Welcome to the Cappuccino Cup Racing Series, the fastest caffeine buzz in online racing!
This series features the Race Modified version of the Suzuki Cappuccino (EA21R) ‘95, an incredible little car that is a blast to drive and a challenge to master. Here you will find all levels of driver skill resulting in a unique mix of racing that produces battles throughout the entire field. It’s a series for newcomers to cut their teeth and for experienced drivers to sharpen their skills.
The Cappuccino Cup features 6 Rounds of championship racing with 3 races per round. There will be a race every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at the same track and for the same number of laps. Drivers are free to participate in 1, 2 or 3 races each week but only their best result will count towards their championship points for that week/round. For example, if in Round 1 Driver A finishes 2nd in the Tuesday and 7th in the Saturday race they will receive 2nd place points for Round 1. Think of it as a 3 part race over the course of a week and only your best 1/3 counts.
Drivers must declare 1 night as their “primary race” so if a room gets full those drivers who have declared that night as their “primary” will get first dibs on the room. Drivers who have not declared that night as their “primary” may be asked to step aside for that night to make room for a “primary” driver. This has no bearing on your points for the week, if your best finish is on a non-primary night it still counts towards your championship points. This is simply to decide who gets the rights to be in a room if it has a full 16 drivers.
To help accommodate real-life schedule conflicts, only the best 4 out of the 6 Rounds will be counted at the end of the championship (Note: Only 1 of the 2 Enduro races can be dropped). When the 2 Rounds are dropped, any/all races that the drivers participated in during that Round will be erased. (If a driver received 0 points for a Round due to disqualification they will not be allowed to drop it at the end of the season.) Double-header races will each pay up to 25 points with 1 bonus point for pole position and 1 bonus point for winning both races. Enduro races will pay double points with 2 bonus points for pole position.
This unique and exciting format provides multiple opportunities for drivers to participate in any given week and also allows drivers to compete against each other for the championship even if they donÂ’t race on the same night. It also provides the opportunity to make up for a bad outing. If you make a mistake or get caught up in an incident early in the week you can race in one of the other rounds, if you score a better finishing position it will erase the low scoring night. All of this results in an incredibly exciting points battle that is always changing and unlike any other series on GTP.

*If you're experiencing connection problems here are some things to try to assist in reducing connectivity issues:
-Clear cache in GT5 (and even in the web browser)
-Restart PS3
-Restart Router
-Use automatic settings on router and PS3 and different settings
-Set router to DMZ
-Set static IP on PS3 and forward ports (as referred to in the manual)
-Remove firewall
-Go from wireless to wire
-Turn off all computers and other stuff
-Connect PS3 directly to router without anything else on
-Call/connect internet supplier and get the line checked
-The other big thing is to reset your modem. To do this you simply need to unplug the power to your modem for approximately 60 seconds then power it back up. A good time to do it is while GT5 is starting up.
Here's some more issues on forwarding ports...
