So this is what happens when you're not busy running the NASCAR series... :sly:

Haha. Hate to admit but slightly true.

To be honest, my social life has taken a slight up turn so I've been unable to do as much series running as I could but Saturday nights are always study nights.

Two years is seen as okay in my school.. I've seen worse go without much comment tbh..

I personally at this age wouldn't go below 15, just for the ease of mind. If I was with a 14 year old girl it's just feel wrong..

The amount of embarrassment I get is awful. My friend is trying to hook us up but its so wrong, awkward and funny.

Its a good love problem to have as far as I'm concerned.

Might be a slight exaggeration of her looks but she looks a little like this.

If you know Nascar girlfriends then you'll know who she is.

15 years old, Katharina, basement party at a friends house.

Wasn't bad, dated her for 3 years.

@Chqr, if I was in your position, i'd be like, " Actually, why fancy? When I already have your mother all over me. " I feel your pain bro

If I was in Chqr's position I would..

She's seemingly from the comparison photo, not bad at all.. :dopey:

Do any of you guys find it annoying when there is a couple next to you in public that are all over each other?

Sometimes I stand real close to them to make them uncomfortable.

Me and my friend were just talking about that at school the other day. that's funny. I'll yet that next time.

This is a requirement of mine. Will not date girls taller than me. And I'm 5'6", so...

5'9" and for some reason, it feels like a little bit more than half of the girls at my school are same height or more.

Give ya'll some advice. This mindset is cute in high school. Once these girls get out in the real world, they're going to be dumped like flies if they stick to it. Men don't want trophy wives when they realize they can't support both of them; they want women who can give back into the relationship financially. And the girls who don't believe they have to are superficial idiots who aren't wife material anyway.

Makes sense, it is something that you do become tired of in high school. Especially not my type of girl who depends on me to do the paying, though it feels somewhat polite in a way. :boggled: Thanks for the future advice. :D

What I don't get is when high schoolers are so shocked when people more than a grade or year of age apart date. I used to date a freshman as a senior, but she was only a year younger than me due to me skipping a grade and her starting late. Every time anyone said anything, I would just remind them that my parents are five years apart. Five. That's the equivalent of a high school freshman dating a college freshman. So this whole "eww, but he's like, WAYYY older than you" mindset is just stupid.

I do laugh at how age is viewed in at the high school level. My parents are four years apart and yet four years is viewed as a huge gap in high school... There's also parents with that mindset for such things as their daughters dating college guys.

Because a 4 year difference in your 20s when puberty is over with, legal drinking age is met, and maturity levels are starting to stabilize is a lot different than having a 17 year old in grade 11 dating a 2nd year college student who is out drinking every weekend... A grade 8 kid should not be dating a grade 12. It's a lot different when you get older and passed high school.

What really sucks is being hit on by a mom at work... Ugh. I'll be 21 shortly here and she has a daughter 3 years younger. She has called herself a cougar many times already and it's pretty uncomfortable. She is double my age. Now that's a long ways apart.

My dad & my stepmom: 14 years apart. He's 58.

Me & my girlfriend: 3 years apart. I'm 27.

If I had a daughter & she'd date an 18 year old guy when she's 15: *loading shotgun*

It all depends on how old you & your partner are.

Lucid dreaming is the ability to fully control your dreams.. Like 100% power in your dream to change it willy-nilly..

I kbow that but that doesn't answer my question. So I can get a kiss I'm a dream, that's not going to help.

Apparently.. You don't attempt this until you are extremely tired.. Then, lie very still with your eyes closed but resist all urges to sleep.. After a while of fighting the urges to sleep, you feel a relieving pressure from your chest.. You are now asleep and on full control of your dreams.. I may be wrong in some details.. But google it if you want :)

Can someone tell me how to lucid dream? It's something i've been wanting to accomplish for a couple of months now.

How do you Lucid dream? I've always wanted to!

There are quite a few techniques. In my case the most effective was to take a look at my hands from time to time. In reality, you (most likely) have two beautiful hands, five fingers each, they look basically the same. In a dream, your hands may have some missing or additional fingers, their shapes may be strange and so on.

A few weeks ago I had a dream about my already resting in peace dog. I looked at my hands and I was missing the left index. I freaked out like hell, but didn't wake up :D Strangely, the dream ended and that's the last thing I remember from it.

Tonight, my ring finger was three times shorter than it normally is, but I remained calm (after a slight shock of course) :D I had a lucid dream!!!

Anyway, you must remember to look at your hands from time to time - let it become a little habit. After some time, you will look at your hands during a dream.

Plus, remember to think/say to yourself "I'm having a lucid dream tonight." I know it sounds ridiculous, but it might be helpful. And don't be disheartened when you fail - I always wanted to lucid dream; especially after I read a few guides on how to do this about two months ago. From then on, I had like 3 or 4 lucid dreams.

Just one more thing - think of the results! The feeling of being in a lucid dream is unbelievable, it's so worth trying! :D

I hope this helps

My dreams just go the way I want them too.. Until the best bits about to happen and then I wake up :grumpy:

I find it hard enough to sleep without looking at my hands anyway :dopey:

Gonna try it tonight for the craic (Irish term, not the drug.) :)

But I mean when you lucid dream, when your actually in one, say I wanted a mustang, and the girl i love right in front of me, how?

Everything shows up at your will :D

Yes, it's that easy. Play God himself, point at a bus stop and tell that 'stang to show up in there AT ONCE!

So basically a lucid dream is just having the ability to imagine stuff you want to happen in your sleep?

A lucid dream is controlling what you say,do,act in your dream, imagine what you want in your dream.

It's like your in your own reality, literally.
