GTP_WRS-Online : Academy/D-League Racing - Suspended Until GT7

I understand Gayle, this session takes place during my little ones nap time otherwise I wouldn't be racing either.

Had a great time today, always do at Monza. For those that sign up 100% confirmed it would be appreciated that you change your status if you are not going to be able to join us. Or post in the thread. We waited a few extra minutes today to see if we were going to have more drivers and lost out on some instruction time.

I think I needed to have been able to get to the start of the session for this one, I have struggled all week with this combo and the lack of running cause my issue at the first chicane as the draft effect surprised me, sorry about that.
Thanks to Al & Dean for the private lesson after to get the feel of drafting, one problem I found was the draft was so strong it felt like Al was slowing down which then made me feel like I was going slower than normal and then could break later but the opposite was true.
So next week will be the same spec car as this weeks time trial?

Has the number of laps been determined for the Revving is Racing academy event? I was thinking 23-25 since this is such a short track.

Don't think I will be able to make either events this week as we have company coming from out of state.
 
Finally a event I can go to, this is my first WRS event so I am probably going to finish last-ish, but whatever, online racing is always fun if everybody is playing the right way. :3
 
Im so bummed to miss this one. Dang it! Traveling all week and weekend unfortunately. The instruction is always good at these events but I really would have liked to get it with this combo. Oh well, thats the great thing about the WRS, there will another one! Happy Week Everyone!!👍
 
Joining now ;) Haven't run any laps on this combo but I can give some general GVE reverse driving tips.

Edit: is it me or are the PD servers extremely slow this weekend?

Was fun. I just remembered that I forgot to change the oil :dunce:... I would have been those .04X faster, in the last race, if I hadn't forgot, Sjaak :D!

Someone moved in my way on the start of my second timed lap, so I exited and restarted the second lap.
 
I'm really happy with and very proud of my performance today. In the main I got into this awesome rhythm and just kept cutting great lap after great lap. I set my all time fastest laps for this combo in these races today, faster than I ever thought possible for me. I spent many hours on this combo with the practice and Wednesday night's race using Vagabond's tune from the WRS TT for suspension and LSD setup and a basic setup for the transmission. Although I really messed up on Sprint1 and Sprint3 costing me a lot of time and positions in the field I'm still happier with this session than any I've done yet. :D

Honestly I was very down on myself about my performance lately. I seemed to have hit a plateau and no matter what I did I just couldn't get any faster and with this race I broke through that barrier and made real progress.
