Worst you've dealt with online...

I think three things would improve the situation:

1) Increase the friend limit to 150 or even 200.

2) Have an additional option--password protect a lobby. Simple. This could be done even with private lobbies where you may want to host a specific event.

3) Allow for a more detailed description of the lobby by clicking on it. Maybe 250 characters and give a list of which restrictions, if any, or enabled.

These are great ideas and i only hope one day sony or PD will help us out.

I have also never been able to join a lobby that is private when i am not a friend of the host, if i know a friend is in a private lobby and i select them in the community i do not see a yellow dot to join and if i click on the lobby it tells me im not allowed in, i will try again tonight but am quite sure i cannot join a lobby a friend is in if its private and i dont know the host.

Also sorry for starting my rant it seems this is going a bit off topic now lol.

The skipping (where cars jump all over the place) is really annoying, I mean really really annoying.

Could PD fix this issue or is it just the person's internet connection that has issues?

That is lag caused by bad connections. Whether it's the host, or the user, depends on the situation. Either way, PD can't fix the results of a ghetto internet connection.

If your friend is in his friend's lounge and you don't have his friend as a friend you won't be allowed to join the lounge untill you add your friend's friend to your friends list.

Trust me, I know - had this happen many times.

I'm probably in this thread :(

I try, guys. Probably the worst was when someone just kept on hitting and hitting and hitting and hitting and hitting... It was all lag too.

racingdudehk
uses AWD race carrs in RWD street car rooms.. dirty.. loud.. and to top it all off. he is from georgia

Don't discriminate against the place that the person lives in, that's abuse on a larger scale, and that's a bannable offense here on GTPlanet.

I think the point he was making is that his username has the letters 'hk' which might indicate he's from Hong Kong, but really the person themselves is from Georgia.

I may be wrong though.

What? That's got nothing to do with it, naming and shaming along with discrimination based on where someone lives is seriously not on.

Or it could mean something else entirely! But it's good to see some people acknowledge the existence of my hometown :D most people I meet online just ask me 'where's that flag from?' :(

Who cares mate, naming and shaming should be allowed in a thread like this. If someone acts like a tool box online then I think they damn well should be named and shamed.

If there's a tool box out there who rams and does stupid, immature stuff online then I'd like to know who the are (by that I mean their username) so that if I ever encounter them in a lobby I'll know that person is obviously lackadaisical.

Ford GT is the best car ever. Anyone who disagrees is the worst I've ever dealt with online :P

Well, I quite like it, does that put me in the clear or in the danger zone? And I hope you don't mind me saying, but that's a bit extreme, isn't it?

What really gets me is people that join a room with specific restrictions (such as 500pp, sports soft tires) and immediately start complaining about said restrictions and asking for higher PP, race tires, etc. There are plenty of other rooms with those specs, so why did you join this one in the first place??

+1 This annoys me also.

I haven't been online in a while, but i have noticed that people with terrible names(like TheWhitestKnight or GTP_sucksnads[examples]) are the ones with the worst connections. They almost never make it past the loading screen and get D/C'd right away.

I thought if this last night.. people that have to come stop right infront of you or next to you while you're stopped and paused.. or they stop right inside your car while its invisible.

Typical Yankee. Its either USA or Nothin for some of you guys isnt it? Well IMO, the Ford GT stinks. :P

Haha  . Nothing against the Ford GT as its a pretty decent machine but my gosh that comment made me laugh, especially considering most of the bad people I've dealt with online have been Americans.

And then sit holding there horn :grumpy: That really bugs me.

This pisses me off so much! Especially when I'm typing a looong message with my DS3. I end up scrapping the message, telling the person to shut up, and then retyping the entire message I was working on. Bastards.
