speaking of two way head on collisions we had a rather nasty 9 car pileup earlier, the 5 car race i was in was accelerating one way, and a 4 car race that was about to end came the other, i pulled right, but 3 morons from our crew stayed left, and the 4 car pack, which was basically going full steam ahead in that point of their race, slammed into them full tilt head on, sending their cars into mine and whoever else was not in the line of fire, scattering them like oh so much confetti, severely damaging all 9 cars in the process (totally destroyed the left side pop up headlight on the jacked 2004 Z06 i was using at the time), people need to STAY RIGHT on the Mulsanne!

Earlier i beat a bunch of Veyron with a CT230R.

Only thing i needed was racing soft tires and an X1 driver willing to drive backward and bash them into oblivion:tup:. I was doing okay without him but it was so hilarious. The host wanted us to use race cars and such but he got angry when like half the room(5-6 people)switched to that blasted 16 cylinder beast so he quickly pulled out the x1 before the race started.

worst driving ive seen online? Watched an SLS and 599 wreck.. the 599 was the host even.. then being able to drive away from him on HIS OWN COURSEMAKER TRACK, with my 2004 M3.. LOVE that car

Pro-Gamer-81 .....Scottish
DJFINGERS_SON .....Welsh

Anyone recognise those names? if you do you know they will boot you from a race if you are too fast for them or they just outright call you a cheat on the mic, in future i will have to check the rooms to see if either of these idiots is in it, this is not the first time they have done this either......grrrr.

Always makes me laugh when I get kicked for being too fast  What are you supposed to do, let the host and his mates win? :dunce:

There was a US American driver on a European server last night. He was driving like a crashkid. He slammed into 5 cars in the 4th corner on the Nordschleife and continued to spin out 4 more drivers on Flugplatz, Fuchsroehre and Wehrseifen. I could see it all, because he spun me out two times and i was able to catch up again and again.

luckily he was a bad driver, so i could overtake him, while he was sliding along the guardrail at Schwalbenschwanz. He completely ruined my race and the race of many others. Even though I wanted him to be kicked, the vote never started. I left the server before the next race started and he was still there.

His name was AndreCRVGRJ After the race he said something like: i got crashed aswell. He was clearly crashing into people intentionally. I tried to overtake im on the straight at Flugplatz and as i passed him, he started to push me of the track, with his steeringwheel completely turned towards me. My car was far heavier than his, but i spun out after he pushed me onto the green. He spun out aswell, but he recovered a bit earlier and made an unsafe return onto the track, kicking another driver into the sand.

I usually do not complain about bad driving, but this was the worst driver i have ever seen in GT5 and iam playing it since release!

The worst thing I've had is either X1 owners deciding to go the wrong way or maybe the Irish group I found who just swore non-stop.

GT5 is nothing on F1 2010, boyfriend & girlfriend talking way to graphically about... shall we say the Art Of Reproduction. :yuck:

Go back to page 16 of this thread.. all i have to say... HAHAHAHA

There are many misconseptions about drag racing, first of all, cars that are effective at ssr7 and those long straights, can be fast on indy as well. But if you have a car tuned for ssr7, how do you expect it to be fast on indy 1/4 when the gearing is different?

While playing Call of Duty, a player was receiving "oral assistance" from his lady friend. Needless to say, his kill/death ratio was not very good during these administrations.

I had to deal with this guy last night. Thankfully, he quit after the 2nd lap. Not soon enough though, because he punted and/or pit maneuvered just about every car he encountered. I was in the yellow Supra. He drove through me on lap 1, then when I got along side him on lap 2 he tried to push me off the driving line. I gave him a nudge in the door to see how he liked it. He then tried to punt me on the next turn but missed and went flying into the grass.

I was driving on Nürburgring 24H online. There was a guy with a Brian Vickers Camry. He played scrap the rally, rather than fair play. He wedged others, did dirty passes and braked by driving to other peoples back.
Soon it was like a duel to me and him/her for the second place, because first was driving with MINOLTA 88CV, so he was unreachable. After a while I got a long distance to him, but somehow he reaches me again and at Döttinger Höhe (Long straight) he was a little behing my Nomad Diablo, and then time limit ends and the game says that he was 2nd and I was 3rd. I wasn't really happy.

Edit: I have been oftenly kicked for no reason, maybe because I have been better than the host or others... Sometimes I don't do anything and I get kicked.

I entered a lobby racing on SSR7: there was an argument between a couple players and someone whining about not liking that track then being told he shouldn't have entered the lobby in the first place if that was the case. This should have been my first warning that I shouldn't have bothered, but hey it's only a game so I joined the race. The fight continued and became a pointless swearing match that continued throughout the race. I chose my Nissan 330 ZX, though fully tuned was outmatched by the field of infinitely more powerful cars. Then some guy in an Audi Quattro SUV rams me out of the way then rams every car in front of him off the track just to be an ass. Later I passed him cleanly coming out of the tunnel, weaving past other wrecked cars left in his wake, see him shove another car out of his way which I barely avoid. Unfortunately, he quickly catches up and chooses me as his next target and proceeds rub my car against the inside barrier before clipping my bumper and spinning me out. I finish the race collect my winnings then wash my hands of those clowns and leave, they had the nerve to call that "Street Legal/No NOOBs" could've fooled me!

