So you haven't been following the release, know nothing about the game, are going to play it on your roommate's PS3, and yet it feels "incomplete"?

That makes perfect sense.

Been looking around online yesterday and today, know about as much as there is to know without having the game... I didn't say it felt incomplete, I can't say that as I haven't played it. I said it seems incomplete...

-Recycled cars (premium and standard? Who does that?)
-Interior only on premium
-Damage only on premium
-Etc..

But wait! We get windshield wipers and headlights! Only on premium...

Its like a game that claims 1000+ cars but only delivers 200+ with immersion.

Can I be the first to say <ahem>.....

"Obvious troll is obvious"

Thank you <bows> Thank you.

Oh wow, you're cool...

Obvious blind fanboy is ignorant to the fact that his beloved GT5 is lacking.

And Mastakojo, I agree their review was boring and seemed unorganized. That may be why my opinion is the way it is, I've yet to watch any other live previews of the game. Perhaps they weren't enthusiastic because there was nothing to get excited about, or maybe it was just early and they hadn't had enough coffee.

You're obviously clueless, standards DO have damage.

I don't call low-res scratches and dents damage...

Regardless, we are getting off-topic. People can continue ripping Gamespot for having a half-ass preview.

There is deformation damage...ah you edited in dents, but there's a pic of an SUV with a deformed front end.

"drifting in NFS was much easier, while trying live to drift in GT5 with a 4WD"
"doesn't like driving in the rain while in cockpitview, can't see anything...."
"couldn't find the menu to switch off the race music"
"thought there was no custom music possible"
etc, etc, etc..... :ouch:👎

I didnt watch the whole thing but one thing I noticed was there was a hint of sarcasm in the tones of their voices and that they didnt seem to review it subjectively. I just got the impression they were taking the piss out of it. "I can drift in NFS!" Go play NFS then! They kept mentioning the loading times in between races. Yeah they do seem a little long but will that detract from the gaming experience? I dont think so at all. We have been patient for the game to get here. Our patience can last 10 seconds longer while a race loads up I reckon.

Gamespot reviewers look like that people who don't consider the challenge of dominating certain undispensable things as a part of the game.

NEVER!! I've resisited TOO much for too long to go and blow it away now!

I and only I, will make the sole GT5 preview. For myself. Everyone else should do the same.

And too those who peeked. Your only going to disappoint your CHILDREN!
*Christmas Eve... To Son.* By the way we bought you a bike. Goodnight!

Wow, and I thought the hosts from Top Gear US were dumb, these beat them to the finish line of @$$holeness. I'm eagerly awaiting Wednesday afternoon and know enough about the features of the game to rate it.

Sorry, Gamespot is for video games like Forza and NFS, if I want a real in depth review I'll take a look Inside Sim Racing.

I dont use a wheel either. I hate using wheels, I had a g25 and sold it on craigslist. Using a wheel doesnt make you a bigger fan than me, I just prefer to use analog sticks.

Doesn't make me a bigger fan but chances are it makes you slower and less consistent.

Justin says "As I start testing online, you guys will be playing online as well. So uh, you can come humiliate me. I look forward to it."

At least he knows he is horrible. :dunce:

Did anyone catch the part where he tries to drift a 4WD Rally car, screws up bad and says that he was "really good at drifitng in NFS, what the heck, man".

Me: :embarrassed:

"From this video the game doesnt look that fast. hope i isnt like that when i get it"

Gotta love this one from the comments at the bottom. Sounds like this guy was expecting motorstorm or something. Racing sims never feel that fast, the sense of speed in videogame sims is like non-existent, so that guy is gonna be bummed since once again, his expectations werent realistic.

Just watched the vid. To me he should give a decent review of GT5, know that he's a fan. The review will be out after GT5's release, which is on the 24/25th of November. 👍
