on your spreadsheet, the comment says 6.2mile example on week 4 has 313bhp

Week 3 when the car turns up in the used car lot, the power is listed as 282.

Does the power increase for week 4?

Or do you only see the actual power once the car is purchased?

If you click upon the "Buy" icon, a "valuation" screen comes up. That screen - IN ALL CASES in used cars - shows the correct stats for that car. You don't have to purchase it to find out.

The used lot is "refreshed" totally each week. Cars do not persist there, even if they appear to be the same car. To test this, buy a car from any used car lot which my sheet says will be there the next week. If you've bought it and it's the same car the next week, it can't be there, right? But it will be there, because it's not the same car.

Okay, I have put in the colours till cycle 16. Will sent it to Famine when I get it to cycle 20. Hope to do it ASAP.

But I have a problem. :indiff:

On cycle 14 (days 92-98), I accidently saved the game when I bought one of the last used cars. The used car lot changed and thereby I missed the colours of the last 3 used cars in the 90's B.

Mazda RX-7 Type RS '00
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII GT-A '02

Could someone check which colours they have? Much appreciated. :embarrassed:

I started a used cars database at cycle 49. I'm currently at 71. No colour tracking, sorry, but 10km cars footage done. If useful, I can post it on a excel table (in the "last page Famine" style).

rare cars seems to appear at waves, I can see. Also, I never seen a GTO MR '95 in these late weeks.

The only car ever present in 49-71 is the Toyota Carina, others skipped just one week (the Galant '89, the MX5 '89, the Minica).
 
Up to Week 35 now uploaded. Didn't check my e-mails due to some quite interesting house "renovation" work (my PC is currently "relocated" and I'm using my new wireless mouse and keyboard from the nearest patch of empty floor, staring at a 15" monitor 30 feet away), so colours up to week 10 only at the moment. I'll re-edit when I get a chance.

I'm at week 17, day 113 (the first day of this cycle, correct?), on PAL version. I have a Nissan Silvia K's S13 '91 with 10Km (6.2miles has 206 hp) on used cars. It dont appear on your list, is it a mistake?
 
It appears on the Week 17 sheet as a 6.2 mile car. I just haven't flagged it in the overview. Good spot though.

I see that the prize don't change a lot for the used cars (11089Cr. and 15855Cr. for the Toyota Celica GT-Four RC, my favorit, for 16 appearances) but what's for the mileages?
If it change more than the prize, it will be interesting to put the low mileage (week & prize) for each cars (without 10km) to make the best deals. Credits are precious for the blacks and rares cars.
 
i'm still in my first cycle, around 620 days...

what i noticed was one really really weird day with almost 30-40% of all used cars being 10.0km ones on that day?!? weird, never happened to me before, happened somewhere between 550 and 650

i've bought around 100 used cars in this cycle :dopey: and i have to say none of the cars mentioned as rare are REALLY rare imho other than the Mitsubishi GTO MR '95 which hasn't popped up for me yet :(

if you always have enough credits you should be able to get all cars in 2-3 cycles... (the ones available used)

After the first five cycles I disregarded the mileages altogether. I've never seen, outside the 6.2 mile cars, a car with less than 10,000 miles on it turning up in the Used Car section. There is no difference in power between a car with 10,000 miles on it and one with 40-50,000 miles, so I figured "Why bother?"... :D

what's up with the HP in your list? i got different (higher all the time) values on almost any used car than you have on your list?!?!
 
I set my game up from the start to use hp as power units.

This transpires to have been a mistake - all the power ratings are down on what I calculated from the Japanese version's PS measurements.

However, I've started, so I'll finish... :D

cycle 67 (day 463) was a silly cycle, but not with so much 10km cars.....see above.
They can be random....

No. RogsR34UK has noted occurrences of 6.2 mile (10.0km) cars. As I pass into each cycle, the cars come up exactly as he's noted.
 
cycles 49-81 are ready. I have edited a db based on Famine car list and integrated data with Famine 1-30 cycles.
I need some time to add cycles 31-35 (downloading...). See you tomorrow

I'm SURE I was looking at PAL list. My mystake, sorry. The list is correct and 10km cars aren't random. :yuck:
