Gold Junkies Check-in

Hey everyone... I picked up a PS3 in anticipation of GT5, so I'm new to the whole Sony online experience (have to say I like 360 online better but that's another thread).

Some of you might remember me from the Gold Junkie days. Most have no idea who I am. I ran the Gold Junkies website.

So I'm wondering (a) who among the Gold Junkies is hanging around here and (b) how we will hook up online? Obviously I won't be KidA on the Sony network since that's taken, and I imagine others may find the same thing.

Anyway, if it's appropriate...Gold Junkies, please check in.

I haven't seen gold junkies for a while, I was a gold junkies lurker btw, so you probably won't know me. To my knowledge, there are quite a few knocking around still. I could name a few now, but I am sure they will check themselves in' in due course.

Checking in, 6 months late.

Was only ever a GT3/4 Goldjunkie - until very recently when I added GT1 (NTSC-J) to my list. I'll be going for GT2 shortly too

Hi Jeff, a trip down memory lane. I enjoyed the goldjunkies website, brings back memories. I am not sure that I would be interested in chasing gold records in GT5 licenses for awhile though (I accept that is not what you are suggesting...yet, LOL). In fact I am still 5 short of golding them all in GT5. It is good to see you on GTPlanet.

Great news there's a Gold Junkies data base set up

There's been a thread up and running for license golds since the day of release (some of us saddo's ticked them off in the 1st 24 hours)... might want to get Steve (Stevisov) to drop the links in the opening post (I'll give him a prod).

Err... I started at 5.45pm on release day and I'd finished them all by 4.30pm the next day (I know, it's very sad!). I know Stevisov had them before me, but in my defense, I think he got the game a bit earler than I did

I know we have a huge time difference, but drop me a PM with your on-line ID and maybe we'll get to do some racing over the coming months/years
