I think that may actually be a souped up version of an extremely early GT2, because SSR5 on that video is actually SSR11, but I'll save this for the GT2 forum.

Unfortunately it is still unfinished, very dissapointing, especially after seeing the screenshots I posted on page 36:

They only show only the first segment of the track from what I noticed, maybe they were still working on it for a few months, but had no time to put it in. When MattJ and EncounterGTR showed those two demos I only saw only some minor differences.

So, it was still incomplete when the Store Volume 2 was in stores, just not many people noticed at all.

And now it's late reply time!

Remember when I said this?
Still would be cool to see both versions of Super Speedway in GT3 at the same time. :)
You probably don't, because that was on June 21st. Well about a week ago now, EncounterGTR did find Super Speedway '00s in the Store Demo Volume 2, a demo where Super Speedway '90s is playable by default. So my dream from June 21st 2016 has been a reality since 2001, but no one found out until November 2016.

Makes me want to get my new PC as soon as possible since the possibilities of modding a GT game can be very endless, if you know what you are doing with the hex digits and all. Maybe someone should make some sort of modding program for the main executable file or something.

Sorry for bumping, but I'd just like to say that I was looking at the GT3 trailer and it had both the #51 Viper and Diablo GT. That means there are two possibilities:
  1. The trailer was recorded on multiple versions of the game.
  2. The Diablo's body has to be in the files for the PAL version somewhere.

They're recorded in NTSC-J version only. ;)

The Diablo GT also is hidden in the North American version of GT3. I would try it myself in GT3 as I do have a Gameshark disc, but the codes for PS2 games are so damn long and I keep entering them wrong. The Diablo GT is in GT5 and 6 now, so I don't really sweat it much.

Wish I can get a translation.
Even this is too much for me to translate. The Google Translate app might help though. You can take pictures of words and translate them. It's not completely accurate, but it might be enough.

Edit: I think it has a mic feature too. If it's small bits I can translate.

Here's EncounterGTR's latest findings in the Store Demo:

The funny thing is, I predicted it to be in this stage, especially after posting a comment on the first hidden track video about 3 weeks ago. I love predicting things correctly. :D

And the Zonda used in that video as well... it has the beta sound yet it also has fixed the brake lights, which means the brake light isn't located in the rear grille like in the OPS2M demo, another thing I envisioned not too long before the video came out... again I love predicting stuff and it turns out true... :D
