I see where you're coming from, just don't know if I'd call it "desperate".


They just got lucky with MLP and they're trying to take advantage of it. I guess when I think "desperate" I think "trying too hard", but when the alternative is just more of the usual, trying to exploit an already successful name seems like it would be an easy choice for them even without those shows being unsuccessful.

Photobucket is garbage. They reduce the res of your photos. Get a Dropbox, they give you 5GB storage for free, automatically syncs all your crap onto a new computer if your old one dies & with pics being dumped into it you'll never hit 5GB before you die. :lol: Well unless you use ridiculously big bmp files.

Since we had 13 episodes in season 3, would the supposed Equestria Girls series also have 13 episodes? Maybe they divided production between both series', and it might be the reason why season 3 ended up being half the lengh of the first 2. Just a thought.

It's also a possibility they had to cut back to produce Littlest Pet Shop episodes. Maybe a combination of the two took up too much time.

Picasa works very well for the most part.

With Picasa you can adjust the size of the image with a single value in the URL, too. So it's much easier than sites where you have to go back and find the smaller size.

Altered the colors at the back of here mane to match the picture form the last page. If you can't see it, Photobucket's fault.

Only the first pass and thats how much has been done. Only thing left is her Tail as well as how to fit in a hat without it cutting out in the background.

I'll look into these other sites, sound interesting but I'm hoping they've got some of the features I want (like 1-click copying of links, ability to manually organize your own folder and the size altering).

I've saw pics on this site with that word on them. I think I saw the "I'm going to love & tolerate the **** out of you" photo in this thread already. Anyway I don't really care, there's no real bad words on the pic. If a mod thinks it's gonna corrupt the youth then he/she we remove it discretely.

I will admit, Tail was taken from another vector. Other then that, pretty much all painted.

You can just right click and copy the image URL on Picasa.
 
Am I the only one here who really doesn't like this humanized thing? I don't normally let my jimmies get rustled by news like this but this sounds like it can only end badly, at least right now. I mean, like, terribly bad. Maybe it's just me and/or the beer.
 
Two things before I'm off to bed:


1. My take on the spin-off is this: As long as this just stays as a spinoff and not a canon to the series, I don't have a big problem. I'm not a fan of humanizations of MLP in general (With a very select few exceptions), but I'm not worried about this at all.

2. First pass before I head to bed and to school:



The very few wet mane vectors I found were useless so I had to result to some lengthy painting. Will hopefully have this fully finished later on.

And with that, I has leave. Stay sleepy, my friends.

Yeah, this will apparently remain as a spin-off only which is good. However I still don't see the need for a spin-off where the characters are this different and in a completely different environment. I mean a show based on those parameters wouldn't be bad, but I just don't see how it will work with these characters we've already gotten to know in this show. I hope this spring I'll be eating my words, but right now I just don't see how this will be good.

Also those vectors are looking good 👍 They're better than anything I could ever do.

Pretty soon it turned out to be a little more than just "occasionally". :lol:

Even though many of us have moved the Chatzy in recent weeks, we still chat as much as ever. So I should thank eX for going ahead and making the original chatroom. It's definitely helped us develop as friends, as well help each other out if we're having problems, and I won't forget the fun we've had in there at times. Hopefully it'll last another year at least.

Thanks. It just boggled my mind how their are tailored wet manes for OCs yet almost none exist for the show characthers so here I am :D

Mane on the right side was abit difficult to fit just right, but I think I managed it.


Also, theres been the thought running rampant in my head about possibly considering a OC. Naturally because I avoid trying to do any sort of OC in any fandom I don't want to, but theres also part of me that for the first time would actually like to.

Let me rephrase what I said an earlier post: I'm considering creating my own OC (or OCs), just conflicting on whether I should or not.


Of course I wouldn't mind doing Wet Mane OCs though.
