WRS'ers and their ride...

Nope, AE86
Hmm. It's single cam though, right? I thought the single cam versions were called the Hachi-Go and considered AE85s, while the double cam versions were called Hachi-Roku and AE86s...

Nice pic, awesome how the wheel turned out. I would crop that pic and leave just the wheel, looks great!

AE85s were Japan-only models with a SOHC motor that was powered by weaksauce. :) The 4A-C in the SR5s is a US-only motor (the C stands for California, BTW), and is still considered to be in the AE86 chassis line, as the VIN reinforces. 70BHP in this bad boy

I don't have a shot of my car, but here is a dyno on 21psi, 93 octane gas.

98' VW GTi VR6 Turbo
SC61 Turbo, Forged gears, lsd, JE pistons, ARP Hardware
12.8@116mph on ~15psi, street tires.

Beating 600cc bikes on the highway is fun :sly:

I'm in love... 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍:sly::crazy::ouch:💡:):):)

Yeah, that's a disturbingly quick vehicle  I can't even handle the 103kw of my piddly vehicle :sly:

Well I can't handle the 66kw of mine, beat that!

Wait, I beat it, technically it's not my vehicle (well, no technically about it...), but this was by far the worst colour I've ever seen a car in.

The picture doesn't do it justice, it was pink, but not bright pink, but kinda the pink that your mum would paint her bathroom with.

There was a dyno day around here about a year ago that was giving out a prize for lowest dyno. Probably to rake in money from people who wouldn't normally dyno their POS. I think around 45whp was the lowest.

^Well mine is 70BHP stock, plus factor in that it's got 190K on the clock, and I put in the cheapest oil on the shelf, I could probably come close, but what's to say nobody is sandbagging? Also, how about a highest dyno day?

I REALLY need to get a dyno done as a new mod was added to my car!

It's an imprint of a Honda Civic rear bumper! Hellz ya!
He put it on my passenger side door last week.
I'm tellin ya, the good ol'trusty ass dyno is registering off the charts now that a Civic has graced my car with it's touch.

They actually caught one guy with cardboard in his intake box so it wouldn't be able to suck in much air. The lowest hp was kind of a goof thing, they had highest hp as well. My car won second highest import hp to an rx7 drag car. And he only revved it high enough to beat me with like 500hp.

I'll be dynoing my car in the near future as soon as my latest mod goes in. I'll post the dyno charts!

I reckon I could win the lowest power contest, I'll be lucky if my poor little 998cc Mini engine's producing more than 60BHP at the moment?

Good job I've got a 1275GT unit sitting out in the garage waiting to be played with this winter. ;)

Darren.

YOUR car made 500HP, or the drag car did? And was that WHP?

Nice shot's Falango. 👍

That carbon looks nice in the dark and I love the pic at the lights. Some nice work there.

Darren.

I love your protege! What bulbs are you using up front there for those that're on?

'97 30th Anniversary Camaro SS. 1 of 100 with an LT4 left over from the '96 Corvette Grand Sport. $17,000+ in factory options. 330hp.

I got a new car on Friday...

It is a Renault Clio 1.6 Dynamique with keyless entry and climate control. Compared to my previous car the thing handles beautifuly although the electronic power steering makes it feel like a video game... no jokes.

Anyway below is a (bad) photo of it.

Nice ride Kart! I should post a couple pics of me with my lil' Honda sometime :)

I just sent my qualification info, so I'll be starting with this week's race in the Alpine.

I drive a '99 Civic Si in "real life." It's my daily driver and weekend autoxer.

Mods:
Skunk2 short shifter & knob
Skunk2 adjustable cam gears
TODA timing belt
Skunk2 Stage 1 cams, dual valve springs & titanium retainers
Skunk2 ITR intake manifold
DC headers
HKS Hi-Power exhaust
JG Edelbrock throttle body
Fluidine "thicker than a mofo" radiator
Tein Basic coilovers
Suspension Techniques 22" rear sway bar
Assortment of Skunk2 and Megan Racing strut tower and lower braces

There's more, but I don't remember it all now.

The car's running in SM nowadays, what with the hotter cams and all. I'm going to have to step up my skills if I ever hope to be competitive in that class.

Sweeeeeeeeet!

I bet some larger, more expensive rubber would help too(larger's allowed in SM, isn't it?)... I guess that would require bodywork though... What're you running? 205-50s?

Oh, and I think you meant 22mm for the rear bar. ;)

Yes, 22mm, sorry.

Yeah, I'm running 205 50s now. I could go a little wider as the fenders were rolled by the previous owner, but I want to get more seat time before upping the grip. That way I'm not covering my mistakes with good tires, you know?

Absolutely! :)

What's next in terms of mods to the car, other than increasing driver skill? 👍

'91 CRX DX

mods:
D16Z6 SOHC VTEC engine swap
Si transmission (shorter final drive)
intake
cat back exhaust
Tein adjustable coilovers
Momo steering wheel (just about the size of DFP :-)
17x7.5 wheels with 205x40 tires

pics - http://www.pazouti.com/CRX/

oh yeah, and I have another Honda - 2001 CBR 929RR Fireblade. 150hp, 170kg :-)

That's a nice car, CRXnut. Super clean!

Absolutely! :)

I'd like to upgrade from the Tein Basics to a coilover that allows spring preload and ride-height to be adjusted seperately, as well as dampening adjustment.

I'm also looking at replacing my stock b16a2 bottom end with a b18 from a GSR. Now that I'm in SM I can do that, and the extra tourque would be a blessing.

Of course, my brother just got his 4-door GSR back from the shop last night, though. He had a very nice turbo setup installed. My head is nice, but after driving his, I'm not sure my head on a b18c is going to be enough. Back to the drawing board, I guess.
