Ordinarily between an "M vs RS" comparison, I'd pick the Bimmer, but now the choice has never been clearer. Audi for me. The deciding factor for me boils down to just one word:

For some reason, the grille doesn't bother me that much. It is something we need to accept and get used to. Which will happen eventually. I still don't get it why BMW made this grille so humongous?

I'm seriously hoping that once I finally see one of these in person, I'll be like "that's not so bad actually", but I'm still doubtful.

I don't think that is going to happen. Too many BMW fans will always buy a BMW no matter how the grille looks like. If I was a BMW fan, I'd buy one no matter what the grille looks like.

There isn't enough fans to do so. As all other automakers BMW relies on non fanboys to buy the bulk of their cars

Maybe but I don't think that BMW is going to lose many customers because of the grille.
