I didn't got kicked very often but mainly because I did a new lap record or simply because I carry a German flag. When I win some kids call me "stupid nazi" and other silly things. This is so ridiculous đź‘Ž

This one's a bit about how I think PD needs to adjust the PP level for the BMW cars, but I think it's a good story.

Pop in a 505 PP race at the Nurb 24Hrs, one lap. 8 others. All American except for one Japanese player who I do know (name withheld.)

I get in my '06 S2000. Host was in an Italia, two people were in S2000's, one in an C3 Corvette (???), one in the Academy Skyline R34, the Japanese guy in a RX-7, and the two other clowns in BMW's - one in a Z4, the other in an M5.

I start dead last next to the Japaneseanese guy. Corvette spins out in the first turn, creating a giant pileup, which I avoided by hopping the curb. I shoot out in first with the Japanese guy glued to my bumper.

Got down to the hairpin near the sand when the Z4 rams us both into the sand. I drop to 5th, the Japaneseanese guy shot up to 3rd. Mr. Z4 was still behind me, and I braked early to send him shooting into the Italia (4th) and the RX-7 (3rd.)

As I enter the full section, I see the green S2000 go spinning out into the first turn, thanks to the red M5. We wind through the section leading to the straight, and he tried to force me off. When he did this, I let off the throttle and caught his bumper, spinning him out into the path of the Italia and RX-7.

Both manage to dodge it, leaving us in a three-way duel for first. The Italia banked into the turn leading into the section before the Karrusel, leaving just me and the RX-7 to duel...

Nope. The M5 and Z4 had tandem drafted to catch back up with us, and after wrecking the Italia in the Karrusel, set their sights on us. They did catch us after a while, nearly entering the final straight (I'm horrible through the middle section when it was revamped... Always seem to lose time and go into the grass.)

They blew by us, and when the M5 was ready, he suicided himself into the RX-7. Just me, and the Z4.

He would have won, he cut through the grass, had he not made a right turn into a wall, thinking it was the normal version of the Nurb.

That gave me second, the Italia third, the Z4 fourth, and the RX-7 fifth.

I got kicked out of a room because the host think I don't know about race cars

I was in the room, and I brought out a zonda remand they think it's a r model street car and I told them it wasn't.so I have to back out of a race then wait till the race ends then it ended.then a brought out a 2j and I got kicked.these guys don't know what a race car is

You probably entered a room that stated Race Cars no Prototypes or no LMP's.
If the car is not based off a consumer based vehicle then it is classed a prototype racecar. 2j= prototytpe Zonda R= R model Zonda not R for Racecar. Before you BITCH try google it might help you.

How's this? I've been dealt abuse from fellow GT5-ers without even knowing that I've had abuse dealt with me. Checked my inbox for something recently and they were piles of messages from trolls and the sort, over the span of many months, obviously angry at me personally or something I've done in the races :odd: Anyone who has seen me race, I always am the gentlemen racer and I apologise for any act that may be misinterpreted as dirty.

I have no problem with people voicing concerns with my driving through text chat (I mute mikes) but, I guess, what are you going to do, this is the internet :indiff:

Simple solution really though: I didn't even read any of them, just deleted it all and changed my privacy settings so only my friends can send me PMs (did you know you can do that with inboxs? đź’ˇ)

/end rant

I was in a room at Monaco, and well at first it was great, we were all just lapping the track. Suddenly, these guys lapping the track got annoyed because someone ruined their laps, they then all pulled out trucks and rammed the entire room.

What did make me laugh was that they were using mics, so you could tell if they were going to hit you because they would shout lets hit xxx. As a result you had plenty of time to ghost :).

I have had many occasions online where users ram me because my car is slower. For example, recently, I have tuned a 69 bluebird, 180bhp, 800kg, 0-60-6.060s. Every time I try to set the car up online I get rammed or pitted, when tying to lap in a free run lobby. When I ask them why they were hitting me, they will say I was giving you a boost. It does seem to me like slower cars are not allowed online:(.

On another note reading some of these comments made me chuckle, someone mentioned that there should be a way of banning players. Well I thought about this. If every driver online has a rating, a number/points, which changes based on contact, crashes, fast laps, wins or losses, the room host could then select the minimum entry requirements for the room, thus removing all the bad drivers. Obviously this would never be implemented, but at least it would be a fair way of comparing driving ability thus stopping abuse of the system.

