1:27.545 on SSR5. Gotta clean up sector 2 and I have a chance at P1. :)

Just watched my replay and it looks like I left the windscreen wipers on.

Wow, at this rate I'll be lucky to get within 2 seconds of your time. I'm at a 1:30.131 SSR5. Thinking I can improve another second over the upcoming week. Using 4/6 brake balance on the Lambo gained me a few tenths, loosing time getting out of the hairpin section still and the exit out of the last corner.

I was using 4/6 but changed it to 3/6 because I was struggling to get the back end out into the slow corners.

So I'm sitting on a 30.9 right now at Fuji. One thing I noticed is I cannot for the life of me get my car to brake as well as the top guy. He's braking after me and slows down faster than I do. I have tried all combinations of ballast and downforce. Even stock Camber settings and my car won't brake as well. Is there some special technique I am missing or is it the replays timing is a bit off?

I didn't notice any issues with braking last night - there's only one big stop at Fuji (in to turn 1), and I could match the top time in to there. Most of the other braking zones are only a quick dab/stab or a long coast/gentle brake.

IIRC, my settings were brakes 5:5, wings 35:58, camber 2.0:1.2, no ballast. I could trail brake really hard with these settings - right in to the apex of turn 1.

Hmm. I was running 50 rear downforce. With more I was getting burned on acceleration. Maybe my corner exits just suck.

I haven't really had a proper go yet... only 20 laps, and that included trying different combos of turbo/ballast/wing/engine power & upgrade... I'm around 1s off the top time, but missed the 1st apex by miles and dropped .4 in T1 alone... so I would need a proper sit down to see if it's lines or tune etc that needs improvement.

Might be there's a better combination of power/wing/ballast... at this stage I think I could run a low 30 with what I had on it last night.

1:34.111 at Fuji in my Takata.

Awaiting a good tune. Thought I had one from an earlier race but I may have been driving a loaner then.

very good lap Dalone...i know how you play (DS3) and i know how hard is that....i did 1.33.5xx....with HSV and i ll try with Takata...i think that is faster than HSV....i know that i m not the best driver of the world but lets fun and drive.....!!!!!

I think that Praiano's tune is a very nice tune for Takata with some changes in downforce...i did 1.33.8xx with that and i think that i can go faster....lets see...

Someone sent me this tune for the NSX '01

Thanks John

But which NSX '01

Loctite or Mobil?

Probably works on both but just in case

I know this might seem a bit rude, but does someone have a 600pp Takata Dome setup? I do not have the other NSX cars. I'd really like to give the Dome a propper go. Really thrilled about this seasonal, best one in a year it feels like :) cheers.

Thanks John

This was for the Mobil 1 version but it probably doesn't make a difference. Also if the car is slightly run in you may need to alter some of the suspension settings by one point at a time to make the handling more to your liking :)

The '01 NSX definitely isn't as quick as the '03 though, unfortunately I don't have the '03 version :(

SS5 1:31.228 in the Lamb 670-4 Superveloce using an old Trial Mountain time trial tune. Pretty happy to have the tunning back. Ran the 458 first, more fun two seconds slower for me. Another second to gain for me in the Lamb, just need to not over drive the car/tires.

Fuji in the Takata Dome (duh) = 1:32.941. Need to play with the aero and getting the last turn smoother.

For those who are lazy (aka me) do you have a link to the Lambo SV trial mountain tune?

TIA

I had to have a crack at SSR5 in the Miura but was nearly a full second short of gold. So much grunt and so little grip I was losing the back end even in 4th gear. Switched to the Superveloce and did a 1:30.6 which put me, very briefly, on the front page of the leaderboard. :) I'd like to have another go and see if I can get back into the top 250 but with the two other TTs and NCRthree's new clean run challenge to do I might not get the time.

1:27.333 on SSR5 now. The leader is using dirty oil so I might not have a chance for 1st until the oil gets dirty. :)

For all you lazy people

Murcielago SV tunes I've found

Thanks, makes the mistakes on my lap easier to take because I was about a hundredth of a second off your time. :) You do realise the garage editor can give you dirty oil? ;)

Please, explain?

I'm very curious know

Get a dirty oil car and change it's body to that of a Lambo. The game then thinks it's dealing with a Lambo and resets it's stats with the exception of certain attributes such as dirty oil. Or you could change the mileage so your Lambo has half a million miles on it or something like that. I assume you know of the garage editor application.

You mean that cheat/hack thing, like awhile ago with the hybrids. That you could tune a Civic to 1000BHP (or what number it was).

Oh wow. You can do that? I always thought that didn't work. :P

Well it's hard for PD to police this sort of thing, it's easy to tell if certain car traits are unusual but their is no reason why a car can't have that many miles on it.

Well if that is still available, who knows what else still is left to up-grade the car. And if look like the the leader board of the SS5 and see the #1 is .5xx ahead of the rest, i'll start wondering how that is possible. Not often you see such a gap of the leader.

If there is still a hack available to make the car faster, the seasonal events ain't worth nothing to me anymore :grumpy:

I think dirty oil and downforce settings are the only area where serious time can be found, P1 does appear to have low downforce though so I think most of that time is down to him or at least a good legit setup.

I really don't wanna get involved in trying to cheat my way to the top by putting in extra downforce or having very dirty oil.

I can confirm this because Yinato did message me on PSN that he and Rajman are using the same setup. And I know that Yinato would never cheat.
