Well that's why you're here! You'll be picking up speed in no time. And, I'm sure there are quite a few of the D3 guys who aren't actually competing right now(well, I KNOW there are, but who knows who will actually race again). Also keep in mind that some people spend over 10 hours on one week's race, where others spend 30 minutes to an hour. It's up to you how much time you spend on a race, and usually with time you will improve, and improve, and improve.
In any case, WELCOME! We're glad to have you, and hopefully can give you some tips here and there. Do you have a Maxdrive or other replay device? We can probably walk you through things if you had one. I guess there are a few movies around online that you can look at to get ideas for lines and how to drive faster and such. 👍

Certainly, just run a qually and submit it to Flat-Out. Check the FAQs for more consise and detailed explanations.

You need to run the qualifier first, located here. Give it a decent going over and submit by PM to Flat-Out.
Then you can run the current week's combo. You only have about 2.5 hours left for this week - the Toyota TS020 @ TM reverse - which, along with the qually, is a pretty tall order even for you I would imagine.
Otherwise, spend some time on the qualifier, then go straight onto next weeks absolute f:censored:r of a combo - here - and submit both times to Flat-Out. He will probably either assign you to a division in the week 67 results thread or in the New drivers thread here.

Welcome! And just so you know, make sure you spend at least two-three hours on the qualifier... Remember that you'll have a WHOLE week to race each week, and you want as much time as you'll spend over the week on the normal races into the qualifier. So that could even mean 10 hours into the qualifier before you submit it! 👍 Now if only everyone who joined up would do that... I know that I didn't spend enough time on it a year ago...George Morley

Very good point! I know I spent about 3-4 hours on my qually, and I was defiantly misplaced in div3. Right now I am going to spend some time re-doing my qualy. Shooting for Div 1!!

Right on, I don't think I even spent that much time on it... I remember seeing another post you recently made, and getting promoted is just based on your recent standings in the weekly races. Re-running the qualifier is more of a visual of how much you've improved, and has no effect on your division placement, for what it's worth. 👍TeamLosiRacer
