Just took some practice laps to get a feel for the g35 concept on each track. Deep forest and eiger short are pretty straightforward, however I strongly encourage everyone to get some laps at ascari. It is so easy to mess up and go off track, way off track. And if you're uncomfortable or unsure, you're going to be braking too early and causing a lot of issues so make sure to get your time in here.

For reference, after 5 laps on each track in a free run lobby I made with correct track settings, this is where I stand:
DF Reverse- 1:28.3
Ascari full- 2:26.1
Eiger short- 1:14.6

Hopefully I'll get more laps by the event and those times will drop but that's my starting point.
Well, I made a practice session with amar earlier. My time at eiger is similar to yours. I'm 2.24.1 at Ascari (with at least .5 to gain) and 1.26.7 at Deep Forest rev.

I might be able to join the party tomorrow. YAY :)

I did some laps at each location during the weekend. Ascari took more time than the other two but the Seasonal helped a bit. It felt almost easy in the GTR after my suicidal-sidewise-powerslide BMW Z8 setup :mischievous:

I got pretty close to Whitey's times. So should expect some close battles 👍

See you tonight

Just found this link if you have a ps4...it lets you use a ps4 contoller on the ps3 http://www.gamespot.com/articles/pl...s-wirelessly-with-playstation-3/1100-6420866/

Is there some advantage using DS4 over DS3? Never held one in my hands. From the pictures I have seen it has larger "handles" so that might be a good reason to get one...

Shame, I just bought new controller a month back (around same time my lap times started to improve, go figure...). Old one started to have pretty loose analog sticks after over 5 years of use :embarrassed:

Here is a list (unofficial) of compatible games with the DS4 on PS3. I don't see GT6...
But even if it was compatible, I couldn't drive with the DS4 cause buttons are digitals (exept the 2 sticks and L2 R2 which are still analogics). They are all analogics on the DS3 which is pretty useful for me cause I use X to accelerate and [] to brake. So I need these buttons to be analogics. Digitals have only 2 positions: on or off, and that sucks 👎

I'll join today as well , but I'll probably not in my best shape 'cause I've spent the last week with GAS :D
and I don't know yet If I'll want to race at Ascari because I really hate those chicanes , maybe I can act like a steward and watch you guys racing :D
Deep Forrest and Eiger are great :P

The chicanes are not as bad as they look. Just keep off the grass, right?

Edit: I do wish they would be consistent with that white line rule but thats the way it worked in the Seasonal as well.

The ps4 controller doesnt work on gran turismo 6...sorry

it does in the menus, but when on the track it stops working, im hoping theres a fix for this at some point.:embarrassed:

thank you @Litchi for a very intense battle:cheers:

Got so annoyed when I couldn't join the race because it said "tuning prohibited" when the car was stock... I specifically came home for this race because I missed a couple of races recently I was missing the intense battles, should definitely be back next week. On time that is.

That happened to me 2 weeks ago and it happened again tonight, i had to back out and to save time i bought a new one :banghead:

Some good races tonight, cheers all.

And now on to next week :) 👍 :)

If it's a car that you bought before the last update that changed the camber, you have to go into the settings page and look at the suspension settings by opening the relevant tab. (I usually open and close all the tabs to be safe, but I'm pretty sure it's just the suspension settings tab that's pertinent.)

If it's happening with a car purchased post update, it's a bug and I don't know what to say other than to try the same thing...

Cheers amarynceos, noted for the future, ive just bought next weeks car so i guess im ok...at least for a week.

I don't know if it was that I hadn't practiced enough or that I was tired or that I had spent sunday tuning my looney tunes and having fun with them:mischievous: (Probably combination of all3) but I did not get best out of me tonight.

Maybe next week 👍

Here are a few photos of one of the fun moments of the evening:
It goes like this: "Hey, are you sure? :odd: ... ok, why not. :indiff: ... we're fiiiiine!!!... :D Oh, maybe not.... Nope nope nope... :ouch: Come on guys, we were trying to catch up with Whitey..."

That was a tough spot! I would have liked to leave room on the inside for @drandiiski as I knew he was right on my quarter panel, but I didn't want to run @WarriusZero off the track on the outside either... :scared: It was just the tiniest of taps, but I was just a passenger after that.

Today I Learned that Brundle, as I believe it is called, is definitely a single-line corner. :sly:

Nice racing last night! Made a stupid mistake about half way in first race and lost any chance of catching WZ and amary. A-scary was fun - stated well but was quickly overtaken by grandpa and co. Joking about KKG here, but I also missed a race because my back started to hurt. I have been skipping my exercises for the back pains lately and it is becoming obvious that I need to be much more consistent. Just turned 31 and already falling apart.
Nice shots WZ. It really looked like we can make it at first, but then I was like "abort! abort!" and it was too late. I feel it is mostly my fault, but I guess it was OK in the end.

I did quite a few laps at Ascari, only to come off at the first turn, during the race:ouch:

How many laps are we doing at Red Bull?:)
