It wasn't me who hit you lewy0s. I did see you but miss you.

It's ok gyles. I did think it took you a while to take me again. I was going to carry on but I wanted to follow the rules. I didn't want a steward's inquiry.

I think we must have lost around 30 seconds there

Anyway, what's the point in discussing it now. The race is over, it was the worst race of my season, I was clearly quick enough to challenge Shaggy but nothing can be done. What a way to end the season!
I just hope Racecar and Fastduck had a much better race, with less crashes and more considerate driving.

I will be in this next season, but I will be in it to win it, not to come 2nd. This wasn't my year because I made too many mistakes so early, next season will be different.

Tbh, my first overtaking move was enough to get passed you. I slipstreamed you down the final straight and I was clearly right in front of you, but you hit into the back of me and gave me a puncture, I spun and crashed into the wall.
The time again with the final straight, I had no idea you would be so close to the barrier and didn't realise it would spin you.
I don't see how you could have spawned and gone straight into the back of me, I was looking behind me and you were way behind me and just drove into the back of me.

Again like I say, never seen anything like it happen before, just got lifted up off the road, revs were going mad the car was literally screaming and I just had absoloutly no control over the car. - Not my fault.

You then hitting me twice, once on the straight and then at turn 10.

So I was responsible for 1 crash, you for 2 and one completely out of everyones control.

Well if you had of used your head and braked earlier into turn 1, then I would have drove off because I was clearly faster and the other crashes would never have happened.

1st. Shaggy Alonso - 11 pts (Jordan GP)

6th. Kingmart1n - 3 pts (Williams)
7th. Sureboss - 2 pts (Team Aguri)
8th. Kakundoo - 1 pt (Brawn GP)

Pole position - fishfash - 1:14.9xx
Fastest lap - Shaggy Alonso - 1:10.891

Jordan GP - 15 pts
Team Aguri - 10 pts
Williams - 8 pts
Brawn GP - 7 pts

Well that turned out nothing like I expected. My first two qualy laps were shockers, then I pulled out a 1:15.2 which was faster than I had been all week and without draft but it was still 3 tenths shy of Gyles, but crucially put me ahead of Kakundoo who came in third.

I got off to a good start and noticed Gyles stood still, clearly not wanting to get into a tangle with me and Kak into turn 1. I emerged out of the Senna S unscathed but looked behind and saw Kak had planted it into the wall, I could not believe this! From there on Kak, Gyles and I traded fastest laps but couldn't help but notice on the map that Kak was falling well down the order further improving my championship position.

After the first pit stops I had fastest lap with a 1:12.1, then Kak with a 1:11.2 then Gyles with a 1:11.1. Some time after the stops I was bearing down on the Renault of Kakundoo, again I couldn't believe this was happening. Though I was lapping him, he was easily as fast as me so we were racing as if for position. I got a better exit out of the Senna S and slipstreamed behind him and went through in turn 4 but he slipstreamed me back and crashed into the back of me at turn 5. He duly waited for me though he really didn't have to in the circumstances. I pressed on and then noticed Kakundoo disconnected with about 5 laps remaining! I was officially champ but it was a pretty underwhelming feeling, gutted we didn't get to race against each other properly as we were as closely matched as we had been all season.

I pushed hard on my second pitstop outlap and got the fastest lap as the cherry on the icing on the cake.

It's been a great championship and I'm mightily relieved to come through it on top. Special mention has to go to Kakundoo who suffered a huge amount of bad luck on first laps that compromised his races where he could easily have fought for the win. As it stood, we had hardly any wheel to wheel racing, apart from Monza which was the exception, incredible wheel banging for about 6 consecutive laps! Thanks to him we had an exciting championship battle!

Gyles as well, a true gentleman racer in the Fangio/Moss mould! Always very fair and blindingly quick.

Of course my team mate Appie as well, pleasure racing with you and we fully deserved the constructors championship!

Thanks to everyone else for participating, it was a blast for 18 sundays.

Last but certainly not least, thanks must go to Ardius for organising the whole thing. I think you handled the few post race arguments extremely well and were always fair we me and everyone else equally.

Well if you had of used your head and braked earlier into turn 1, then I would have drove off because I was clearly faster and the other crashes would never have happened.

Again go back and read my first post

Later on kak comes up behind me into turn 1 get's past with the slip stream, I lift off early as not to hit him off, yet he still spins off anyway so I waited for him.

I was along way back, yet the game has such a big lag bubble you went off. Still waited for you.

When are we thinking about holding the next Championship?
I'm raring for another one, but I think we should all take a breather. I'm going to cool off and get ready so that I can win the next one.

I'd prefer to do it in a different game, but seeing as the next f1 game isn't out till mid next year, I could be waiting a while. I might join one if it's started up for F1 CE again, but I agree I think we should give it a break for a while, like a few months. Maybe start another one after the summer or something.

Although I am going to need to get even faster than I am now. Because if Fishfash is going to use his wheel in the next season (and I doubt that his PS3 will break a second time), then I know I have to gain God-like speed lol, at least 2-3 seconds quicker than I was at Bahrain.

