Fast drivers in GTLM's running 748 or 749PP just to get a front row grid slot
You already have the fastest car out there, learn to battle your way through the pack like the rest of us have to FFS.

I'll get my coat.

The problem is that the battle to the front of the pack takes about half of the first straight. It's a total pain in the butt to have to dodge past the entire grid in 1st gear, only to be punted the hell out of when you reach T1. I sometimes use the 749 option both in GT06 and lm spec just to avoid the inevitable carnage. Blame PD for arranging the grid the wrong way round.

Totally agree on the clios - they're a nightmare to pass but that just makes it more rewarding when you do. Why should people not be allowed to choose them? I mean it's not as if they're GT-R's :sly:

@fair_play_please: sorry for the one or the other bump, it was hard to race against you because of laggs :(

@Madforce
no problem mate, that explain some errors today:)and i was trying some different setups too, sorry if i was not always very quick and on the right line:embarrassed:

Gruß:)

Sorry Fair_Play for last race @ Suz as I was trying the F599 on 1st lap in the Esse's I went apart to give you room to pass but I think we misunderstood eachother.

Sorry mate 👍

Last Race was the worst Ever... Next time I see more than One SPANISH on the Grid, host or not I will disconect :grumpy:

Sorry Twisted I tried to avenge you but that moron Offline with the red GT-R had a better car (for punting) than the f599. grid full of B*stard again... what a night!!!

Hi There,

I remember that, was also one of the many victims of that red GT-R.
Still had some fine racing with a lot of true racers like you and GTP/ GTRP / GTC team drivers.

Bryan

Don't worry Aero :sly:

I know it's always a little unfair to speak about Spanish drivers we have the misfortune to meet online, but my right hand is way enough to count the fairplay ones :grumpy:

Pleasure to race with you agin Aero 👍

Good battle yesterday Rudi_Raser! Sorry for the bump going under the bridge.

I saw two fellows crack the 10 minute barrier yesterday. Unfortunately I made a few mistakes and lost their draft, otherwise I would have cracked the 10 minute mark as well. doctorben (US) placed first followed by FAK_EV1L (IT). 9:57 is sure hauling ass...

Wow, sub ten minutes.

Just out of interest... am I completely silly for using the Lancer Evo X /Tuned for this one?

It's really nice through the corners, but I'm losing positions on the straights. If I get a good slip round, I can get times of 2:00/2.01, but as soon as I'm ahead or in clear air the times drop off by as much as a few seconds.

I've given the tuned Evo X a quick try before so I'll throw my 2 cents in. IMO, if you're trying to run toward the front of the pack with the really competitve cars and drivers (GTLM, Lotus 111R, tuned Viper, tuned Vette) you're going to find that the Evo just doesn't have what it takes to keep up no matter how hard you push. It's solid through the corners but seems to be lacking big time on the straights, as you mentioned. The cars that I mentioned earlier can be just as quick if not quicker through the corners, but end up destroying the tuned Evo on the straights.

mmmh, all my races against him was really fair and clean, and there was a lot of fights.

One thing I can't stand about doctorben is when he weaves back and forth across the straightaways, even though it's only the first lap. I mean c'mon...do you really need to pull away and win that badly? lol I don't know why it bugs me, but it does...

Weaving to break the draft is a lame move in my book.

Rudi, maybe you are the exception mate.
I received a PM from him and I replied, let's see if the next time the peace is there.

Aero, yes, it's me :D , eclipsi_RC or GTNDC-Ramon, the driver is the same one. ;)

I agree. BUT, as long as they quit weaving when you go to pass I feel it's okay. I still don't do it, because I'd rather look classy and coming in 1st doesn't matter so much as having a good, clean, side by side race with someone.

thanks all. Sorry for the odd rough and tumble. I've been trying out a new setup, but it still needs a lot of work.

An apology for GTP_Wanna_B for the last race. :dunce:

Catch you next time.

Fast yes, fair no.

hi mates :)

sorry but don't agree!!

i know doctorben since long time and we had arround 1000000000000000races both:crazy:
he is a little beat agressive but is fairplay ...:sly::)
it's true that sometime when he get late cause slow guy in front of him, he overtake a little beat strongly :)
but i can understand him cause i'm not happy when happened to me and i ask to myself" what is slow guys do in professionnal race " however no problem if when see a driver who catch u by 2 or 3 secs a lap let him pass and try to follow him ...it's more intelligente than try to resist and make him lost time...
off course if u are ahead it's normal to defend your race :)
I think it's a little beat easy to cry ..:nervous:
i try to be fair as possible but sometime it's hard to resist and you know what ..it's not enaugh because someones in french forum think that i'm the king of punter and unfair is my best quality.. all that to say be faster and don't give him the opportunity to overtake you mates:sly::

for information...TEW members and other fast japanese driver like my friend masiro_iori etc... invite him for race every days, and they know his agressivity but they like it and figth same ...all in fairplay...and very closed races
he's best race is 9'54'xx ...:) 9'55'xx for me:ouch:
so try to think about it:idea:

see u

Just had a couple of great races with alot of GTP-ers.👍
Sorry to all who got punted, still got to get the hang of the 111R.:nervous:
