Is that a Magnum RT in the AMV8 shot?
Because I had access to the number plate which he blurred out?
I'm sorry - I thought my side by side comparison of the vehicles from Google Images was enough - turns out, Holdenhsvgtr had the reg number and ran it through yesterday. Then after he posts that nugget, you come in forty minutes later talking about the headlight wipers - a detail you no doubt would've missed had you not had access to the certain knowledge that the vehicle was a fake. And then you give me **** for not checking my resources? I'm not buying it, buddy.
I went on my judgement based on the information I had available at the time - you had more information available. Case closed.
And though I trust McLaren's judgement, since he's seen, studied, and photographed many of these cars professionally, I don't think his point about the amber turn signals is valid. American M5s may have yellow signals, and I've seen many cars that do (take the Saab 9-5X's colored US lights and frosted white Euro lights as an example). This piture, along with all of them on World Car Fans show clear signals:
Can we get an agreement that the 512M is the most atrocious...thing...that Ferrari has ever let leave their factory?
For example, I doubt any of the F40 LM's would have real windows. And the front bumper looks completely different in any case.BTW, the F40 just has a LM-aftermarket spoiler, and front bumper work. You'll know the GTE-LM when you see 'em.
You need the therapy I subjected myself to: Look at the Testarossa (though the 512TR will also work). Look at all angles. Then look at the 512M. If you don't barf, do it again. One only needs to look at the rear-end, and it isn't advised to look at both the back and front at the same time (I don't want to be held responsible for seizures or general convulsing). And for that matter, to see the cool wheels that it admittedly does have, one has to be looking at it from the side. You can't see the ugly from the side, and it might even trick you into thinking it is a 512TR.M5PowerNo - I still believe it's got the best stock wheels of any car, ever.
Oh, I thought we were talking about the Testarossa. I saw 512 TR and thought "Testarossa" Yeah, that things blander than a mid ninties Mercury.
