If you keep on acting like a sneaky little bastard, everybody will be holding a grudge against you. If you suspect something, try to solve it via pm. Now you're trying to give Sjaak a bad name. Sjaak is a hounest person and won't make problems unnecessary. I don't know what you want to achieve with this, but I suggest you'd reflect on your own actions. You ain't making yourself popular with this attitude.

I don't think talking like that is right, Sjaak wouldn't want you to start swearing at another member. Plz keep it to pm's or to your self, you don't know everything about it and we don't want it here.

That's good. I wanted to confront Ben with how it feels when people critizise you or accuse you of something and then post it in a topic where everybody can read it. That doesn't make you feel any better, that's why you should use pm. I hope he realised this in the meantime.

Hugo Boss, please for gods sake think before you post?
It was a totally vaild reason, that was not really the one of which I posted, both of us agreed it was vaild, and now we've made the difference up and sorted the matter.
I'm sure Ron could back up the fact it wasn't to do with replays etc, and I had reason to be worried about it.
Jees.

Any more problems with me, PM me.

On a happier note, I am getting better with my DFP, so hopefully I'll be acquainted with it properly in the next few weeks :P

For all you Aussies out there (and anyone else who can get access to Motor magazine) I sent them a letter in regard to my crash and I just got an email saying they were gonna put it in the next issue :) They were asking for photos too so we'll see what it's like next month.
Sweet! I'll keep my eyes peeled. 👍

Pity we get it like a month and a half after you though...

That's awesome news!

I'll be sure to pick it up. 👍

I've had my DFP oooh, all of 8 days now, and it's already malfunctioned.
Accelerator pedal stuck on half-accelration all the time :grumpy: .
Soooo I'll be ringing Logitech Support, I just missed it today (phones close at 6pm, got home at 6.10pm). Any ideas in the mean time? I tried opening it up and having a little poke about, but no joy :( .

You can fix it yourself, it's common issue. Logitech is just gonna give you new pedals and they will fail too.
Search the steering wheel forum for "loose pots"

Aaaah loose pots, cheers 👍
I did take a long look into the steering wheels section, but no joy?
Thanks again bud.

Mine failed after about three weeks.
The problem was caused by the sensor potenciometres (pots) being too loose in their housing. I fixed it by adding spacers between metal tabs and plastic housing.
Most people just glue them

Went down to Brighton/St Kilda at about 3:00am this morning. (City of Melbourne in the background)

Hi guys, i just wanted to know how you use your DS2. This is how i use mine, all i have to do is roll my thumb back to brake and then forward again to accelerate :)

Interesting...I've thought about changing but I just use the default set up, swap your brake and accelerator and that's me 👍

Yeah i didn't like that way as i had to side my thumb across or let go of the button and put it down again to brake (vicer versa) 👍

Nice, I also use the Directional arrows. I'm the same as Weary then ;)
I used to use analogue stick, but changed due to reccomendation.

I've always used the directional arrows, as I've been addictied to Gran Turismo since versions 1&2 on the PS1. I tried the analog stick, but the pads just feel better to me for some reason.

I keep all the buttons at default. I never have to slide or pick-up from the gas because I keep the tip of my thumb on the brake and the knuckle on the gas. My thumbs are built kind of wierd, though.

Check out my Racing machine :dopey:
This peace of kit has more adjustments than in GT Mode (GT4). Like Anti-Squat, Anti-Dive, Downstops and Caster. Also has most of the options in GT mode too.
I use to race it in doors on carpet, on a 1 metre wide track. :scared:

Could it be a matter of when you've started to play ?
My brother, who's been a GT fan since GT1 also uses only the D-pad, while myself, addicted since GT3 only use the analog stick.

Hmmm. I've walways used the analogue sticks, even for GT1/GT2, as the Dualshock was out by that time :P
I used Analogue even in week 66, my first ever in the WRS, but Dan/holl01 reccomended buttons over sticks. So I changed :D

I didn't know they were out when gt1 came out, but I've never really been into gaming outside of GT.

It seems like the stick would be better for things like the gymkhana course--I can never seem to get the wheels to turn fast enough with the pad.

I have a deadline submission for a combo on another site in 10 hours and I'm hoping someone here could verify my run for me because to be honest I'm not sure about it and MSN is dead at the moment so my usual verifyer is unavailable. I've done a video of it because it's NTSC and not many here use that format.

Thanks in advance. 👍

Unfortunately I can't see youtube videos from work, all I see is a big white square so I'm of no immediate help I'm afraid.

Hahahahaha. I want to know what forum that's for...

Uhm. It's clean. In some respects... :-P

Its clean mate, you shouldnt have any troubles , btw i love that perlescent paint, depending on how the sun hits it depends on the colour you see. Fantastic stuff.
