Hi, one of my friends informed me that they had a great time racing some GTP people on Suzuka. Some of you may come across her, she's called "Leah_Jo_Scott". She's not your average type of player since she likes playing games thats typical for the male audience like COD4 (which I found out the hard way when she had 40+ kills with a shotgun like a lunatic). She borrows her boyfriend's PS3 and plays on occasions and decided to play GT5P.

She did say she was kinda itimidated with the line of "Black GT" cars which she puts it, so I presume its the Ford GT LM. She also apologises if she caused some people to go off, I told her about GTP and racing etiquette since she only played it for a week so I don't think she's an agressive driver unless i'm mistaken (obviously i'm not there to verify it). Since she's not a GTP member I have to say this on her behalf, she wants to thank people for the good races and hope to come on soon in the future. :)

Yea there were about 8 GTLMs just now :lol: I might end up moving myself off the schedule if that happens again, it makes the race pointless for any other car pretty much, i was running 3rd (although i wouldn't have been for long) after managing to nab te lead on lap 1 to be passed straight away by 2 of them before T1, when there was a little accidentwhich put me to 8th i believe, i managed to climb back to 5th but there's no way of catching the LMs in any other car if the drivers are fast. I was in a Viper/T by the way.
 
Just something I've noticed:

when you're following someone on Suzuka on the start of the Dunlop curve it always appears as if their car hits the wall at the start of the turn & bounces off. The first few times I saw this, I assumed that it was just bad driving, but then I noticed it always happens (I think?) - a weird visual glitch?

I was in a couple races with her, and she was decent. Definitely send her this way.
 
Still trying to dial in my Elise 111R as far as suspension settings but it is getting there. I looked at some of the 'tuner builds' on the site but their rear spring settings look too high for professional physics. Either way it's been fun racing some of you on here though. I've been taking breaks sporadically but am going to be back on after i eat... probably around the next XX:00

Keep practicing in the Elise 111R, it's a good car for Suzuka when you get the settings right. The car is not as fast as the GTLM's, Corvette, Viper etc, but I have found it to be great fun to drive...makes you really have to drive well to win.:D

If only I could go beyond 336hp lol. But it is soooo much fun to drive as you said.

yeah i was in a few races with her. she was pretty quick too. very good to see.

I run mine with only 325 BHP, I have concentrated more on Handling, less weight better tires sort of thing.
If you want some settings assistants just PM man, take it easy.;)

no I don't think we clashed anywhere, merely a scratch if we did!!, was some good racing tho yeah... highly favourable! see you out there again! Just stop development of that elise ok ? :)

I'll be there at the next start XX:45 no one on HSR and i just turned the best lap ever for me in the blitz 2.02:40 so im in the suzuka mood :P

wow i been away from suzuka to long i guess, i got on that track with other cars and went retarded....... sorry to everyone there that had to see that sad display of racing...

I'm going to try and connect on the 15's also ... not been having much luck connecting in the last 2 days and end up with 1 connection out of about 20 attempts :( it's even worse than before the update and that was irritating to say the least :mad:

Will try anyway .. hope to see some of you in there 👍

Third night in a row where the racing was totally dominated by FAQ EVIL in a tuned Clio: as far as I could tell, he won every single race, including a few where he was booted off at turn 1 & had to work his way back through the field. I kept waiting for someone to show up who could give him a run for his money with a "macho" car - but it never happened...

He is the man to beat in his 741pp Clio (I think his name is spelt as FAK_EV1L), but he is a very clean driver. Manage to pass him at T1 at the start which is a rarity thanks to the acceleration of my Evo X, he was very patient and times his moves well. Led 3/4 of lap 1 before the inevitable happened lol.
 
been racing on there. just re-spec'd the Elise 111R and it hauls the mail! Been racing this entire time on R2's. Slapped some R3's on her and oh my, what a difference.

PS: @ Carachoman, if you read this.... Wikkid battle of Elise's with you. That was epic! 👍

I was in the race with 6-7 GTP_Members driving Tuned Lotus and couldnt keep up the pace with my Tune R35 Skyline but did manage to finish in front of one GTP-er that I think he tought he have bump me out, but whar really happened is that I downshifted for no reason and the tail came loose :S so I've loose it :|
That was nice to race against lots of GTP-er ;) can wait to have Lobbies :D

Seem to be quite a problem connecting to a proper grid lately, I entered the xx:15 and I think GTP_LiBi was host but I got disconnected. Don't know if its just me (in that case I apologise if my car caused mayhem at the start as I was DC) or its a widespread problem. Going to take a quick break and see if it patches itself later.
 
Yup, I seemed to be the host. Atleast I was able to drive on my own. :D Don't know what happened there though.
 
i was getting a 'matching failed' error a few times from about 1600gmt. I've not had this error before. So i checked network was ok etc. went to my gtp_ login to try that... i went to delete my saved data in my gtp account, so i could copy over my main account data again, just to keep them in synch. So i deleted the game data instead of my saved data. Ok, no problem i thought, i'll reload.. but all my saved data was wiped from both accounts. I now have 35,000, and nothing else. blah.. i had 6 F12007 cars stacked up before this... :(
anyone else get the matching failed errors??
