Just played the GT2 beta (Bonus disc build... from a "dubious" source, and using a "dubious" method) and noted that 206 Rally Car had a very odd rims.

Is there any other beta track logos, aside from Romanesque Raceway/Rome Circuit's (GT2) and Seattle Circuit's (GT2000/GT3)? :)

There is a Repsol logo in beta Cote d' Azur. And the Corolla has it's MoviStar logos missing in the beta. I'll post it later. :)

^Awesome!

I guess I'll post this even though some people probably are aware of this.

I wonder why the blue Castrol Supra GT wasn't included in the final GT2.

Well, I grew up on GT3 a little bit as a toddler, then GT5 in early preteen, and then I within the last year went back to 1, 2, 3 and 4 in anguish from horribly-flawed GT5 and I always remember seeing the Castrol Supra GT '97 in GREEN and red, until I played GT1. Not only is the blue color scheme not like the real-life paint scheme in later games, IMO it just looks weird compared to the green one.

Then you should think that GT1 is more rediculous then, because this Supra also has a special version in black in GT1 aswell. I would guess that it was for the sake of realism, but then why not do the same for the 1998 Dodge Viper GTS-R or Subaru Impreza Rally Car '96? Those were in GT1 and I don't remember the Viper GTS-R having green stripes nor the Impreza Rally Car coming in black in real life. With that said, this Castrol Supra in Gran Turismo 2 is the only Racer Car from GT1 that lost its alternate color.

^The white/green stripe GTS-R is real deal - it was raced from memory. And black Impreza staying must be PD being lazy. :grumpy:

Speaking of which:

^What really? There's a green striped viper in real life?! Okay, one more car to add to my GT6 wishlist.

yeah though, PD could have been lazy.

^ Bro, that GTS-R was the Canaska/Southwind #49 Viper GTS-R. People may mistaken it as a green version of the Team Oreca, but that is totally wrong...

Honestly, I really like the black/green/red Castrol Supra GT, just not a Castrol Supra with blue as the side color. I'm just accustomed to and preferring of IMO the best original white/green or, better yet, the black/green. Maybe have the black/green Castrol Supra GT in GT6 as a stealth model! 💡 I'm also so-so as well about the black Impreza. :indiff:

That punto reminds me of my Shelby GT350R in GT5. When I painted it red, THE BUMPERS WERE STILL WHITE.

Going off topic once again, were there any hidden things in GT5 Prologue or the GT5 release and latest versions?

Whoa! Can you post that pic on my profile as a vistor message please!?:dopey: I want to see it!:dopey:

I don't know how to post pictures on here. But if you want, you can add me on PSN and I'll share the car for a while so you can see it in all of its wretchedness. Seriously, the Shelby Mustangs were my favorite muscle cars of all time, along with Shelby Cobras.

I love the Black Castrol Supra as well. I also still love the blue & red castrol paint. I think the main thing I liked about GT1 & 2 was their race cars. I just loved each racing paint scheme, I think GT1 is what made me love the Castrol Supra. I have at least 5 castrol supras in Gran Turismo 5 of each year.

On another subject, I think there probably should be "Searching for Evidence of Hidden Things" thread for each GT game if there isn't already. I'm aware that GT3 & GT1 have one, but what about the GT games before GT5?

I think the only games without one are the GT5 thread and if there is, the concept games. Even though GT5 doesn't have one, sorg over on the GT5 forum has found some hidden things

I can show you how to post pictures on here, it's not too hard.;) I will also add you on PSN, anything to see this car! I can wait to see it.:D

I've seen that thread, it's been a while since I've looked there though. From what I remember, there was a premium Nissan R89CP, Bentley Speed 8, & Japan Flag x2010 discovered.

Going off topic once again, were there any hidden things in GT5 Prologue or the GT5 release and latest versions?
GT5P: There is a hidden menu, I think it was in the news over 2 years ago. There were many things, for example the track map + logo for the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Circuit de la Sarthe, and Tsukuba - the game can't load them, though. Through this menu, you also could access to the GT-R Black Mask.
GT5: In the main section for GT5, there is a thread, called "Some hidden/reserved tickets", where many hidden things in GT5 were discovered.

On topic: did you see that many cars had different specs in the demo? For example the Mine's Lancer and Skyline, they had the same power as their normal counterpart. Or the JGTC cars, which had something around 440 PS, if I remember correctly.

I could upload my profile picture, but I actually found that picture I have on google. Or I could take a picture of the car in my gamesave with a camera or something.

I also know that this evo V rally car was Kaz's Evo V, I still have no idea why the car was removed from GT2, he should've kept it. I also wonder why neither of the 2 evo V rally cars never made it to the later GT games.
Kaz's EVO? Wow. I Wonder why is removed. Its almost same to mine's evo, but more powerful and tuned. (exterior)

Nice posts guys, especially RandomCarGuy17.

Definitely didn't notice the Repsol logos on Monaco. Fun fact about that Cobra in the demo, it's using the Demio's color scheme if I remember correctly.

This may sound wierd, but I think that the hidden McLaren F1 GTR used the same sound as the Jaguar XJR-15, mainly because it has the "growl" sound like the McLaren, mainly in the low RPMs. :indiff:

Also did you ever get any of the models for the cars Xenn?
For the cars like the Ferrari, Mclaren, etc? Unfortunately not as the demos can't be opened up yet unlike the final game.

Looks like there's an Audi car that got cut early in development, I don't remember seeing this anywhere in the final game.

(Found in the early demo)
