Unfortunately there is always at least one bad apple, and sadly this time it was me who took the bite that contained the maggot. Mind you, once I got my teeth into the little blighter it tasted real good.

I understand.

I've only got a pad but love to race close. Sometimes in my big clumbsy GTR I have to brake a lot sooner than people in S2000's or Elise's and they whack me off. I try not to get mad.

I think people just need to chill out really and the 'ring would help people do that. A 10 lap nurburgring race would allow people to get lots of free track time...

If I know I can't make a move without hindering the other person, I definately won't try it. If we hit - it's either because of lag or a total mistake - sorry guys.

I often let faster people through also. Not worth holding them up.

Hey fair_play_please, you use this forum?. Always when I see you on the road I remember a thread that someone did here about using names like that in order to motivate clean races. Maybe it was you?, your name just reminds me that thread and I was thinking one day if you could be maybe a GTPlanet user, and you are !. Good skillz man =]

Yeah, rumors says that he's doing this event each 10 mins, we just see him on xx:00 and xx:30 due to coincidence.

He is a great racer, GTP_BJM and me have been watching it last days on the road.

EDIT: Can't race more guys, I've to sleep (unfortunately), you know... still on university tests period. Just a few days left for the last one, after that I'll have time to do the GTP_Registry time attack, and to get my first wheel finally after 10 years of playing with a controller... I don't know how it will be. Anyway I'll try to race before the test but not much time, just on intervals. See you on the road !

Good luck with the tests. Once you get a wheel there's no going back!

Yes, Sphinx is very clean and quickly driver, i had some very intense races with him the last two days...

Not a nice move SRT_Speedy... if you can't afford to be overtaken in your GTLM then try to be faster than a GT 06 or take some driving lessons

Despite having some really good races during this event there are a few things which are winding me up and I feel the need to have a minor rant...

Clios/Mines/GTRs
Mobile road blocks for 90% of the lap, but pretty much uncatchable on the straights... only have to be half decently driven to be almost impossible to pass without taking big risks under brakes. And if you try to go round the outside, so unstable that you're 99% likely to get punted off even if it's not deliberate.

Fast drivers in GTLM's running 748 or 749PP just to get a front row grid slot
You already have the fastest car out there, learn to battle your way through the pack like the rest of us have to FFS.

I was driving your GT 06 which is so fun and uncatchable sometimes... He finally passed me once then on the straight to 130r, slipstreamed him and try to overtake him wide left then he suddenly & deliberatly moved from right to left throwing my car on the grass & barrier.....

Completely agree with you Stotty concerning the GTlm's but when they are in the back of the pack, they constantly ram anybody in front of them to catch the lead the soonest at any cost (for others) ....
