If all I'm getting this week is VGT cars I won't complain. Today's prizes were Lamborghini Veneno, Nissan GT-R LM Nismo and a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, all of which I already own.

Not sure if anyone else does this...

You try your best NOT to buy any cars with credits (*unless you just started playing from zero today), but instead you anxiously wait for a gift car everyday. And with that car, you make the most of it in races applicable to the vehicle group.

e.g. I got the 1988 Supra, but forcing myself to race alongside the newer and faster Supras in that Supra-exclusive series.

Daily Workout #703- BMW Z4 GT3 2011 (521st double) Although this car was the best of the four, I´m not that satisfied with it, because it had the Lancia Stratos, and the Ferrari 365 GTB4, which was the first of the four recently released cars to appear on me.....

Week XXVI:

24/09 – Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.Final '15 ["Lightning Blue Mica"]
25/09 – Chevrolet Corvette C7 Gr.4 [Blue]
26/09 – Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.Final Gr.4 [Blue]
27/09 – Peugeot RCZ GT Line '15 ["Noir Perla Nera"]
28/09 – Dallara SF19 Super Formula/Toyota '19
29/09 – Audi R8 4.2 '07 ["Daytonagrau Perleffekt/Quarzgrau Metallic"]
30/09 – Ferrari 458 Italia Gr.4 [Red]

Struck-through entries denote dupes.

If this week did anything to me, it was reinforce the impression that the game really prioritizes cars you already have in your garage. Having just hit 180 logged days, I have been gifted 153 different cars, with some being given only by Driving School/Mission Challenges, which are either fixed or biased towards specific categories. Not once I was gifted:

- Anything above Cr2,000,000;
- Anything Gr.2;
- Anything Red Bull;
- Any Audi TT, Renault Clio or the F1500T-A.

I had never gotten the SF19 up until two weeks ago, and the game magically decided I needed a second unit of the exact Toyota version I recently got? Something feels fishy here, as the same happened to the W08 and Bugatti VGT.

I’ve played every gran turismo game like this

Thought I'd try gaining the miles in the "beginner league" to see if that might improve my fortune (and the get quicker mileage points)......'65 Mini Cooper S...... :indiff:
I did that too. Ended up getting a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.

My idea is to buy all vanilla cars and get the cars available throught updates from the daily prize. If that works as expected, it's a perfect deal for me.

What's a "vanilla car"? :dunce:

Mazda Atenza Gr. 3. Was hoping for something special as it didn't give me anything when I'd clocked the miles. When switched PS4 back on, did the update and then the wheel came up...... but, no, nothing special.

Daily Workout #706- Alpine A110 Première Édition 2017 (523rd double) Nothing good, except for the Epson NSX, which I already own, and about the new Intro, it´s better than the original one......

I just had to take a picture after tonight's run. I'm not sure if my description here would be enough. :lol:

Last week was pretty good. I hit the $20 mil mark and bought the 330 P4. Got an X2014, Huracan and Mach Forty for my mileage. Got a nice surprise for my birthday, the Super GT GT-R, my first of that kind. Then came this week...I mentioned the Walkenhorst M6's earlier in the week. Inbetween, I got a blah MX-5 Roadster (I didn't check to see how many I have, but it's quite a few). Then two 458's in a row, one being a racing version. Finally came last night. I was happy with the Roadster Touring Car. It was, after all, my first. Then came tonight. Roadster Touring Car. :ouch: Overall this week consisted of 2 M6's, 2 458's, and 3 Roadsters. Fantastic. :boggled:

By the time the update copied over for me it was 1140, so I stuck around and did both day's workouts before bedtime. I'm glad I did as my first one was a Countach 25th Anniversary and today's was a 2008 Xanavi Gr.2 Skyline, which I will use to recreate the Concept GTR LM from GT Concept through to GT6.
