I've watched a few videos so far, but this is definitely gonna be one huge spoiler marathon. Must resist the temptation.

Playing without a wheel and saying the AI is not "smart" because there is not a lot of crashing compare to codemaster's games ...I don't feel the gamespot guys are doing the game justice.

I think GT5 tries to have the largest audience possible, but the main audience is the car enthusiasts who knows or whats to learn more about driving, racing and tuning, everything there is about cars. It just feels very unprofessional to do a preview without even knowing the previous GT games.

Example will be a starcraft 2 review by a guy who never played RTS and complains about not being realistic.

Haha, nice point :)

Haha they really are clueless to the point it hurts and murdering the game. Cant wait to see their review scores *wink wink*

Wow. He said that the graphics arent as big of a leap from Prologue. I wonder if he knows that there isnt a racing game that looks close to this good.

This is terrible, he's not using a wheel, is using driving aids, is comparing it to NFS and is then saying the handling is too forgiving!

Clueless.

It seems like they r doing on purpose to make it as boring as possible. The reviewer's driving is very questionable, maybe he never played a GT before. Comparing the driving physics to NFS seems to me he has no idea the difference between arcade driving games and simulation driving games.

How can they have been familiar with the game series for so long, and have reviewed/seen so much of it, and still not correctly remember that background?

I thought you could send in questions? We all need to send this one:

"Why is the guy playing so clueless as to what a simulation racing game is? Comparing GT5 to Need for Speed shows a total lack of understanding of the genre and gaming in general. Find someone who knows what Gran Turismo is or shut this amateurish farce down."
