Anyway I got the host convinced enough to kick him. It kinda sucks when the host is English and the guy being an idiot was Italian and didn't understand English.

Unfortunately I moved away from the city so my Internet is only 5mb now.. I've had to kick anyone from another country, I do miss my friends from other countries .. Ahem, viperbeatsvette, neck-it, silicon1138..

First it's a free run so why limit some aids if your not racing anyway. Second he takes away TC then uses a decently slow car heavily assisted by very grippy tires and for some reason even heavier ABS assists because he apparently still can't drive it. Yet if someone wants TC Nooooo!
I just don't feel any free run host running racing softs has a right to tell the room no traction control when he has the greatest traction control equipped.

Generally TCS off and driving aids off separates the good from bad drivers. I used to have fun learning car control in my own Free Run lobbies with an 750hp Shelby Cobra with no driving aids except ABS and Racing Softs.

I use ABS on some cars. I have others (Ferrari F40, Lotus Elise, Caterham etc.) where I forgo the ABS. I love how people set the brake balance to the rear and wonder why they spin out under braking. I mean, you need to *balance* the brakes... :-/

Southern Indiana in United States. I was paying for 30mbps ($45.99 a month) that ran around 40-50mbps all the time when I lived closer to a city. Now I am in the middle of nowhere and it 5mbps for $40 a month.. Really not that great for gaming. I do okay if there is only about 8 people in the rooms on GT5 but anymore I start lagging all over

My iPhone with 1 bar of LTE just got 8.5 Mbps, with 2 bars it got 11.

My Internet at home gets around 15 Mbps and I can still connect to most international players. I just can't handle a full lobby of people, I lag out if it gets around 14 people.

I don't live near a large city either O.o

Believe it or not, I use face buttons for gas and brake - circle for gas and triangle for brake - second brake button - L2 for left foot braking. No ABS is possible, but don't use DS3, yep, DS3 has worse face buttons than PS2 stick. My not so secret controller is DS2 stick with USB adapter I can dial 10% to 100% gas/brake input on a whim.

A lot of people I see in free runs.
That attitude is what's wrong with the game.
If someone can't keep the car on the road without some TCS let him use it. He's going to be slower with it than the same car without. He also can enjoy himself and not be a mobile donut machine.
Too many people act like their way of playing is the only right way and if they can't play that way they are worthless.
All I'm saying is if you're not racing why limit that stuff? Especially if you're using tires that assist the car far greater than the actual in game assists.

You kinda contradicted yourself there on that last sentence. For example, a 787B with traction control is going to be alot faster on tracks like Nurburgring than one without most of the time, mainly because the one with TCS won't be a "mobile donut machine".

No, I don't believe so. Yes that same person is faster than they would be without but I meant another skilled driver using the same car should still be faster not using TCS if it's someone that can actually handle it.

Just got kicked from a cruise lobby because my Viper ACR was slow,yes it's slow,If you compare it to a hacked x1

1.It's a cruise lobby,all shapes and sizes can drive at their own pace
2.He was flying round in his hacked X1 crashing everyone off the road left,right and centre
