There's a thread for LS and SF, so we need a LV help thread!

And I need help on the third Woozie casino mission, 'You've Got Chips'. If this was on a PC, I'd be done in no time, but the targeting system is really pissing me off. Every time I try this damn mission, CJ's targeting goes completely fubar. Either he actually targets an attacker, he targets a machine, or he looks blankly in space while someone rips him to shreds. How the hell did anyone beat this mission? Do you have to just keep trying and hope the targeting system doesn't screw up? Any help would be greatly appreciated, this mission really pisses me off.

Havent done this mission yet, but i'm sure the whole "screw up" problem you're having with your aiming system is just the fact that you arent facing the right way when trying to aim. That's all i can think of.

If it aims at someone you dont want to shoot, just cycle through the people until you get to the person you want. If you still dont get the person, you need to TURN. The dude doesnt do it automatically. Crouching helps them miss, and you shoot better as well.

Also, when coming around corners and whatnot, do the roll thing while your crouching to surprise them and shoot them before they can react.

Yeah this one was pissing me off a bit.

You have to keep in mind that looking at your enemies with the right stick doesn't mean that you can lock on to them. If you do see one, use the left stick to point CJ to the direction of the enemy.

All that I did was : get some armor, take out an ak, crouch, aim, shoot! Take your time and imagine your're play some Counter-Strike ;)

I was still getting some bad aim problems even when I was looking slightly off to the side of the enemy. And by the time I scroll through targets, the guy is already shooting at me, especially the guy there with the auto shotgun. But the crouching might help.

You guys that are upto the Las Venturas missions, how much % are you completeted, im 25% and im a few missions into the SF missions.

Anyone know a good order to get the motorcycles in the courier mission to acquire the triad chinese casino as an asset?

I speak of the mission where you have to get three police bikes onto a packer before the time runs out. I just need a decent order of which bikes to get first so I can complete the mission.

Thanks.

I just picked what ever bike came first, you have plenty of time.

I beat it first time. I waited until the choppers were right over my head to shoot them down. Didn't really cause me any troubles.

Yeah, I did the same thing as KM. I had a little trouble with that Mission for Toreno where you have to fly low. That proved to be real irritating for about 5 attempts, until I got it. I never got detected, but I either hit something, or didn't land right. Either way, every time I blew up.

I'm now up to the "Black Project" mission and "The Meat Business". Both I have failed once. I failed the latter because of lack of weapons (wasn't prepared). I failed "Black Project" when I got shot down by Missiles. I'll try jetting the other way and seeing if they have Missiles on that side.

I haven't started Cesar's missions yet.

But, what's an easy way to finish the "Black Project" mission? It's irritating.

Which one is "Black Project" again? Is that the area 69 one?

Yeah, where you enter that Military Guarded place to steal the SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER Jetpack SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER.

It takes ages for me to get in (although I suppose I could just make a run for it, smash the Window Vent thing and climb in. I don't think they come after you. I fail the mission when you get Blown out of the Sky by those Missiles.

Just fly straight up the second you get the jetpack. You'll eventually get high enough to be able to speed off without getting hit.. I found that mission to be rather easy if you just go through cappin' everyone and screw the stealth... :)

EDIT: Also, another method is to try and find that radar room.. It can disable those missiles.

EDIT 2: I wish i could spoil something for you.. theres a mission that you're really going to hate. :)

I know. There's a few missions I have already been a bit frustrated with. Just like that Plane mission where you fly low. Or Zero's "Air Raid" mission (which I didn't realise I didn't have to do until after I finished it!) :grumpy:

Don't spoil for me though. Thanks for the help, anyway. My AK47 will do good when I rampage through Area 69.

I did that mission first shot, I took out the radar and had no problems excaping. the key is the radar.

Well, first off, grab an M4 from one of the soldiers you will kill on the ground level of the base. Not only will you never have to worry about ammo (everyone at the base carries one), but it's also more accurate, and it's got a higher rate of fire than the AK.

The way I was able to get through the base was by crouching and rolling around corners. I needed the health and armor pickups though (kudos to R* for placing those pickups perfectly). The key is to take it slowly, and you should not have any problems.

And as for the missiles, you need to find the control room to take the SAM system offline. The control room is not too far from where you start from exiting the vent. Once you take the SAMs offline, escaping the base will be exceedingly easy.

And on a side note, does anyone else think that base's siren was really annoying?

Yeah! but it was funny what the lady over the mic was saying

Well I done that mission as soon as I got off here, as I have done many times, but thanks for the help. I also done the "Green Goo" mission.

For the "Black Project" mission, I sniped as many people as I could from the front gate, and then decided to grab the Armour and make a run for it. I went through the vents and hardly took a bullet. I done the inside part easy, as usual, and shut off the Missiles. I used my AK47 in the last part (it's the first weapon I got Hitman with, and the only one at the moment). I love the gun alot, so I use it alot. I used the Silenced Pistol elsewhere. Used the Goggles in a few places, but found them quite useless, as you can see where the guy stands. Plus, I used the map alot to see which way they were facing.

I done the mission with absolute ease, but thanks to all who helped.

Im having massive problems with the mission "dam and blast" were you have to fly the Juank Air plane over some place then parachute out.
Whrn i get over the place i press triangle and nothing happens he wont jump out what do i do???

Yes it's quite high. It's in the clouds anyway. If you don't see it the first time fly a little bit further, turn around facing it again and go up.

I've failed that mission twice because I was hit by missiles when I flew out. I had no problem getting to the jetpack. There's a couple of armors lying around and plenty of M4s and ammo. So I just blasted my way through.

I'll try what you said above though.

Just turn off the radar, its not far from the vent you come in.

I realised that the next time I was doing it. I came across a room with a red marker which switched the missiles off. 👍
