Speaking of the electric cars. We will be racing the tesla roadster in about a month :D. I bet you'll enjoy that @KingKlingeling, although I don't like not being able to shift, at least the cars pretty quick. I just don't enjoy driving slow cars like the Prius around unless I have the ability to shift.

I enjoy the full electric cars , they have only one gear ,so it doesn't matter if at or mt
just the cars that comes with an at stock don't fit my ears while downshifting , sounds like a slipping clutch all the time

Trust me, when you get used to it, you will never want to go back. Do you want some help mr white? I can't make any promises but I may have time this weekend to help you out if you want.

Il have a good practice through the week daddyo, if i get stuck il let you you know if its ok? il be watching the masters all this weekend to be honest (minus lazy tiger woods missing it :banghead: heres hoping he makes the open)

ive a feeling it will take me a few weeks to get used to, theres a post somewere on here about how someone bit by bit got rid of all the aids in the game and made himself loads of seconds quicker a lap.

Soon i expect to be poached my Ferrari il be that good :D

I really want to get to try that new tesla sports sedan? Or was it a coupe? Anyway I think it has like 400 horses coming from an electric car sounds awesome. I had a quick taste of the fisker but I want to buy it and try it out. I wonder how they will compete?

That sounds good @MrWhite1972

Also random question but what is it like to take abs off? I usually run at abs set to 1

I have difficulty trying to hear the downshifts in some cars, especially online. Is this a fault with the game?

I have abs off, on all cars that didn't have it.

Best thing is to try yourself. :)

I know @cobrius doesn't use ABS. He would be able to describe it nicely.
I tried once, and while there's a greater risk of losing it in a beautiful skid, you can feel a bit more the weight of the car and its behaviour.

Have a practice daddyo, just be a little gentle on the brake:D

Drove RUF, thought this car would be a killer, but its quite good to drive:)
Just Willow Springs I'm having trouble with, this is challenging track:guilty: Not the fastest, most corners are 2, 3 gear. Prefer the other layout:lol:

Hi just wondering If I can join in the next race? I've completed all licences gold and feel I have nothing left to make the game offline interesting. So I would like to do some online racing.

Thanks for your interest in the Zero Cup!

Would this be your first online racing?
Don't take offence but we are keen on fair and clean racing and have noticed that new online drivers sometimes tend to treat other drivers like AI drivers (which usually doesn't go down too well...) so we tend to be cautious. Have you read the Rule Book and OLR? Do you have any question?

The next Zero Cup event won't be until the 21st but please check here if some of us will announce some practice session (to the regular drivers, please let Cobra know if you're going to do some practice). It would be good for one of us to see how you're doing.

EDIT:

Rule Book updated: the starting grid formation procedure has been adjusted. Basically, everyone goes on track at the same time and put themselves in the correct order.

Yeah this will be my first for online racing. I have tried against randoms but they always hit me when going around a corner. Or there's always a Tsukuba Aus lobby of people drifting. I try to be a clean driver when possible even against the AI but sometimes the AI are stupid and don't even seem to know that ive taken that line first. My timezone is GMT+10 so what time would the races be on in Aus? Ill probably have to practice the starts if they are going to be rolling starts.

Always welcome, just read the rules and you should ok.

Practice in the RUF, so you know how it handles.

I don't mind, once you've confirmed you've done what is required of you and prove it in a simple way. Finding out what is required of you really shouldn't be hard at all.

@Litchi, now there's a name I haven't heard for a while. Good to see you again.
Yea, good to see you too :). Well, I had to stop GT about 6 months ago due to my move in a new house, new work etc. I bought GT6 past week and I can play online since yesterday ;)

And the new gtplanet layout looks great!

Btw, should I add someone as a friend or not?

You can find the answer yourself by reading what there is to read... ;)

Well, glad to see that Chloe helped for the RuleBook and good idea for the algorythm, i would have never thought myself lol.
And I'll add you as soon as I set my PS3 on.

btw, it's been over six months that I did not speak English, hope everything that I say is understandable.

Will
