I see the driver's helmet/head.

You ca see the drivers helmet in standard cars too, in GT4 also.

AE86 is an iconic drift car, no way PD will leave it standard when you have other classic JDM cars being confirmed as premium already. Ie why is an EK and EG civic more worthy than an AE86, if this is not the case?

Not saying the AE86 wont become premium in GT5 but I don't think that one in the FT86 video is. Nothing in that picture confirms it as premium and watching the video in motion doesn't help it either.

This means that no matter what car you drive, they will all feel the same quality, at least if you don't care about cockpit view. The main area where the differences will be most noticeable is in replay mode...not something I bother with too much either.

Unfortunately I am very much about the cockpit view... and that is in no small part due to GT5P and how well implimented it was there. So it's kind of like a taste just to get you hooked and then yanking the carpet out from under me for a good bit of it....

But yes, if cockpit view isn't important to you, then you get solid break.

What if they count each NASCAR as separate Premium car? I think PD did that before with sports cars.

...and 10 different R34 Skylines, all with the same exterior...
Those are a little different, in that they at least have functional differences, albeit minute ones. The JGTC cars (at least the way that they have been presented in GT games in the past) and Sprint Cup cars don't.

I'm really glad that some JDM classics are premium. But it makes you wonder. What if the 10 GTR R34s did have similar but different interior view. ~Mind ****~

That is not true. Besides the actual mechanical differences between teams, each driver has different positioned steering wheel, mirrors, etc. So making each car replicate each particular driver's certain likings would be grounds to consider it a different car model possibly.

I expect an AE86 to be premium. The car is too much of a japanese icon to not be one.
Your having a laugh again Davey :yuck:

What percentage of cars, specifically premiums in this case, should be in a prologue?
99% of cars where premium in prologue, apart from the Gtr prototype.

So this doesnt mean to have 10 Skyline ,5 nascars and 4 lancers with cockpits, its sad.👎

The GTR 2005 concept in Prologue is also premium, it doesn't have a interior because the real one didn't.

Actually its a very insightful post that has stated exactly what has gone wrong with the Forza franchise. And the effect thereof.

If you call dillusion insightful, well then good luck :sly:

I do laugh at being called a fanboy. I can guarantee I have trebled the number of hrs I have played Forza 2 & 3 compared to you.

Of course,

If your such a fan of Forza how come i've never met you online or seen your name on any leaderboards?

Why, I should have met EVERYONE online? There are millions of people, thousands playing it daily. I don't remember every name, yet you do? I wish I was you then!

You know its about time you faced reality. The loyal support for Turn 10 is dwindling fast and this is largely due to the decisions made by Turn 10. Now you probably won't find many negative posts on Forza.net because the mods instantly delete them. However I can guarantee when the UE was announced it was bedlum on Forza.net.

My loyalty of the GT and Forza franchise is great because I love their games. You can't change my opinion about these great games. But thanks for offering.

Don't get me wrong

Oh, we don't get you wrong ;)

I'd suggest you don't take that member's comments too seriously. A brief run-in with them on the Forza section has told me they're simply so insecure regarding the quality of the game they're circle jerking that they've become accustomed throw a strop at anyone with so much as a bad word for it. I even recall them claiming Gran Turismo 5 will have "no physics," whatever the hell that's supposed to imply. 👎

Who are you again? Poor infamous gets the beat down in the Forza section, so he heads to the GT section to pull the same stunts. Gotta love it. :)

Don't worry Bogie, it's not uncommon for people who put themselves about the Forza world to feel like they're some sort of celebrity and Forza would be nothing without them.

True. I would hate to be one of them...sounds kinda sad. Same goes for GT. Why would they want to be like that?

yep.

The closest we can get to seeing the Standard cars in GT5 is to play the GTHD demo, and imagine the windows to be tinted really dark.

I had a look at the Forza 3 online numbers the other day, at a friends house.

It said there were 48 players online

Just fired the Xbox up after reading that, there are currently 698 people online*. Still not a lot, but it fits in with "thousands" over the course of a day.

I assume your 48 was at some weird time when the US, Europe and Japan are all sleeping. Of course it's possible that you only checked the top lobby on the list, which does usually have around 50 people in, or perhaps you just made up a number for the lulz...

*In the standard public lobbies. There's no way of knowing how many others are racing online in private lobbies of course.

When I was last on a week ago, it was about 1200  And that was at that moment. All day long is obviously more.

Nah, he looked in a hopper for the least possible number of players.

I think PD made a mistake making 10 skyline trim "premium" it is an iconic car but i would hate to see 5 R34 spec V n V2 or nur spec being premium when one r34 premium would be enough if that is the case...

same for Honda civic and other cars occupying extra space

6 civic eg of different year when they all the same lil hatch
instead of making coupes/4doors etc

where is the 4th generation civic

EF civic SiR ????

there is alot of the same trim cars repeated and for me is a down fall i think

Until I see which cars are premium with cockpit view, I'll just wait like Mark Webber :) or Play F1 2010 :)

That is unbelievably low!!! Even on PS3, MW2 has at least 200,000 people online at any given time. Xbox 360 must be at least double that.
