I did a lot better than I thought I would.
In Tokyo, I decided to try to stick to the top guys without taking any unnecessary risks and trying not to make mistakes. Tokyo is definitely not my favourite track, I feel like I just can't get the flow right. At some point, @

Third Reign got a bit too close to each other in the high speed chicane and I could tell they were going to go too wide so I went for a slow in/fast out approach, which proved to be a good choice, although Daddyo flew across the track right in front of me, I had to brake a bit but I managed to squeeze through. Not sure how close I got to Third Reign but I didn't feel any contact. 3rd place was quite a gift but I was pleased with my consistency. I was glad I didn't make a mess of turn 1.
At Fuji, there was some very close racing again, I thought Third Reign would fly past me but I quickly realised that I was doing quite ok, especially in the middle sector. He finally got past me, though, and once I was behind, I did my first mistake of the night in turn 1, by braking just before the 150m mark, as usual, but forgetting I was going a bit faster because of the draft, so I missed the corner and didn't manage to avoid Third Reign (apologies for that). In the same lap, he went one wheel over the grass and gifted me 3rd place yet again. I felt bad about it...
In the 3rd race, it looks like some were not going as fast as they could, at first, in the right hander after the bridge. It helped me reach 2nd then 1st place. I'm annoyed I did my 2nd mistake of the night (spin in turn 1) because I could have been right up there fighting for the victory, in an epic 5 horse race. Well, that's what I'm telling myself...
High Speed Ring is definitely not the most technical track but it does its job at providing some close racing. Third Reign did extremely well to catch up with the lead.