I hate when hosts change the rule to suit them. I also hate the hosts that play dirty and kick you for being better than them. Although I have noticed in my region, the tosser to good racer ratio has started to lean quite in favour of the good racers since PSN came back.

First corners of Nordschleife is usually a mess in online races :P
Most of the time though it's not because people intend to knock everyone off track, but because everyone is in such a hurry to get first.

Can't really see what's so important about the first corners though, there's plenty of road ahead and lots of time to advance through the field. And frankly, you will get better lap times of you stay clean and avoid stupid maneuvers at impossible places on the track. I mean, the difference in time from being before another car or behind it is measured in 10ths of a second, while if you spin out from doing a stupid overtake maneuver it's gonna cost you ten seconds at least. And it's gonna piss off the other driver you crashed into and you'll have to watch your back for the rest of the session :P

The one that has burnt itself in my mind is this one Jerk off kid who was running his mouth off at everyone in the room with "noob" "**** car". What he forgot to do is check the sensitivity of his mic because we could all hear the porn he was watching on his pc and at one point we could hear him "excercise" between races.

There is a mute audio option in online lounges. That's my favourite GT5 feature. 👍

Chuyler1's example is why I no longer race online. PS3s are affordable to most and anyone can pop in a copy of GT5, hop online and ruin things. I'm hoping to give it another try when things cool down.

I went into this one lobby that said Formula Gran Turismo. I join and they runnin X2010s and a Tank Car. To make matters worse it was a 200 lap race on Nurburgring 24hr. They couldn't drive. And before the race, the host insisted everyone stayed in the pits.

Finally on the first turn I said "**** this BS" and left. Hadn't had a proper Formula GT race since.

They were running the glitch. Your FGT could have been pushed too. & ya, always stay in pits, loads the grid better.

Entered lounge... headed out to track.... kicked???!!!!! WHAT?!?!!!
This is irrelevent. There are a number of reasons to kick someone who enters a lounge...
* It is a private event that you weren't invited to
* You didn't read the lobby title stating the vehicle restrictions
* You are not from the same country and therefore may cause lag
* Your welcome message was juvenial and inappropriate

That was one race out of 5 that particular night and it was the first time in a while i've had someone so childish appear in my room. I typically boot people not on my friend list but occasionally drivers sneak in. if they misbehave i boot them. If you are wondering why I don't use my private lobby its because a) the tire model is a little different and b) other people in the room accidentally start the race prematurely.

I've played this game hundreds of hours both online and off in private and not private lobbies. There is no way in the world the tire model is different between private and non private lobbies. Aside from just knowing by driving it, the thought of that is completely ridiculous. Between on and offline yes things are different (not just tires), but between a private and public lobby, no.

Well my experience was in an EVO. I ran 20 laps at Daytona in my lobby as practice for an endurance. The rear tires were dark blue the entire time while the fronts stayed white and wore down as expected. After 17 laps, I had 25% front tread and 75% rear tread.

We ran the actual endurance in a public lobby and without any changes to the car my rear tires were white the entire time and wore down more appropriately. When I reached 25% front tread, the rear tread was below 50%.

Room said "Track Day"

Brits all in the room, and an italian

Welcome message was "fire her up!"

well, it still could have been a private event for club members. in any case, at least they booted you swiftly. it's a lot worse if you spend 20 minutes testing and tuning for a race and get booted right before it starts.

Not the worst but the most recent for me was this afternoon. I became a host of a room racing 550ish street cars on Daytona Superspeedway. The previous host was keeping great tabs on things. He had a mic and seems like he was enforcing his rules pretty good during practice/qualifying.

Well of course he just lost connection and the host turned over to the next guy who quickly exited. I became the host and started the race.

About 5 or 6 cars start the race and all seems ok. I'm running third. The guys in 1st and 2nd seemed like they were racing clean. I hear some guy with a mic, who apparently was behind me, go "OHHHHHHH!" I look behind me and just see a huge cloud of smoke. His next target was me....

As he approaches me I hear him mutter "I hate cars faster then me... Hee hee hee". Then he tries to PIT me. My Merc SLS wouldn't spin tho. I don't race with aids on but it seemed like I had em on. The car would not spin... At least not yet.

This goes on for 3 of the 8 laps. I was in the lead for a while and he couldn't quite get to me but he eventually did with the help of the draft. On lap 7 coming out of turn 4, him and his Lambo Gallardo finally spun me. He then took over the lead and it was the last lap.

Hahaha... I'm the host of the room...

He was comin out of turn 4 about to take the win... Then I booted him! HA!
