we promised to all change our automessages to state that hes the best drifter if he could. he gave up and left after 2 laps because he kept spinning out, oh, and couldnt keep up with us to ram us!

Experience last night wasn't my worst, but it was annoying.

Running 550pp race at Nurb 24hr. Raced a Viper the first race, decided to bring out my RX-8 for the second, despite knowing that it isn't the best car for Nurb but I enjoy racing it and have had good runs with it. I didn't have time to adjust the car properly, so I'm having a bit of understeer in the later portions of the track. Guy in a McClaren is riding my ass going into corners but I'm way faster coming out of them. He passes me before the long straight in the last leg of the track but he redlines, so I fly past him. I run the RX-8 hard into the curves and brake when I normally do when the McClaren slams into me. He goes flying into the weeds, I manage to keep it together and finish the race.

Afterwards, he says I'm braking way too early and for too long, and in areas that "I shouldn't be braking in." For reference, I'm driving a ~$30,000 sports car. He's driving a ~$100,000 super car. I've driven the RX-8 at Nurb more times than I can count and I know what it can and can't do. I told him as such, he said that my tune was obviously bad instead. Well, I'm not a tuner but it I still know how to race it. People just don't get that not every car handles the exact same. I guess I need to just stay out of 550pp races with normal cars or detune super cars to fit them so I can drive it "properly"

I hate it when people have specifications that they don't give me time to adjust to before tossing me aside. Like if I am racing hards and the room host wants sofas, but doesn't give me time to change.
People like that just don't have no patience and judge way too quickly.👎:grumpy:

They definetly should watch this before they do anything. ;)

I remember once doing a race at Cape Ring in my Integra, and a couple of guys in an S2000 and a R34 just rammed everybody off the track repeatedly before fighting it out among themselves. I'm not sure how they didn't get kicked to be honest, they really were that bad. Fortunately they both stupidly burnt their tyres out with only a few laps left of the race, so I was able to win fairly easily, with some other innocent parties coming in about 5 seconds behind me. The guys in the S2000 and R34 were not best pleased about me beating them through fair play, to say the least!

Gran Turismo needs a Hall of Shame. So many ego maniacs out on Nords, they all think they're something special, but when push comes to shove, they're quitters and rammers. Bad sports who can't take losing. Spoiled children i suspect, who never learned the meaning of no. Long ago it made me mad, now i've come to expect it, it's just disappointing.

I barely play GT5 anymore because of this, and GT6.:indiff:

I am getting tired of racing online because of the racers online again.

Today,I joined in a shuffle room with high pp cars.40% of the people in that room(including me)is clean.60% of them was idiotic dirty drivers.Imagine having the same amount of dirty drivers in 5 races straight.that's how frustrating that room was.i am 100% serious about that room. The worst part was at the nurburgring. One of my friends was in the room and he is a clean racer like me.From the start of the race to the end,it was a complete chaos. At the end of the race,I asked the host to kick TXRACER because he was being a complete clown at the nurburgring and the host responded hahaha tx like I was joking. That was the worst room I ever been to.Even the title didnt say I was going to be dirty.

Sorry if my English is a bit off but I am very frustrated right now.

Interesting lobby last night:

At a Special Stage Route 7 cruise lobby (already a problem there). The host didn't bother establishing restrictions so there were numerous hacked cars. One was an orange Veyron going several hundred miles per hour, as well as a hacked MINE's Nissan Skyline R34 with several thousand horsepower. But what was interesting was the host's Chrysler 300 had 890 HP. I thought those only had 700 or so. Several people (including me) asked him if he had Stage 5 parts, but he never replied.

But back to the lobby. People were running around in their hacked cars when we were trying to maintain in a group. This was a difficult concept for some to understand as they repeatedly brake checked other drivers, tried to fit into gaps that they obviously couldn't fit in, they didn't know how to manage their speed, and people were constantly spinning out (most likely from PIT maneuvers) and causing MASSIVE pileups.

I'm not sure if this next part was from that lobby or a Nürburgring free run lobby I was at before, but someone typed in the chat "all hal hitla" to which I replied with "No."

Morons.

Childishly hacked cars still mean trouble Dan. That's why I prefer rooms that have a set PP limit. I hate unrestricted PP level rooms.

Don't hacked cars have negative PP? I restrict BHP because its much more effective.

Usually hacked cars with several hundred thousand HP break the PP system. Dan also said the room was unrestricted PP.

That car i believe is supercharged, in result cannot have stage 4 and 5 turbo. The engine stages cannot be added to it either.

A quick check on mygranturismo reveals that a 300C does indeed have about 770hp fully tuned and broken in. I'm thinking this hacked car consisted of a subtle application of the power multiplier.

Got kicked for absolutely no reason in a clean NASCAR lobby after waiting 20+ minutes for the race to end. I would post his PSN here, but sadly naming and shaming is against GTP rules. I will say that he's French though.

Derp. Forgot about it being supercharged. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought there were stage 4 & 5 engine upgrades, right?
