I just happened to be behind this random slow dude in an Evo X that just stubbornly refused to give way... Just as I was about to cleanly overtake him at the exit of the corner he had to punt my twitchy Elise into the wall :grumpy:

Even though it's understandable that they're trying to defend their position, they don't need to resort to such means to do so. It's seriously annoying especially when one's in a hurry to catch the race leader.

Trying to race as clean as possible and have a couple of other racers deliberatly push you into a wall, then get kicked from the room when you chat and bring up the fact there are dirty racers in the room.

Something like this happened to me the other day. The guy just deliberately pushed me out to the grass and he was so uneducated to even curse at me a bunch of nonesense. Definitely an immature hothead. When I told him that there was no need to be aggressive since it's only a game, they kicked me out.

I did made me angry at first, but then I laught at the fact of how far can immaturity go. Since then I don't touch the open lobby option.

Just tonight I joined a 600pp track day room. I decided to use my RM sti and got laughed at. We were on the Nurburgring GP/D course. It didn't take long to catch up to the host, who was in a 430, needless to say I waited for my time to come and when we got to the chicane I took a chance and braked a fraction later than I usually do and made the greatest clean pass in my GT5 career. Wasn't even ten seconds later my screen went black informing me I have been rejected from the game.

This might be a connection problem, I been disconnected from a game because of connection many times, it eaven been telling me that I have been kicked and this with only friend's that I know in the room. Usualy I can just reconnect but sometimes I need to clear my history in network options.

Right after the pass the host name disappeared from the name list on the track.

A while back I did a spec race in Elises using comfort tyres at Monza. They're a bit twitchy right, and we were a fairly tight pack and approaching the right hander (turn 6?) after the second chicane, the turn where you can't get on the power too early or you end up in the kitty litter.

Matey in front of me has run a bit wide and I position myself on the inside to steal the line and the place. Matey can't keep his car under control and proceeds to plonk himself into the inside wall, I even manage to avoid any contact with him. Lo and behold at the end of the race I am denounced as a dirty f..ker and am kicked before even getting a chance to explain myself.

And another thing that is just ridiculous, you join a race that's in progress, and you patiently wait for it to finish because the room is right up your street. Soon as the race is over I got kicked... Kicked before I'd even been assigned a car in the shuffle race.

Hmmm, right. Sound's like a bad racer, that is why I usaly try to add the racers that race clean and good as friends so we can come together and have a good and clean races later on.

Well someone ruined his corn flakes. If i were the host, i would've thought that was an awesome overtake.

Earlier today, I was doing a 550pp race on the Indy Road Course. But on the final straight of the last lap, the guy right behind me tries to pit me, but luckily, I finish in front of him sideways. :sly: After the race I asked him why he tried to pit me, and he said, "I pitted you because you were trying to block me." He was obviously just trying to draft me and just wanted me out of the way to get another place ahead.

What I hate about people choosing racecars, is that they are generally slower on the straights than my souped up Road Cars, and I have to drive at %88 capacity behind them until I pass them safely.

This all depends on whether you run bhp or pp rooms I run bhp for race cars because the street cars won't keep up due to low pp vs high bhp but when I run a road car room it's in pp because the race car won't keep up due to high pp vs low bhp

I was in a free run room on the TTGTT when a immature kid kept saying racist things to everyone in the room and cursing up a storm. We kept telling the host to kick but it was one of those host who aren't doing anything. He got annoying to the point that everyone was attacking him.

Yeah, some people are just sore losers. I've come across this on many occasions. There's a lot of childish people out there, some will even delete you as friends if you beat them constantly. :)

This I've encountered before. You think they're really mature. But delete you for the most childish reasons ever heard.:ouch:

Nordschleife race, waited 5 minutes for the ffffs to finish up their previous puntfest, got stuck in Pole for the start of the race, 3 corners in im eating dirt. BS.

Just in with a group of guys who said I can't drive just because I was beating them by braking really late and not where the driving line was! Sados!

That one thing I don't do is give up I don't care how much I got beaten by or how the restriction is or even the track I will still stay in until it over unless it 15 laps on Nurb

Same.. I hate it when people drop out of a race because they're losing.. I mean if suddenly their pants exploded, fine.

+1. It's very annoying, especially in a longer race.

One time I was racing with a bunch of little kids who apparently didn't like the Nurb. so I started the race and everyone of them went backwards, when I finished I turned everything (aids) off put damage and penalties on heavy and right as everyone got on the track switched it to ferrari f1s and left.

Worst? No. Funny? Yes.

Decided to have a day of dirty shuffle racing. Was having a lot of good fun, until I joined this one room called "dirty shuffle racing", and then got kicked out for "racing dirty and nastily, and therefore cheating". I lol'd.

Wow you're serious? I've seen hypocrites alot on GT5, but i :lol: at this!

Just had a semi-bad experience. Was hosting a good, clean shuffle room. After a few races, some of the people were complaining that I was using driving aids. During one race on Rome, one of the complainers was pushing me into the inside wall on the back straight. He had been going too fast into the turn and hit the wall. I passed him cleanly then when he got even with me, he was pushing me into the inside wall. After the race, I gave him a warning that if he did that again, he would be kicked. He and his friend then started trolling me. (There were only 4 people in the room, me, the 2 friends, and someone who joined mid race.) The friends then managed to get me kicked out the my own room and when I rejoined to ask them to return it to me, they kicked me before I even opened the text box. That is the last time I give warnings. Also, can someone please explain why driving aids are so bad? Why can't people just accept others have different set ups for playing? Why should people who want to use driving aids be neglected like this?

I don't understand why these supposed "skilled drivers" worry so much about others using driving aids. If they're so good, they should have no problem beating someone using them. Especially the ones that claim they go faster without aids anyway.

I use whatever aids a car comes with in real life. I don't ever use driving line or SRF, but I could care less if others use 'em. I thought the bottom line of playing a game was to have fun. If people have fun with these aids, and aren't doing anything stupid, what do I care?

Wouldn't it be great if we could watch the last race replay in an online room?

We've all had our share of he said/she said incidents, and it would just be nice if people could watch the replay then determine the outcome of who needs to be warned/kicked.

Brings me to an incident I had at Laguna Seca. Was approaching last turn, and there was a car maybe 3-4 lengths behind me. I get on the right side approaching the turn, and he dive bombs in on the corner pushing me off. Finish the race, complain, he says "I cut him off" and I say "Check the replay." I leave the room, watch the replay, see the incident happen as I described, return to the room and get nothing but crap from the guy. Leave the room and then he starts PSN-Messaging me. Obscenities flying and I think he said "You messed up now" or something childish. His last words were "your blocked."

He also called my kid several times. I have to think that people that resort to calling other people kids are in fact childish morons. I didn't have my mic charged so he couldn't hear the deep timber of my voice (I'm 31) and he didn't have one either.

Run the risk in public rooms I guess.

It's best to open your own lobby and call it "CLEAN RACING" set the pp for the room, tyre and fuel wear on,and also damage to low, you soon get rid of the "RAMMERS"

I have spent a very long time finding decent racers,i now have approx 20 online friends who are all good clean fair racers.

We hold races on a Wed & Sun nights at about 10.30pm.
So send me a friends request and come and join the cream of clean racing.
Rammers don't get into mine or my friends rooms.

My psn username for GT5 is planger all lower case.
Cheers and happy racing.
