I see where you're coming from, just don't know if I'd call it "desperate".


They just got lucky with MLP and they're trying to take advantage of it. I guess when I think "desperate" I think "trying too hard", but when the alternative is just more of the usual, trying to exploit an already successful name seems like it would be an easy choice for them even without those shows being unsuccessful.

Photobucket is garbage. They reduce the res of your photos. Get a Dropbox, they give you 5GB storage for free, automatically syncs all your crap onto a new computer if your old one dies & with pics being dumped into it you'll never hit 5GB before you die. Well unless you use ridiculously big bmp files.

Since we had 13 episodes in season 3, would the supposed Equestria Girls series also have 13 episodes? Maybe they divided production between both series', and it might be the reason why season 3 ended up being half the lengh of the first 2. Just a thought.

Picasa works very well for the most part.

With Picasa you can adjust the size of the image with a single value in the URL, too. So it's much easier than sites where you have to go back and find the smaller size.

Only the first pass and thats how much has been done. Only thing left is her Tail as well as how to fit in a hat without it cutting out in the background.

Am I the only one here who really doesn't like this humanized thing? I don't normally let my jimmies get rustled by news like this but this sounds like it can only end badly, at least right now. I mean, like, terribly bad. Maybe it's just me and/or the beer.

Two things before I'm off to bed:


1. My take on the spin-off is this: As long as this just stays as a spinoff and not a canon to the series, I don't have a big problem. I'm not a fan of humanizations of MLP in general (With a very select few exceptions), but I'm not worried about this at all.

2. First pass before I head to bed and to school:



The very few wet mane vectors I found were useless so I had to result to some lengthy painting. Will hopefully have this fully finished later on.

Yeah, this will apparently remain as a spin-off only which is good. However I still don't see the need for a spin-off where the characters are this different and in a completely different environment. I mean a show based on those parameters wouldn't be bad, but I just don't see how it will work with these characters we've already gotten to know in this show. I hope this spring I'll be eating my words, but right now I just don't see how this will be good.

Also those vectors are looking good 👍 They're better than anything I could ever do.

Even though many of us have moved the Chatzy in recent weeks, we still chat as much as ever. So I should thank eX for going ahead and making the original chatroom. It's definitely helped us develop as friends, as well help each other out if we're having problems, and I won't forget the fun we've had in there at times. Hopefully it'll last another year at least.
