Good races guys! TnJF, you were imperious today. Your quali lap and race pace were both sublime.
First race went smoothly. Spent most of the race tucked up behind TnJF. I knew TnJF was faster than me, so I just comfortably cruised behind him. It became apparent to me how strong the draft effect really is, as even though I was backing off very early in the first and last turns to give TnJF space, I was setting mid 1'17s. The plan was to try to overtake him on the straight at the start of the last lap, but I screwed up the last corner and had to use the draft just to catch. From there I started pushing for the first time, but it was for naught.
Second race, I had to drive on my own. I drove decently, but a couple of big mistakes ensured a finish in a modest position. Had good battles with Chuy and Cicua. 👍

Guess tonight is going to be my dropped round for the season. No tire noise = no racing for me.

Anybody who has raced with me knows I will take myself out to keep from wrecking someone else so when someone runs into me on multiple occasions without so much as a "my bad", I have to say enough is enough. Just wish I hadn't done it all Jimmie Johnson on Kurt Busch style and took myself out in the process.
