The Golf I is one of my favorite cars to modify and drive in the game. It's to bad that VW decided that adding several hundred kilos to its cars somehow made them better. Instead of having lightweight slightly underpowered cars that were fun to drive in real life you got pudgy underpowered cars that drive like tanks.
At least companies like Audi and Volvo figured out early on that if your car was going to be a bit on the hefty side they needed a healthy dose of HP to keep driving them enjoyable.

My mate just dug me outta the hole. He's sent me a clean one with only 890 miles on the clock. He's a bit OCD about the UCD, if you know what I mean This one is in Tangerine and in honour of my mate, I'm leaving it that colour. All his online motors are Orange of one form or another, The Tangerine Terror

Just as a note...since no 4WD entries have been submitted as of yet, I've put down that a Torque Distributing Centre Differential will be required for them. Probably won't affect proceedings too much hopefully.

Also (but only for my benefit really), as I've decided on a kind of rally 'schedule' to test the cars on, I've added the Nurburgring Nordschleife and its variants to the allowed circuits. Also I've added Tokyo Bay courses to the allowed courses, although that's only really for 'Power Stage' style runs.

New Toscana track up as well. It's a 6 miler+.

It 'll give a top speed (above on the right) of 238 km/h = 148 mph

Done, the car is same power and weight than the "MINI-Countryman-WRC". The car is very different now, heavy, not so fun to drive, but this is the best i can do. To make closer as possible as the MINI-Countryman-WRC , we still need a lot, this car is 1690mm width WRC= 1820mm and 3655mm long WRC= 4110mm. So here it is, good luck to testers. Have fun.

Even though I love the Alpine from ToCA Race Driver 3, I've always been scared to drive it in GT5, since it was **** in GT4 (crashed so many times in Costa Di Amalfi with it that's not even funny)

Just to let everyone know, I created tracks on Liége (Gravel), Alaska (Snow), Tokyo Bay (Kart), Mt Aso (Tarmac) and Toscana (Tarmac) with the name "ZedTune Rally Shootout" and a number ranging thru 1 to 5. They're use the same aspects (just Tokyo Bay don't use the Corner Banked Angle):

-4 sectors
-1st sector with Complexity 0, Road Width 5, Sharpness -5 and Corner Banked Angle 10
-2nd sector with Complexity 5, Road Width 0, Sharpness 0 and Corner Banked Angle 5
-3rd and 4th sector with Complexity 10, Road Width -5, Sharpness 5 and Corner Banked Angle 0.

I'm sharing them with everyone so you guys can have a comparision with someone else along with the tracks on the game

Funny I was a bit jealous of your Alpine.
Really don't care for the newer EVOs. Love the '83 but they've all been downhill since then as far as I'm concerned.
Didn't help my mood any when I got the specs from C-ZETA and found out that pre break-in and with no oil change I was already over the HP limit and according to the then rules needed to add at a minimum the titanium racing exhaust. Luckily C-ZETA changed requirements so I could put just a sports exhaust on but still using a lot more power limiter than I'd like, although nothing like the amount your having to use.
Drives real good, just doesn't seem to have any soul. It's most fun on the snow, but even there its fun because of its insane speed and control, not because its sliding around making you work it.
Oh well it is what it is, at least I found a Mitsubishi color for it your not likely to see very often!

C-ZETA actually gave me the specs for a different Alpine. RJ has the correct specs which I think is closer to 175bhp? I'm not arsed enough to change it though.

I think you have the best car so far because it's an Evo!