EDIT: I call having Brawn again lol, who wants to be my team mate for next season?

Although the race didn't end the way I would have liked, I did everything perfect in this race. Basically not eventful at all with perfect pit stops, I was just too slow to do anything. As I said earlier, its been a fun season and I've had a blast. Congrats to duck, it was all him today. And I apoligize to CAMIkaze for turning him around. I tryed to stay off as best I could, but didn't do enough. Great race guys:tup:

Take it out on your teammate, whydoncha?:P:dopey: It's OK RC.;)

For the NTSC drivers, I was wondering if you all would like to have a go at making up the Silverstone race we had to bin due to technical issues? How does 9 pm EDT next Sunday night sound?:)

I guess that would be nice, I'd be up for it.

Great race and season all. After a what I what I thought was a bad quali, I was 3rd! I had never been that high before. So the start was awful, I broke too soon and I someone got the back of me (Sorry whoever that was). Then had a spin and another wreck :( for a 2:01 lap. :dunce:

Then I got it back together and I knew if I pushed I could move up, I ended up catching Kami and Ran then spun again after I passed him .

Congrats to Duck on the championship, lightning quick my man. 👍

Also to my teammate, Mofongo, thanks for putting up with not a lot of points! I appreciate the tips, I wish we could do another season, I think I could fight for higher up the pack on another go around. 👍

Fast lap - 1:11.6xx - ZERODUCK

:gtpflag:  CONGRATS TO THE DUCK MEISTER  :gtpflag:

I decided to qualify at the rear as to avoid what I thought would be a turn 1 shunt :sly: There was a shunt but I don't know how many were caught up in it :indiff: Duck and RC got off fine as they started at the front. So I methodically worked my way up the leader board as I passed most everybody when they had problems. I managed a P3 finish as I didn't expect anymore, OH, and I had my first sub 7 second stop with a 6.9 :P I was beginning to think it couldn't be done  Good racing. Glad I was given the opportunity to race in this championship 👍 sorry to see us lose our servers :grumpy: but hopefully we will have a return to the championship when F1 2010 comes out :D

I'm all for it as I missed out on the first one. I heard there was an issue do to the rain so lets make it a dry race.

I was planning on making it a dry race all along.;)

You know ill be there QUACK QUACK

Frist i want to say thanks for letting me be a part of this tournament, i had a blast. I knew this race was going to be tough, and for the last week i have been trying to decide if i was going to qualify, so HEMI and i did alot of practice untill fri, i knew i was running pretty well , so i took the weekend off from F1CE and played alot of GT5 . I think it really helped me because the cars have no grip and you have to slow down to go faster. I decided to go ahead and qualify because i knew i was faster than RACECAR , I qualified P1 and was real happy with that, at the start of the race i tried to hold the inside and get a clean run down into turn 1, it worked out well . Once i got out front i knew as long as i didnt make any mistakes no one was going to catch me. Both my pitstops were 7.2 so that helped alot also. I really didnt have any problems, no penalties, i slowed down when i caught CAM as i didnt want to mess up, once he pitted i had clear track ahead .Thanx RACECAR for the great battle all season, sorry only one of could win the Championship. Thanks guys for the great racing , if im not mistaken i won the F1 Championship and my team won the Constructors title also, thanx team mate

Oh and something else, sorry i had to lie about my practice times, i was just trying to get in yall's head. A little psychological warfare if you know what i mean. QUACK QUACK

My best time so far this week at Brazil in light rain has been a 1.12.368 but i can run pretty consistent 1.13s so i feel pretty good about my chances here .

MY LIE sorry guys

Hahaha @ Duck.... I finished 8th technically so I got a point... I scored points in all but 2 races... not bad for a guy who isn't the fastest driver and joined in the second half of the season! :) --- Randy

Bah, I was quick last night and should have grabbed 3rd. I qualified 4th and was a bit slower than I had been in practice. I was up to 2nd at one point, but lost it going into the pits and got re-spawned outside the pit lane so I had to drive back down the pit straight (had no fuel left), but saw no one was coming on the map.

Well done to Shaggy, commiserations to Kak, though I think it was quite poor to just quit when you were losing.

A big thanks to Ardius for organising it from a far.

Congratulations FastDuck on winning the championship and your psychological warfare worked 👍

Well done :)

good race guys. Dont know how i managed 3rd place im sure i was well of the pace but somehow stayed relatively accident free and away from commotion.

Well done Shaggy on a great performance. I thought Gyles would of won it his qualifying time was crazy. My qualifying put me in 5th iirc and a few good battles and 20 laps later i took a podium finish.

Ul Kak. I though you should of stayed on though just for your own peace of mind.

Hey guys, what is/are the best pit times you've had. I've had so many 7.0 second stops that I thought I was impossilbe to get anything under that........until last night when I got a 6.9 👍 got so excited I messed up my out lap :grumpy:

Ha ha, no chance of winning that one, my lap times were all over the place, I had no consistency with the controller :nervous:

Yep 6.9 is my best as well and have only ever done that once. Usually anything between 7.2-7.5 for me :)
