Il be there also, ive just tried the tracks, il be using manual for the first time as the cars pretty simple to drive, im still driving slower than auto when i use manual so expect the usual placing from me....only worse....i need to force myself to get used to it.

Good luck to France later 👍 as ive got Benzema to be top scorer

Well someone's made the most of the absence of some people and the noticeable lack of practice of others. I'm sure this winning streak will end as abruptly as it started. And a lot less surprisingly... The Yellow Flags in race 2 and 3 helped A LOT...

And talking about Yellow Flags, it was quite nice to see that we can go through consecutive GYF procedures without any tears. That was perfect, well done everyone.

I also would like to say welcome again to our 2 new drivers, @Cu3e (aka Bergele) and @Whitey093 , who have a pace similar to a number of us, so it can only make the upcoming races even more exciting. And everyone noticed your very gentlemanly driving. Everything we like!

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the yellow flags but I really like them. Its way better to reset the field and maintain close, exciting racing than to spread out and run alone. Was really debating race 3 whether to do it since 2nd and 3rd were so close but behind 3rd people had dropped way back so it made sense. An added touch of realism and excitement for sure.

Yeah you're right warrius those yf really did help considering I was way out in front in race 2 :P. But no seriously people were starting to spread out and someone spun out iirc. I was glad to do it. Even though I gave up my first and probably only victory I would've ever gotten in this series. It's not about winning though, I know that and we all know that. I think my favorite was on cape ring though it was pretty close and I had a good time trying to hunt you down @WarriusZero. Overall I had a wonderful time. Thanks again warrius.

Does anyone know a good car to practice manual in. I know there are some cars where the gear ratios are weird. There are also cars like the autozam where it's quicker to shift before you reach the higher rpms.

Just took some practice laps to get a feel for the g35 concept on each track. Deep forest and eiger short are pretty straightforward, however I strongly encourage everyone to get some laps at ascari. It is so easy to mess up and go off track, way off track. And if you're uncomfortable or unsure, you're going to be braking too early and causing a lot of issues so make sure to get your time in here.

For reference, after 5 laps on each track in a free run lobby I made with correct track settings, this is where I stand:
DF Reverse- 1:28.3
Ascari full- 2:26.1
Eiger short- 1:14.6

Hopefully I'll get more laps by the event and those times will drop but that's my starting point.

Whitey, did you notice the Eiger Short was also reversed 👍

No sir I did not catch that. Disregard that time, but I am glad it's reversed because it's hard to slow the heavy g35 down the hill. Going up through the hairpins will be easier.

But that turn after the tunnel is hard to stop for. I was racing there once and we had a massive pileup at that turn.

Yeah I don't really like ascari.

Hey @WarriusZero, do you take requests for cars? If so I was just driving the Hyundai genesis track car and I have to say it was really fun and it was pretty easy to drive. Very sporty for a Hyundai.
