No jealousy here, but it looks like the Zero Cup is suffering from the Parity Club's success.. :)
It leads me to ask 2 questions. Who's still interested in the ZC and what should I do to retain your interest?

Still interested too. Personally I don’t think there is a need for change, but if you guys decide to tweak things up I’m still in. Sometimes I miss races, but that is mainly because it is 22:00 for me here and I’m too tired (getting up at 6:30 every day), especially if I wasn’t exactly relaxing in the weekend. Also hope that the latest patch fixes those annoying bugs!

I absolutely despise the Renault trophy but I'll be there if I can get out of work on time. Race time is 2pm for me so it's a little early for a weekday but I make it when I can

I had an unpleasant surprise right now:

I tested the car online before, and it was all good, i think i had set the room to tuning prohibited, not really sure. I went to test it again today, but when i tried to sign-up, i was blocked by the "tuning prohibited" restriction.

I know i did nothing to the car, as i used it in another spec league. So i went and reseted the suspension to default, for my surprise, the values of camber and toe angle, change from (Camber F:2.0 , R:1.0 / Toe F:0.00 , R:0.20) to (Camber F:1.5 , R:3.5 / Toe F:-0.50 R:0.50).

The new values are due that update, where they "fixed" the camber. Apparently, i have to reset some cars manually.

Now the car is still drivable, but it's not the delight it was.

No it is not a delight. It is now twitchy and easy lose the rear if you as much as breathe on a curb or steer and accelerate too much. It feels similar to the karts as far as how careful and deliberate you must be. Maybe its more bearable with a wheel but it is hell with a pad.

Now the Alfa for the next, that's a hell of a car and a pure dream to drive. Also, being lower horsepower, should make for some incredible, close racing.

Yeah, it's become trickier with the new default settings, but it's still a fun challenge. It took several laps at pancake-flat Silverstone National before I stopped looping it under braking. Blending throttle and brake goes some ways toward keeping the rear end stable, I'm finding. It's now somewhat like the Stratos, where it doesn't care for being off throttle very much in the middle of a bend.

edit: oh yeah, the tyres. Got to take care of that left rear, once it goes things become very interesting.

Maybe it's better to forget about the second gear, as it's easier to spin the car, i think all the 3 tracks don't need it, and it's better for the tires.

Agreed, short shifting is a very good practice on the Megane.
I chose the car before the update that changed all the suspension settings but it should still be fun to drive, just a bit more challenging. And the people who are good on their tyres are going to benefit. It changes from the weeks where the comfort tyres never wear.

Hi warrius is there any racing tonight, if so is there room for 1 more. Also do you have a specific room name I should look out for or is the room under your name?

Monday is league day bud. Unless... is there a super secret friday league im unaware of? Why are you holding out on me Warrius? I promise to behave if you invite me, lol.

Actually I happen to be in a position to play a bit from now on. I will be opening a room for some practice so if anyone is bored, you can pop round...

I will miss the event again. Been busy at work and ill be stuck late again. Good luck everyone and remember to have fun and not be too serious. These leagues live and die on the amount of respect and courtesy given on track. No position on track is worth creating heat between our members. We have an incredible group of clean drivers here. Man I am so bummed im missing another one. Maybe ill have to take off work next week to ensure I can get out on track with you guys again, lol.
