I don't know how you could define racecar to make the Viper look more tame than the R390, but considering the Viper in question was tuned to over 1100hp, I still think it's pretty hypocritical to complain about using a "racecar" with only 800.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SRT_Viper#Viper_ACR
"The American Club Racing (ACR) model was introduced in 1999. This model had suspension and engine enhancements focused on maximizing performance in road racing and autocross environments. "

http://www.supercars.net/cars/1391.html
"Unlike many others, Nissan built the road car first and built the racing version from it."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_R390_GT1
"Only 2 known R390 road cars were ever built, and one is stored at Nissan's Zama warehouse. The other was sold to a wealthy car enthusiast by auction."

Interesting. I thought there was only one R390. Either way, when tunning a car to those limits (which most people do in GT5), it's hard to argue on those things.

I joined a good cop lobby room, until some dude decides to ruin it and freeze the entire lobby,Can't be bothered to restart it now as GT5 takes a lifetime to load, shame as it was a good lobby

Just had an argument about nuclear power in a free-run lobby (as you do :sly:) This person was convinced the Fukushima incident killed 300 when so far only ONE person has directly died from it - and they were a member of a scientific team who deliberately went into the exclusion zone to investigate.

I wish the media would stop feeding the masses hyped bull:censored:...

Joined a cop room (that's mistake #1) on Côte d'Azur (there's #2) full of Australians (#3...?).
There were a few of us cruising on the tunnel straight, when suddenly, some Aussie tells me to "**** off, you American piece of s***."
I'm sorry, mate, would you like to say that again in my face? I didn't think so.

A couple days ago, I heard a VERY crude joke about the Japan earthquake/tsunami. I forget what the guy was saying on the mic, but he was complaining about PD and said they "still probably have seawater in their ears."

I was in a Indy free run room. No one was doing one specific thing so I got out my drifting civic. Me, being a person that makes reasonable hacks, pulled out a 600hp rwd civic EK. There were some people in hacks drag racing, and someone who was not in a hack said that all hackers are :censored:s. I took offense to that and said "So, me driving a 600hp rwd civic for drifting makes me a p______?" He said host, kick hacks. I was first one kicked.

Looking back on it now, I probably shouldn't have said anything.... but hey, the host couldn't give me a good reason why he kicked me at least lol.

Man, that sucks.

I'd leave them alone if they weren't harming anyone but the Hybrid-haters. There are non-hackers I've met who are 100x worse than hackers because they choose to be.

I don't host very often but last night I ended up opening a 450-500PP room on SH/SM tires. Attracted a decent crowd once I went to the Nurb for a while. Had a good race with a dude, had him set up on the back straight for a draft run as normal at the Nurb, when he proceeds to swerve back and forth across the straight and I never did make it by. He bobbled it in the second last corner enough I could get alongside (inside) in the last corner and he tries to turn into me or ram me into the guardrail, I can't tell, but he gets the worst of it and I win.

After the race I give him the benefit of the doubt about the guardrail and say, "good race bud but if you swerve on the straight like that again, I will boot you". His response was, "That's racing and I'll do it again, so boot me now". I responded with, "Have a good night".

Was in a cops room, I decided to get my black Ciel concept car and be a vigilante. So sick of the kids and their S2000s ("Hellaflush yo") then one guy says "Hey, ce21 is ramming me" so I explained "You were racing, speeding, on the wrong side, you hit 2 people, you failed to stop for a cop, so I don't think host should pay attention to you."

I got kicked. With a message saying "don't disrespect my friend", he later joined my cops room and offered to be cop, me not holding grudges said ok. And off he went. Soon I noticed him speeding, so I rammed him into a wall and he said "CE21, 1/3 ramming cop" so I politely typed "You were speeding, not in persist. Stop or be kicked."

Two minutes pass and I hear "Stop ramming me (guy's PSN)" so I watch and he's hitting into a Fiat 500 (stock, as way of punishment) with his GTR, so I say "You've had your chance." And kick him. He proceeds to send me a load of hate-mail. Yeah... No...

Tried out online after about 4 weeks hiatus. First lobby. Classic Muscle. Proceed to ask if ArtMorrison Corvette'60 was okay. Host said yeh, sure. Decent guy. Some kid joins, starts screeching down the mic about how its unfair. How im a g** **** dor using it. Host goes away for a bit for some reason. Kid proceeds to ram me repeatedly with a Charger. I change to a Ford SVT and ram him about four miles off track and leave. Resist the urge to smash the PlayStation and go and play Pokemon. Kicking the shirt out of Marshall helps

The worst things I've dealt with online is mostly in road lobbies, some little dwiblet that keeps speeding around and getting caught, then becomes a cop and starts to just stop innocent people and convict them of **** they didn't do :(

Every time I go to a spec racing room, the car chosen is always RWD. I'm getting sick of it. I wish people would race AWD/FF cars more often. :(

I've seen many rediculous reasons for why people have gotten kicked, but I think my latest boot from a lobby tops them all...
I got kicked for....
are you ready?....
For not saying 'hi' to the host!

I'm sorry, what?! That has to be the most ridiculous GT5 player in the world.

After being kicked, I pm'd him. Be warned that the following might contain some spelling errors.

Me: Why did you kick me?
Him: u didnt say hi to me every1 says hi to me
Me: You're kidding right?
Him: if i was kiddin i wouldnt kick
Me: Wow. I've never seen such a sad person on GT5 before. You must kick a lot of people every day.
Him: *Rhymes with 'pluck'* you
Me: Aww thanks. You're too kind. Let me show you to my block list.

Funny you should mention that. I left tire wear off just so the FF's would still be at peak performance at the end of the run and ended up with at least one FF each race. That race in particular I mentioned above I was in a Mitsubishi FTO and had a couple of good runs against a very fast driver in a Peugeot FF. If I'm not mistaken I think FF's won each of the three or four races at the Nurb:tup:👍

That is pretty stupid what that dwiblet did.

I got kicked in a in a muscle car room for using a AC Cobra . I dominated a race on Monza and some kid says it was cheap and the host boots me . He then sends me a message saying Cobras aren't muscle cars. I am beginning to hate this

They're technically not. The AC/Shelby Cobra 427 is a 2 seater, british sports car with an american v8 in it; it was made to go around tracks at quick times.

The Dodge Viper and Chevrolet Corvette are the same case, they're 2-seater; sports cars.

A muscle car is really a RWD sedan or coupe with a big v8 and 4-seats.

Right before I had to come off, I was in a Nurburgring cruise lobby being hosted by a good friend of mine. Three people were in hybrided cars; a de-winged RB26DETT powered Sileighty, a mental V8-swapped Miata, and a replica of the Silvia-powered Mustang from Tokyo Drift. I brought out my R32 V-Spec II which had a Nismo S-Tune R32 engine and chassis. We decided to slowly cruise 'round the 'Ring. Suddenly my friend who was the host got disconnected, and a random person took over. I didn't make much note of it, but the room slowly began to empty out, with people being rejected every 3 or so seconds. I got rejected as well. The room disappeared from existence.
I hate lobby-hijackers. :grumpy:

It has a big powerful engine (doesn't have to be a v8). It handles like 🤬. It's a muscle car.