Have y'all being kicked out of a room for no reason before?that happend to me yesterday

Ive dealt with worse, as soon as I entered the room I got kicked..

yesterday, I got kicked from a dirty NASCAR room for racing too clean in the last 3 laps of the race,

the room was named, DIRTY! LEADER TAKE OUT! I was in the lead group and got taken out on the tri oval at the end of lap 8 including another 2 cars it was a full room of 16 cars and we were 14th to 16th,
instead of continuing to wreck each other, as boost was on we trained up and hunted down the lead group, as the laps wound down we had other drivers join the train, at the start of the last lap there was 10 of us in a train with a 5 second gap to the leaders,
we caught the lead group going down the back stretch, all of a sudden there was 16 cars battling hardcore for the win, I lifted off and waited, caught a draft and went for it hammer and tongs,
by the time we went through turns 3 and 4 there was 11 cars scattered across the road and infield, and 4 still fighting hard on the pavement leading up to the pit lane entry, I had enough momentum from the draft and with the fella's getting messy on the pavement I tried to keep out of sight and held the wall line and sailed straight past them, only to just win by .020 margin as everyone slid across the grass,

then in the message box I see, GR guys, close finish, then the room host says, that's ____ f_____g b______ etc, then goes, all theclean drivers will be kicked, and I was the first one, and I think only one,

just Any Apex, that involves a reasonable entry speed, and the driver behind me insists on using me as his braking damper, thus negating my race, I crash and burn into the curve, and drivers behind me sail past. Biggest peeve. Drivers of ALL levels have done this to me repeatedly, whereas I generally practice early braking when I am behind someone, enjoying the draft, and keeping things pleasantly safe for both of us. It raarely works out when I'm in front.

I have driven over 1,000 races on the Nur, and never have more than 3 finished at a good time together. If people can practice safer braking just by a hair, we could see more races, (how about 1!!!) where all 16 drivers that NORMALLY finish in pro times, could finish a race, 10 of us, in a great record split time.

Had my first instance with being accused of hacking today. 550pp race at the Nurburgring (obviously) and I tend not to race with the typical cars used, so I took out a C3 Corvette Convertible. Now usually I come mid pack but only because the guys behind me take themselves out, this time thought I actually won, by a decent margin aswell.

And well the details fill themselves in really:
Host: Nah man you can't win with that car it's too slow, you must be using a speed hack
Me: First time I've won with it, I'm more surprised than you
Host: Nah man it can't beat M3's it's not possible, you're hacking

I just left seeing as I couldn't be bothered to deal with the hosts immaturity.

Friggin elitists!

Today, I joined a drag lobby with all the usual suspects I normally drag with, as soon as I join, I get kicked for no reason.... Then I sent a polite message to the host saying "WTF did you do that for?" As usual I got no reply, so after about 20 mins, I try to join again and a message pops up " you have been blocked from joining this room" Can he even do that? I havent seen that option before in a room.

So basically what happened that he blocked me from his rooms and on PSN for no apparent reason and I dont even know him. Nice!

I suspect it was because it was an all American lobby but there was already a UK flag on there... Confused...

It'll be like that until the room closes, it'll be like that no matter if the host changes. Got that few months ago.

I had a humorous one recently. A young northerner on mic (couldn't have been more than 14) was the host of a Generic TG Test Trade Drag Lobby. Go figure. He was trying to trade a Suzuki GSX with a younger player. He convinced the younger player that his GSX had 500BHP, which was a laugh. Me being a know it all and what not, I said "Actually no, the max it can have is around 283BHP". Of course I got accused of being a liar and was kicked, so to further sabotage the host's scamming plans I told the young chap (again) that the host was lying about the car. Humorous story, all in all. For me at least.

Oh, I'm not trying to slate northerners either, just describing the host is all! And don't get me wrong, the GSX is still a giant killer and very fast, but come on, 500BHP? I simply had to get involved. Mainly for my own entertainment, though. :D

Oops, sorry, double post. I'll give you another story though! Two guys in Tank Cars on Nurburg trolling everyone. Destroyed be me and one mate in Audi RS6's. 4WD and 950BHP beats a Tank Car anyday xD. Eventually most of the lobby joined the bandwagon and helped us.

Ah right Thanks for clarifying!

@Ibomg95 I hate people who kick you the moment if you try to correct them regarding trades going on when all they doing, like you have just pointed out, blatently lying...

Track: Nurburgring
Car: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 09'
Opponets: 6
Opponet's Cars: 3 Black Edition's, 1 Aventador, W12 Nardo, ZZII, LeMans, Zonda R
PP: 640
Driving Aids: ABS only and Racing Soft Tires

-Driver in Zonda R spun out, Nardo and ZZII were fighting but kept a steady pace, 2 Black Edition's and the Aventador spun out and quit. Other Black Edition could not keep up on straight.

Reason for being kicked: Driving without ABS and winning.

