Crown Vic and Focus I'd go for the 'Vic - partly as it's more iconic, and partly because I'm less likely to encounter them in day to day life...

BMW and Porsche I'd probably go for the BMW. The styling has aged a little better (though that 928 shot isn't the most flattering).

F50, despite the F40 being objectively better.

Actually it's probably the other way around - most F50 reviews rank it ahead of the F40.

Hot Hatches: DS3. The Clio is a shadow of it's former self and the Peugeot doesn't excite like the old 205.

I wouldn't - I'd have the Megane. Was consistently rated above basically every hot hatch that emerged while it was on sale, and it's less likely to make people think I'm a massive knob.
