I'm pretty sure those are called Tiergartens. Not a German student or anything, but I'll take a crack at it and say that means "Three Gardens" in English.

Those turns are very fun if you get your braking right, otherwise, well :mischievous:

It's Tiergarten, which means, basically, "Zoo".

hey
lol, turbo lag, your sig is pretty cool.
Anyways, I like the High Speed Ring's first and last corners,
The curve AFTER the corkscrew at Laguna Seca.,
That one at Special Stage Route 5 near the part where you have two roads to separate it from the clubman track. (the middle split) and
The big bumpy hill on El Capitan after the tunnel on the Normal version of the track.

That's all I can think of now.....

I think the consecutive hairpins ar pretty cool, on costa di amalfi, the license test with the little FR cars...
But i think my ocverall favorite is TC sweeper, I always have room ot improve there, plus I mangaged to drift it many times in a nearly stock AE86 in forza.
Also, in the wet challenge, it was just a matter on ow much guts you had, to slow down as late as possible n it. Very fun, very big, easy to take, hard to master.

Good Squires And Knights Of GT4,
Mine favorite set of curves are those of milady, the ones that run from her ankle to her shoulder.
Sorry, you know me, I just had to:)
As Always
Fangio

I'd have to say Porsche Curves on Circuit de la Sarthe (the slalom-like curves before the final chicanes), i would say the Mulsanne Straight, but it's not a curve.

Probably the 2 continous hairpins near the Start/Finish of Capri (Costa di Amalfi)

i can follow the line greatly with a 4WD, and when you start powersliding through them, oh the fun that can be had 👍

Turns 10, 11, and 12 on El Captain ( Normal )... everyone i play with overshoots or slowsdown too much on turn s 10 and 11, passing them on the inside is so much fun. :sly:

I'm currently loving that whole downhill section at El Capitan where you come out of the tunnel and the Ai cars get all scared and start to brake! :scared: WIMPS!

Least favorite curve: OH man i for some reason HATE the final curve at Tsukuba. (the one they made a license test out of). :grumpy: 👎 Even when i do it well it still makes me nervous.

That, is exactly what I love, it's so touchy :D

Holy thread resurrection batman!

(The opening curve to the main Sarthe straight)

My dad's nickname is batman.

And my favorite curve is my girlfriend's, but seriously it is turn 5 at midfield. I call this the sweeper going backwards because when you drift it the car goes downhill and sweeps the turn.

OK, let's see....

The hairpin and chicane on Suzuka
Every turn in the Nurburgring
The long first sweeper on Fuji 80's

That's all so far... I'll edit if I remember any more.

:-)

I prefer the Laguna Seca Corscrew, too. great passing curve too, just ram the opponents at a high speed to pass and blow by them.

That's NOT "passing". That's "cheating".

Especially fun if your in a RWD car which likes to drift.

The bit in red is my favorite sequence of curves. I cant pick out one particular curve as my favorite because part of what makes a curve so fun is what comes straight after it or what was before it.

El Capitan. The uphill S which leads to the extended left hander onto the pit straight. :)

This whole section in red is so much fun, especially when you push the car to its limit.

Cheating??? no it falls within the game's rules, and I don't need a GS or CB to do it. Anyway in real racing they bump and scrape for position all the time, is that cheating???

Also it is just playing the numbers, you hit them to pass, they slide to the outside hopfully taking out another car, and slows the whole pack down while I zip past at twice their speed.

FYI - There is no car damages in the game so it falls under the rules of the game. Call it strategy

Try it in a LAN game.

Yes, it is considered cheating.

just about every racing rule book
Punting on the track:
If you attempt to pass another driver and tag them during your pass, gaining an advantage, allow them to regain the position, even if it means you lose positions to drivers not involved in the incident. Basically, if you can't pass cleanly, do not pass at all.
1st infringment - A Black Flag will be issued for a Stop / Go unless you re-address on the track.
2nd infringment - A compulsory Black Flag (Stop/Go penalty to be served within 2 laps)
3rd infringment - You may be ejected (disqualified) from that race.

back on topic...

Q: Your favourite curve?

A: Schwedenkreuz

No, it's not playing the numbers, it's cheating.

Bumping and scraping is not "ramming them and then flying past at twice their speed". Rubbing is one thing. Try punting a few real people in a race - even a LAN race, let alone in actual metal - and you'll find out how many friends you have: zero.

If you're not interested in RACING, why bother playing this game at all?

The game is fun thats why I race, so are you telling me you never ran Rome Circuit just riding the walls on all the turns? Wouldn't that be against your Racing Code? No Car Damage, of course I wouldn't do that in "actual metal" I'd kill myself and others (But those crashes would be spactacular, smashing into a front fender at 200MPH) lol

Against CPU AI I have no problem with Rubbing Out or blatently crashing into cars. Sometimes I'll hit a CPU Car just because I'm up 2 Laps and he was simply there.

Remember it's only a video game, it's not reality.

P.S. - Hybridding a 600,000HP 4WD Cobra in GT3, would be cheating!
And I did that too!
Why? Because I could! Even though I can't control it on the test track; Yet.