P.S.- Fastest lap time was a 6:29 set by me.

Which is why I only race in rooms with my mates who can put up with my "hacks". I was once told to leave from a dedicated race room (they have races every 15 minutes or so) because I was too quick.
Host: did he serve a mandatory pit stop?
My mate: Yeah, he's just super quick that's all.
Host: I don't think he should be in this room then .. đź‘Ž

Lounges > Lobby's

Me again. I witnessed a funny one on TG Test Track the other day. Guy trying to trade a Lamborghini... for an S14. Stock. I laughed a lot.

 did he get the lambo?

No he didn't. The guy with the Lambo was told how bad a deal he was getting. It may have been me who told him...:dopey:

EDIT: OOH! I've just got another story! Kicked from a trading room for being British! WOOP!

Had a similar incident a while back where this guy in a lobby wanted to trade his Audi R10 to someone. He said he wanted any car in return, but they had to send first. Here is the conversation:

Me: Audi R10 is untradeable...

Scammer: yes it is u ****

Me: It is over the 1mil credit limit.

Scammer: no it isn't u ****

At this point another guy takes notice and gives this scammer a piece of his mind.

Other guy: What, you are trying to scam people by getting them to send first?

Other guy again: Grow up you bloody idiot and stop scamming.

Scammer: U cant tell me wut 2 do u stupid ****

Me: Your argument points are terrible, if you have any.

Scammer: haha i bet u listen to 70s pop

Other guy: what the hell does that have to do with anything?

After that the next few lines I can't remember, but it involved a poorly constructed argument on the scammer's side, including sexual innuendo (s p a c e d out so the filter won't pick it up), living in a basement, and virginity. This was the final line the other guy said:

Other guy: Do not trade with <username removed>. He is trying to trade an untradeable car and scam you out of yours.

Then the scammer disconnects and no one hears from him ever again. Good fight, I suppose?

There are some few people, out there, who have very good technical driving skills, and often hold the leaderboard record times for several choice cars, but don't have the humble character trait to match, and may even possess a bully mentality. It is disheartening to have these great drivers suddenly accuse the one behind them, for any incident, and then a vendetta grows, and he just won't let go.

Why are humans so mean. It becomes wrenching, because there are other drivers that are nice to drive with, and I have the urge to now avoid the room he is in altogether, no real loss, but it sucks.

yeah, I don't trade as I find it pointless and don't have enough faith in humanity to expect the favour returned, thanks to pelicans like that, I don't understand why people need to be that way, if the biggest problem in their life is that someone won't allow you to scam them out of an AUDI R10 then I really wan't their problems, seem pointless compared to mine,

Currently what's annoying me most is all the darn quitters. They really need to code this game so that, once you join a race you are IN unless you physically shut down your PS3. I'm one of those driver's who is very good at motorsports in real life, but will probably never be exceptionally fast online (I *have* to feel the chassis movement in the seat of my pants to really understand what a car is doing around me and then push to the limit). I also drive like I would in real life - that is, I try to drive in such as way that I would not simply be committing suicide in a real-life situations. If I'm in a Yellowbird, for example, I know NOT to brake hard into a corner, because even if I could get away with that in the virtual-world I wouldn't be able to get away with it in real-life.

The upshot of this is that I tend not to be the fastest driver in absolute lap-times, but I do tend to be extremely clean and extremely consistent, often having zero "offs" even during long races. I can't tell you the number of times that I'll start a race with a full grid, end up in the middle of the pack or even the tail, and then slowly climb and climb and climb up the ranks, get myself into a very solid and respectable 2nd or 3rd place, by passing drivers who have gone off and are losing tons of time getting sorted out. Getting to the end of the race I should 3rd out of 8 or 3rd out of 10. But NOOOOOOOO, I'm 3rd out of 3; dead freaking last because all the idiots over-driving and screwing up are quitting the freaking race..... errrrrrr... Very annoying!!!

Well just look at is as those idiots that went off "crashed" and had to retire from the race due to a "wrecked" car.

Yeah, I tell myself that, but psychologically it just isn't the same... I guess a *real* damage model would also help a lot. Passing 8 mostly-intact vehicles whose drivers stuffed themselves into a wall at 180mph isn't the same as passing 8 piles of tortured metal and burning fluid...

Still, I do think an online mode in which credits are not awarded until online mode is properly exited would be nice. That way these guys would have the choice to either stay and continue racing (and maybe learning something along the way), or to forfeit all online credits earned during that entire online session because the only way out would be a hard-reset.

Maybe entrance fee races. 10k or a selectable amount of credits to enter but you get it back if you finish. Don't finish and the cash goes to the other racers.
