My friend organised a racing league involving 1200kg and 320bhp limits with tyre restrictions and all.

Now, id been invited to this after I won the "lower league" 1200kg and 200 BHP cup. My first race was at Suzuka, and the grid was full of FR/MR/AWD machines and I was the only one in an FF car. A beige Volvo C30, so you know.

I got first in our "Quali race" so I was on pole position. First corner, my friend came along side, tried to power out, span. (Using the SH tyre option) he was then overtook by everyone, so he was working his way through the pack. I was leading by 3 seconds (due to pit stop strategy and the fact I never got caught up by a collision between the 330i and Lotus Evora) and suddenly there was an Rx-8 who decided I was a brake, and he hit me off the road. Not badly, but he got position- over the mic I said "Position, Rx-8" to him. Meaning he collided with me, gaining an advantage from it and needed to give back the position. He ignored, but he was quite slow (long gearing) so I got to him quickly. He blocked down the straight, so in the corner I decided he should give position wether he likes it or not. And I pushed his car to the outside, and retook first.

He was screaming "Position! Position! Position!" And eventually span out trying to catch up. My friend asked the "stewards" (2 guys in Golf Rs) to take a look at the replays. I was given a 10 point deduction (meaning I'm on 0 points) whereas the other guy got away scot free. I told them to review their punishment, they did. I got a race ban.

Skip over Monza, and we were at Seca. I won there, but the guy from race 1 complained about me saying I was ramming him, when it was the other way round. They took 10 points away.

I talked to my friend and showed him the replays in person, he said "Oh god, I need new, unbiased stewards." This had happened for WEEKS! And he done nothing about it. The stewards were dropped, the guy lost 20 points, I got mine back, I got the first guys position from Monza and he has a race ban. But come on, biased stewards! It's ridiculous.

Would you let a reasonably good DS3 user who is willing to learn possibly participate? :)
Also, would I need to do the registry qualifier, and if so, how can I register without having to create a new PSN with GTP_ in front of it?

You only need to register with a GTP_----- PSN for the WRS stuff. I'm in two racing series at the moment and I'm using my regular PSN.

In a Le Sarthe (Chicaned, so no dragging) test run lobby.

I'm using my Toyota 7 and the tyres are quite worn (still over half). There is an Audi RS6 behind me, and the host in his NASCAR is "Offline" (I imagine he's on pause) so he's on racing line doing about 30 just after the esses, and I am blocked by him. He eventually pulls to the left and I go forward, suddenly, with 945 BHP; shot tyres; low aero and short gearing. I spin and go into his NASCAR (unescapable) and he goes off slightly. Then leaves track. I spin several times, after hitting the wall and damaging my front springs. He then types "Goodbye" and as I try to type "I span out" as quickly as possible, I'm kicked.

I message him trying to put my point across (I also throw an insult in because I was annoyed) and he said the following

I was amateur for spinning
It was 100% my fault
I should have changed tyres (Despite the fact I overshot the pit lane due to me on a fast lap and host had a "No backwards" rule in force, so I couldn't turn round)
I had been given plenty of space
I should have said sorry (when it was mostly his fault)
He wasn't at all to blame
He gave me space (Oh yeah, that gravel looks really great to drive on...)
And that he was paused so it was my fault. When he could have been in the pits.

I couldn't brake as an RS6 would just shunt me into his car anyway. It was a lose-lose-lose for me. No matter what, I would end up kicked because I had no other options. Really damned annoying, especially that he can't accept some fault. At all. He says its all mine.

Worst I've ever encountered online:

Lately any room I go to, if I'm out in the lead, by a large margin, I'll be accused of having a "hacked" car and kicked!

It's just absurd, and frustrating. I've never had a hacked car, you're behind me because you're slower than me.

Yesterday, I had the most interesting experience hosting a track day lobby.

Usually, I host public track day lobbies whenever I'm bored or otherwise, the venues vary from Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Autodromo Nazionale Monza or Nürburgring Nordschleife. Anyways, I was hosting a Free Run lobby titled "Trackday: Nürburgring." There were few people who were present at the time, and microphones were enabled.

A player entered the lobby and as soon as they did, I heard the voices of adolescent children repeatedly yelling and literally screaming "hello" into their microphone, much to the lobby's dismay, but I was amused at how these children would effectively troll the lobby.

I think I heard their mother berate the children's noise.

Minutes later, I was well deep into the Green Hell, when suddenly, someone had brought their recorder over to the microphone and started to play "Mary Had a Little Lamb," aebit the notes were off at the end and the song was played at an amateur pace.

Five minutes in, the lobby became annoyed by the "Musical Motorsports Symphony," and just decided to Vote to Reject them. Although they did seem annoying, their misadventurous mayhem was humorous, at best. They were soon rejected from the lobby. Everything came to a calm and everyone left in peace.

Best lobby ever.

If the NSA can listen in on our conversations, why can't Sony do the same and give those brats an ISP ban? Please?

Went in a drift lobby yesterday entitled twitch.tv/(psn withheld). It was good for the first 10 minutes then someone tells the host they're leaving and he says "even better". Leaves and the whole lobby is disconnected. I sent a message asking why.... no reply.

The entire lobby will be disconnected if the lobby is set to "fixed host status". When the host leaves, the lobby closes down.

Joined a Nurburgring 500PP Race Lobby...
Host was AFK, with Automatic Start Cycle switched to 1 minute...
Five LFAs, two RGTs, one hacked X2010, and a slammed EK Civic in mid-race...
Left said Nurburgring 500PP Race Lobby...
Absolute disgrace. :yuck:

I has in a drift lobby earlier and got kicked because the host decided to bust out a Ram and well, Ram everyone. So I brought out my touge tuned 500+hp Evo IX and proceeded to out run him and he got upset because I beat him around the track and keep him from ramming everyone else for a couple laps. Meh, oh well. back on the search for a lobby.

That EVO sounds nice. But I find it so ironic that you got kicked. Should have started an uprising and get the host booted out by private messaging everyone else to vote kick the host.

I bet I know who's lobby you are talking about.

But yes, fixed host lobbies will do that. At least he was courteous enough to tell you guys he was closing the lobby.
