Those are some nice Hondas boys...I'm a big Honda fan đź‘Ť
YOUR car made 500HP, or the drag car did? And was that WHP?
I got a new car on Friday...
It is a Renault Clio 1.6 Dynamique with keyless entry and climate control. Compared to my previous car the thing handles beautifuly although the electronic power steering makes it feel like a video game... no jokes.
Oh I forgot about a GT-R badge! It would probably give my car 4WD too right! If you put a Type-R badge on the front, the air will flow in faster, because, like idiots, it is attracted to cool, red badges that have nothing to do with the car. And a GT-R makes the car accellerate quicker because it's got ATTESSA.
And are you planning on some Brembo stickers?
...the most important thing is a neon in the boot (10HP SuperT?)
Ahhh, yes...
I'm off to test out some new LED valve caps to see if I can get my 0-60 time down?

3rd postagree with your point, but the car is a little quicker than the standard SXi and so I felt the SRi badges were appropriate. It only carries 1 person, Me. It has no extra weight in the car, all glove compartments, cubby holes and the boot is empty. The rear exhaust may or may not add power. It has only ever run on Optimax, I know you get more boost out if this fuel on bigger engined cars but every little helps. The tyres are always inflated to 38 PSI to give extra grip and less tyre slouch. Often I put the rear seats flat, this reduces weight. (Like why you crawl flat across a frozen pond so as not to break the ice). I regularly drive with around ÂŁ10 of fuel, again weight saving, and often I use engine cleaner in the fuel load to remove debris from the fuel injectors. The car is always clean improving aerodynamic progress. I have timed the 0 - 60 at 9.3 seconds, and this shaves a couple of seconds off the standard time. Hope this answers your question.
Dear Both of you...
I am fully aware the car is not a performance car, It was never intended to be and I don't even consider it nippy let alone a "track weapon".
My points, although you disagree, do have some weight to them, but the jesticular manners of your replies indicate that despite whatever points I make you obviously know better.
The rear seat thing, It is rare that I fold them down, but it has to be said that when folded they remove a bit of weight. Vertical seats exert more downward force because the energy is focused on a smaller surface area. When horizontal, the weight is spread and so is less per Centimetre squared.
With this post I am starting to regret ever joining this thing. If you read my posts you will see I am a normal Vauxhall owner with an interest in cars and driving. I certainly treat other forum members with respect and have an open mind about people's opinions.
Rear tyres - $460.00

What would a smiley on a spring stuck to the dash add to the BHP? It's basically one of these> about the size of a golf ball on a one inch spring which wobbles around a lot on my stiffened Mini suspension.
I reckon it's only 2 or 3 BHP as I'm new to this kind of tuning?
ColbWheel alignment - $60.00
I haven't seen that model in Australia before?!?
It would have to add at least 4? Depends how big it is, get one tennis ball sized and you've got 8hp.
How about my Mario hanging from my window? I'm thinking 2hp, 3hp if he gets the flower fire-ball thing power up, 5hp if he turns into a raccoon...
